This just proves that all they had to do to be successful was remaster the good Battlefields. Portal is the only reason I’ll ever consider BF2042.
Yeah, when the game will drop at 30€ or less I'll take it only for the Portal feature.
It's absolute shit though. What you're not seeing is the constant crashing and massive amount of bugs.

Portal mode might actually save BF2042 from a huge fail. Gotta give it to them, It's actually an amazing idea
Weird thing is that Portal mode gets better reviews then the base-game despite being developed by a different devteam

Portal is literally part of Battlefield 2042, just like Hazard Zone and AOW. In fact, Portal incorporates AOW as well.
@@sujimayne Portal is basically just a remaster of the old games all put into one. That's like calling something like Halo MCC a whole new game just because it's just a collection of all the other games in one place.
Sure, Portal has 2042 stuff in it, but it's more than telling how most people don't play Portal specifically with much from 2042 rather than playing like the old games

@@Freelancer837 Portal has tons of pure 2042 maps, just with altered gamemodes/hardcore/ect. It's basically bringing back custom servers while also allowing players to use old maps/loadouts.

I bet in a month people will stop complaining, just like BF1 and BF5.
Plus, BF4 had an even buggier and featureless launch than 2042, and people liked it more for the first few weeks than 2042.
