I totally agree Anton. Truthfully, most of the scenes involving Lisa hit pretty hard. You know a game is doing a great job of telling a story when they can make you feel like this with a cut scene.
I was just watching a true crime documentary called Lost Women of Highway 20 and thinking how much the setting reminds me of Days Gone. Then the next scene shifted to Camp Sherman aka Shermans Camp, in Oregon. The developers did such a great job capturing the feeling of the place, I was able to recognize it just in a random tv show
Bend Studios was/is hosted in Bend, Oregon. There's a video on TH-cam called "Real Life Places in Days Gone" and they show quite a bit that is virtually identical, though clearly they took some liberties, shrank the region a bit.
@@glenwaldrop8166 Before I die, I will be visiting Oregon as I want to see all these areas. Would be pretty cool to drop in on the Bend Studio HQ also.
Great video Boris, love this game ! One thing I've done during the early access to Iron Butte is clear the Rogue Tunnel Nero checkpoint. That way once Lost Lake is playable, fast travel to and plant traps at the dam and the ripper compound. Plus clear the Iron Butte horde and whatever else one wants to do.
Another great video. I had to explain to my family how those Rippers got blown up. "How did that happen? He didn't throw anything." Magic, it was Boris Magic! 😅
Great video my friend, your set up skills are legendary 😊. Good tip using the ripper bike at the end, 1st time I ran/sneaked 800 meters to my own bike, doh!
My first time doing this mission I didn't notice the ammo boxes after getting my gear & rescuing Lisa! Don't recall how it played out but do recall feeling like a numpty when I spotted all that loot sitting right there in the open on my second playthrough 😂
More smart planning in advance to make life easier. The route you mapped out makes this chapter child's play , top it off with using a ripper bike to get to yours is nothing short of genius. Brilliant gameplay my friend !
Nice run through boris possibilities are endless with early access. I saw spawnicus video were he kills two dogs with proximity mine on nero building. 👍
I love the idea of setting up traps to take these guys out...I may have to play with this on one of the playthroughs with an abundance of remote bombs... I'm wondering how many of em can be used for the various ripper clusters along the way 😁 It'd be a bit of a waste of materials unless I can stash enough to replenish afterwards... hopefully I'll remember to try this next time I see a pile of remote bombs at the shed or farm house!
That's the biggest problem my friend, finding enough remote bombs. Eventually, I think you can craft them, but I'm sure that's unlocked later in the game. But great idea my friend.
Dropping this info here bc it was during this setup that something I haven't yet had happen, nor have I seen anything about, just happened. I was in the IB area leaving the gas station (close to the nero camp we opened way earlier by map exploits) and 2 runners caught me so I pressed "Start" button and reloaded from that gas station. When the game launched it was stuck in a slow motion, like when we use focus for shooting or when an animal, like a runner, makes an attack while we're on the bike. So I reloaded the last save and it didn't stop. So I just now quit to desktop and I'll let ya know.... VERY WEIRD! It loaded fine but the autosave/manual save from filling the bike with gas from that gas station is gone-I always do a manual save at those points as well as whatever autosaves happen. Interesting. Wonder what that's all about. Glad it came back to normal tho. It's as tho my timing hitting the pause button added a focus shot type of slow down for the entire game even the loading screen. Have you ever seen this?
I've never seen this mate, but I rarely play Days Gone on the PC. I usually use my PS5, and I've never encountered this. The good news is you got the game back to normal so happy days, lol.
Was wondering why you were unloading all your bombs on those rocks outside the camp. I forgot about losing a lot of your inventory during this mission. Great tip👌
Brilliant. I usually visit the two material locations after I’ve escaped the Ripper camp, but the bike is a real bonus. Is a remastered Days Gone coming out? I heard it was a ‘no show’, whatever that means. Also I understand Bend Studios are using the Days Gone technology to make a fresh game. Given that they perfected the single shooter versus multiple human and nonhuman enemies it makes sense they’re working on something similar.
Well Jonathan, their may well be a remaster on the way, but if there is, they are no where near finishing it yet. And yes, they have been working on a new game that includes a lot of their game engine stuff from Days Gone, but I haven't heard much about it unfortunately.
Great videos. Will you replay the remaster version when it comes out? I am curious to know if they will fix the rock climbing in the remastered version and other glitches.
Another awesome video Boris. I think my route may be a bit quicker and more effortless. Lol. I'm not far from doing this mission on my current playthrough. I will try to remember to video it. Love your work always my friend
@ for me it’s because I wanted to explore that area where the bike was parked, and kill the Rippers there as well, it was sort of a “ hey why not “ thing for me lol
Mate I bet your passport says "Place of Birth: Iron Butte Region", you know that area and rest of the map so well (roads and locations of goodies) you could drive it blindfolded! 😉
No u can shoot marauders off their bikes and ride them anytime. Their bikes are junk tho. Better to “sabotage” them and get the valuable scrap from the bikes.
No it ain't mate. I just wanted to show this as a lot of people think they have to stealth their way all the way back to Deacon's bike, when you actually don't.
@borislav247 Is there a way to return to Wizard Island to purchase the Chicago chopper once you have been locked out of the south?. I seen one video going through the tunnel but the game throws you out and back to the enterance, I dont know how they did it but I have seen it done. Cheers mate Ps keep up the amazing work. 👌
There most certainly IS a way to get back my friend. I'll leave a link to the video you need to watch below this comment. The video is chaptered also, so you can quickly find the routes that you need to take to get to all the regions. I wish you all the best with the journeys Kevin. th-cam.com/video/d_qF56K1lxc/w-d-xo.html
Every time I see a Boris video in my feed I know it’s gonna be a good day. Absolute legend and master of the game.
You are far too kind my friend, thank you.
Man, that scene where Lisa gives Deek a hug, gets me every time. So much said without dialogue. Legendary video as always brother!

