I also had a bunk very close to a fan but it was near the footboard and not directly over it. I liked to sleep with my feet towards the ladder so my head would be on the side with the fan, never had any incidents like startling awake and getting hit with the blade. I was doing something(kid stuff idk) and got absolutely smacked in the forehead by the fan, never did that again. It was a wood fan as well, which probably makes a massive difference.
Be careful with the fan, you should probably get one with smaller blades (Edit: I had a loft bed as kid and my parents easily switched out the fan. Not because they didn’t trust me but because you could wake up in the middle of the night, dazed, and accidentally hit the fan.)
They might want to share🤷♀️ as kids my sister and I shared a room for years we had the option for having a room each but didn't choose that till we were around 11
If you want an overhead light fan ive seen some cute ones that are gorgeous on Amazon and would be safer with the now lofted bed. Most are under 200 but would probably mitigate ER visits.
I’m hoping that loft bed is not at risk of falling down! Just please make sure it is attached to the wall and well secured so the little one in the single twin bed underneath stays safe! The room looks great! 😍
Yeah, the horizontal beams should be going all the way across the vertical support beams, so the horizontal part is sitting ON TOP of the support beams.... I would be really skeptical of the long-term stability of that loft bed, and as they said it's very heavy
Just make sure the height clearance is enough for you to sit up on the lower bed. I too thought a loft bed would be fun but quickly lost interest in climbing into the top each time I went in and out of the bed so I stayed on the bottom. Now I have the *pleasure* (sarcasm) of literally crawling into bed because there isn't enough height to get in and out of bed. And to think the advertised advantage of a loft bed was that I would have space to sit at a desk underneath or something other than put a mattress under or sit on the hard floor. At least I don't have to worry about sun in my face if I ever have to work a nigh tshift job.
I enjoy the simplicity and cleanness of your design. Kids are gonna add a lot of their own design elements and patterns and color so I like that the room is starting out in a very clean and streamlined way. It’s not gonna stay that way and that’s great. I like the girly without the frilly.
Apart from the fan I’d love to have this for my daughter’s room. If they ever do get their own room you can still use the space up there like a loft for toys or storage or a play area if properly rigged up. So cute tho
Loft beds are great if you have a fancy house with high ceilings. When I was little I got one from a garage sale put it all together with my mom then went up top and could barely move if I’d sit up slightly my head would touch the ceiling! Thanks a LOT 8 1/2 foot ceilings
nobody’s talking about how good of a mother she is! and how nice the parents are for making those girls so happy! i’m sure as the mother she is, she thought about the safety of her child and the fan. People really should be nicer considering they are giving “safety tips” !
As someone with a loft bed, can agree they're heavy! Especially when moving the loft bed from one room to another. It took me, my big sister, and our dad to move my loft bed from my childhood room to my little sister's room after she moved out and I got her room. Especially when it came to trying to get the mattress back on. Somehow we did it. But despite all of the hard work that goes into building, or putting one back together after to get it apart, a loft bed, it's fun to have one, I use the under of my own loft as my computer set up and I go back and forth calling it my cave and my fort. Everyone I've shown my room to always says the computer set up is their favorite part, you can use the space for a lot of things.
I had a top bunk til I ran away at 17. One wrong move in my sleep and leg stuck straight into the fan blades 🥲 you may consider at some point moving the fan over a few feet since those blades already look pretty small. Idk if you can get smaller than even those
Great redesign! I love the design on the wall peaking through the loft bed & the beddies on the upper bunk. If the steps get slippery you can get carpet rectangles to stick to the steps or make your own by cutting up a throw rug & adhering them with Alien Tape.
Hi!So I would recommend you to move the bed or get blades for the fans that are not sharp because I had a bed like that before and I almost got hit with the blade and then we cut out the top of the bunk to make it just a bed! Hope this helps you!
I think you should have put the two youngest in this room as the older one will really want her own space first!. It happened with my 3 nieces! So my sister had to remove everything!. Looks amazing tho xxxxxx
Maybe the youngest isn't sleeping through the night. Especially as she's transitioning to a big girl bed. This way the two older ones can sleep while mom or dad take care of the baby in the middle of the night.
You can swap that fan out for a smaller caged fan for safety! We got one for our kids for less that $300 and was super easy to install!
When i was 7 i got hurt by standing on bunk bed while the fan was on
I got stitches on my head and i still have the scar
💝💖💗💓💚
Wow wow 😲😲
@@BallPen-u3uglad you’re okay love
My dad did this for me because once when i was younger i hit my head on the corner of the fan😢
Even if blades dont go over the bed, they close enough for a blanket or somethi g to catch.
Kids also sometimes play games by jumping on the fan as a game and getting injured. So please move the fan immediately.
My kids had a loft bed, and they used to fly barbies from the ceiling fan!!! Good times! 😂
@@rochellesymonette7991I have never heard of a kid jumping into fans 💀 idk what kids you have interacted with to do this but that’s not normal
@V3sp3r_4eva 😂😂😅🤭
@@rochellesymonette7991 How do you jump onto a ceiling fan???
NGL the fan scares me but I had a bunk that was close to a fan haha. It's probably just the angle that makes it look really close.
I also had a bunk very close to a fan but it was near the footboard and not directly over it. Imo it looks completely fine
I’m currently on the top bunk right next to the fan and I’ve touched it while it was on before and it didn’t do much
lol they should remove it. I got hit in the head all the time as a child on a bunk bed.
Probably not the angle. The mattress hit the lights so Im sure the blades reach
Be careful with the fan, you should probably get one with smaller blades
(Edit: I had a loft bed as kid and my parents easily switched out the fan. Not because they didn’t trust me but because you could wake up in the middle of the night, dazed, and accidentally hit the fan.)
Its the shadow
There’s always someone
What giving genuine advice? @scmeron
Amazon has really nice ones with the smaller blades. And relatively inexpensive.
If a kid cant be trusted not to touch a moving fan i dont think they should be that high up then
Was it just me who gasped when she noticed the ceiling fan !! 😱
Ich sehe schon das Kind am Ventilator hängen
Nope... very dangerous and I hope they remain safe 🤕🩺🩹 (room is cute though)
I feel like the oldest should have her own room
They might want to share🤷♀️ as kids my sister and I shared a room for years we had the option for having a room each but didn't choose that till we were around 11
yea if she wants one she should get her own
I agree it’s kind of like nonsense to have the youngest have their own room now it sounds like you’re playing favorites. Don’t you agree?
@Molly61657 its most likely the kids choice and would make sense if the oldest kids are closer in age
She might want to share bc sometimes kids perfer to share
If you want an overhead light fan ive seen some cute ones that are gorgeous on Amazon and would be safer with the now lofted bed. Most are under 200 but would probably mitigate ER visits.
And the fans the have are small and in a cage. So cute and safe 🎉
The oldest always got her own room when I was growing up.
I I thought so too, but I think eventually the newborn is going to transition to sleeping in the same room with the two year-old
OMG THE FAN!!!
I’m hoping that loft bed is not at risk of falling down! Just please make sure it is attached to the wall and well secured so the little one in the single twin bed underneath stays safe!

