Dev Bhumi or land of God according to thousands years old Hindu mythology is our Swat valley. Maharaja Hari Singh wanted to develop this zone on the same line as Swiss Beauty but situation became worst in 1947 and this remained as his dreams. Crores of cash rich Indians would like to travel this beautiful part of the country but they want to safety and good vegetarian food like roti Daal subji, and paneer.God bless the area and all the people.Jay Hind
kamal bardia I am from Swat and i can tell you that you can find vegetarian food restaurants in every street of Swat. After the military operation in Swat, this valley has regained it's peace and now swat is one the most peaceful areas of the world. there are numerous historical old relics found all around in Swat. Many hindus, sikhs and christians live here in swat without any threat to their lives and properties. we being members of the same society freely interract with each other without any prejudice. There are statues, stupas and many other remains of the Budhists and Hindus in this historical valley but no muslim even thinks about harming them. Even after the domination of Taliban for more than a year, most of the remains are still there.