That last scene with Lisa really cuts me up.
Me too mate, me too.
PERFECTION!! I had not 1 hiccup, smooth as butter. HAHAHAHA Thanks B247!! Absolutely appreciated 07
An absolute pleasure mate.
Number 3 to comment today. Another great walkthrough. Thank you, Boris.
And thank you for watching my friend.

Early access to areas really does put the cat among the pigeons, lol.
@ 24:33 “the Rippers don’t even hear the blast because they are so far away…” did you mean they are all so high over cloud 9? lol 😂
Lol, indeed Paul.

Your videos are great and love the commentary on one of my fav games , but haven’t I watched this video before ?
Thank you EBPO, and you definitely haven't seen this one before my friend.
It turned out to be a very exciting execution of this mission. I wish you even more creative ideas. Be healthy.
More stuff is coming my friend. More missions are being humbled as we speak.
@@borislav247In this mission, it was these two that you blew up that were the most problematic. And the rest could be dealt with.

I always get caught when doing this mission. Thanks for the video
An absolute pleasure P.
I made it my mission to get every single one of them. Took much longer to finish, but it was certainly a pleasurable venture lol
Lol, the first time I ever played this mission, that's exactly what I did also.

I most certainly will mate. I'm as curious as you about if they fix the ability to climb the rocks.
Is there really a remastered version coming out?!?!?!?!
@ Yes, there really is a remaster coming out.
I heard it was only going to be on PS5 PRO.if that's true,I won't be playing it.

Always wondered if anyone had tried to take on that small ripers horde on the way in? Wonder what would happen?
Good question my friend.
Hated that little runt . Deac soon sorted him out but wishing it was boozer eh did it . We Jessie ya we fud 😂😂
It should have been Boozer for sure Ian. Those rippers took his arm in the name of that idiot.
@ for sure Boris little goofy little runt eh
Stealing the ripper bike was exactly what I did in my first play through 😆but it’s slow AF!!
It took me 2 play throughs to figure it out.
@ for me it’s because I wanted to explore that area where the bike was parked, and kill the Rippers there as well, it was sort of a “ hey why not “ thing for me lol
It is for sure, but, it's a damn sight quicker than walking or running to Deacons bike, lol.
Yeah, I get that. Make them all suffer. Can't argue with that logic, lol.
Mate I bet your passport says "Place of Birth: Iron Butte Region", you know that area and rest of the map so well (roads and locations of goodies) you could drive it blindfolded! 😉
Lol, thank you. I am pretty familiar with this area of Days Gone now.
Iron Butte nightclub pmsl😂
LMAO, absolutely FF.
Wow is this the only time in the game you can ride another bike?
