For on premises if HPE + Dell are the biggest force to determine the medium if they have support from both NVDIA AND Broadcom they will offer solution from both, So mixed kind of solution : Standard Networking for LAN , WAN, DATA, INFINIBAND for MEM-GPU - GPU- MEM If cost is somewhere customer be looking, these vendor's only will give 400*2 Gig ports for networking Cloudvendor's are another big player's since they mostly have ethernet , it will be intresting to look to what they opt. My bet is its on NVDIA how bad they can push to hold the status of 1 trillion dollar company pushing Infinibands to mass market's.... We have seen HPE and Dell already trying to opt in under the market created hype