I agree makes me nervous I thought it was just me and my anxiety 😅
I was gonna comment on the fan as well
I love it!!! And I def love the loft bed better than bunk. Gives more space for the bottom too!! Love!! So so cute. 🤍🤍
Omg!! I’ve always wanted a loft bed!! They’re so pretty and they make your room look 1,000,000 times better!!

Mom to mom, get shorter blades on their fan. My daughter only had hers a week before something "accidentally" hit the fan 😅
It turned out great!! And love the two little sweethearts giggling together. ❤
Stephanie, this is a big decision and you are doing the right thing by giving this a lot of thought and research ❤

I wish they had that when I was sharing a room with my sister!
I love this bed, love that it's with stairs and not a ladder, like an upstairs loft. Very boujee❤

Very pretty color scheme!

Beautiful bedroom 😅 and your girls are going to love their bedroom.
This looks absolutely adorable ❤❤❤
The pink chenille spread is sure cute.
Looks great! Beautiful job
Love this adorable family
Thanks for sharing. I've been contemplating the same thing for two girls who share a very small space and bunk beds seems like the way to g.
Absolutely beautiful
I love the pink bedspread on the bottom bunk
Looks 👍 great😊
Love it!!
This configuration will suit them for years.😊
This reminds me of the get out of my room videos I used to watch😂 (I’m not hating I LOVED those videos)
Looks fantabulous.
Great job! Wow!❤

Lovely! Also plz show your other bedroom makeover for your 3rd daughter!
Turned out sooooo pretty! 😊
I love it! The loft gives each girl their own space
❤Beautiful bedroom! And I really love the look of the stairs vs. a ladder…really nice!❤
It turned out nice. Love that wallpaper! But the ceiling fan.
Cute room i like tge curtains color
i have the same exact comforter as your daughter, the one with the pom poms! I love this room, so cute!
That loft bed is so cool 😮

I love it....I had to share a room with my sister till I was 14
How do you make the bed? Looks squishy but really cute!
It looks like beddy bedding (sp?)
Love it so much ❤️
Beautiful!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
I love this!
Love the loft bed, aye the stairs draws? Otherwise it's a shame the space is lost but I like the stairs better then a ladder style.
Please get a cage fan or move it!
But I also love a good loft bed!
adorable!! 💞✨
It's giving... galvanized square steel.
Yeahhh
You and your husband are great parents, and your daughters ❤️ 💕 are just precious Angel's😇✨️and they are so beautiful, just the cutest.
This is so lovely!
I love it!
I think you should have put the two youngest in this room as the older one will really want her own space first!. It happened with my 3 nieces! So my sister had to remove everything!. Looks amazing tho xxxxxx
The middle would have to share with a baby, torture. Also the baby would probably be bullied a lot
@Prettyinpink3.0Toddlers don’t bully babies, tf you on about? And it’s torture for the oldest. Y’all hate women 😂
@palemeadows oh I thought they were older, and the 2 older children are probably close in age
Maybe the youngest isn't sleeping through the night. Especially as she's transitioning to a big girl bed. This way the two older ones can sleep while mom or dad take care of the baby in the middle of the night.
You know they can change that as their needs change?
Awww they looked so excited
ahh it’s so cute!
Nice room.
So cute ❤
i wish i had the room it’s so cute ❤❤😂
Looks really pretty, just be carefull with the fan, it looks pretty dangerous
Who cares what the internet thinks. The bedroom is cute and the girls love it. That’s all that matters ❤
