Another great comparo! Thank you for taking the time. I've got L'Ecorcheur in the mail and all your videos of it have me well prepped.
P.S. I think you're afraid of that Glitchzr knob! C'mon man! Glitchzr that shit up!

Damn, I’ve had my eye on the lecorcheur for some time. Now the brasier came out and I’m confused between the two. I have a music thing modular mini drive and knob technology Agni, bot very powerful yet super different distortion/feedback/monkey modules. I will add a third distortion module and it will be one of these two from sovage engineering. So, I’m basically looking for a monster deformed meteorite distortion module that takes the input source as far as it gets, think Doom like kinda vibe, which of the two would you recommend? Thanks!

I like them both for different reasons. I think you just kinda have to listen to each and see which strikes your fancy...

Hey, For your needs, you should go for L'ECORCHEUR - it's a no-mercy distortion filter. From the input to the output, your sound gets colored, even if you don't want it to! 😅 On the other hand, LE BRASIER does not color the sound aggressively (think NEVE preamp).
