    I'm seeing a new way for coloured or toned black and white images using masks .
    However my problem is all these new "easy Photo Manipulation gives you a lot of cool Styles" does put too many different fish in the pond and it's hard to pick the best to catch .

    This is super cool. Is there a thumb rule / pointer to follow as to what kind of blend mode works best with what kind of picture ?

    Sorry, but you keep repeating yourself. That's the same things you already showed in various other tutorials. To my mind, it's not very impressive to play with the color sliders to create a cool effect. Just my personal point of view.
