This scene is so sad and somewhat ironic at the same time. During the first two seasons, Kimber was desperately trying to get Christian to fall in love with her; but he wasn't interested in settling down to be with just one woman. During season three, Christian slowly developed feelings for Kimber that was beyond just wanting Kimber for sex. It's so sad, how in this scene Christian was trying to convinced Kimber to not called off their engagement and he was willing to give up his job to be her, but Kimber decided to break up with him.
So after restoring her beauty that she believes is a curse, she repays him by dumping him? Christian should have stayed with her through her convalescence and restored their feelings instead of letting her wander off and get ensnared by $cientology.
I didn’t like how Christian fell in love with Michelle, during Season 4 where the relationship felt rushed for a an who has serious commitment issues with women.
@bryansipho : Christian 's personality got worse as well. Sean was right about how Christian and Kimber are the female and male version of the same person.
You know, I'm not a hardcore fan of the show, but from what I've seen, it seems like these two is his OTP (one true pairing), and I hope we get more drama in the following season! Thank you for your effort!
yet all the characters act like this never happened after the end of this season. The next time Kimber and Christian see each other is when he breaks down her door in season 4 and tells her to stay the hell away from Matt, and she blabs about how horrible he is and what he put her through... yet thats so not matching up with how she breaks up with him here.
At this point, Christian had moved on, and was able to see Kimber in a more objective light. When he heard that she got Matt into Scientology, he immediately knew what she was up to.
Their first encounter during Season 4, was more about discussing the day the met at the bar. Christian called Kimber out for being a hypocrite, where she suddenly was interested in sleeping with him when she found he works as a plastic surgeon. Then, Kimber was pointed out how Christian loved Kimber as his creation that he created after marking her imperfections with lipstick and giving her all her surgeries. From Kimber’s perspective, she felt that Christian didn’t love her for who she was as a person. Christian admitted to Kimber that he loved her during the time they were engaged, and he felt terrible about how they hurt each other emotionally/repeatedly in the past.
@@JokerCat9 I don’t think Christian had moved on completely…. I think he still had lingering feelings for Kimber where she was seen in the Gay sequence dream.
To be fair, she did clearly TRY to change. However, Kimber was sadly inherently weak, and the moment Christian came back into her life he triggered that weakness she had desperately tried to turn into strength, all over again. This happened many times, until eventually she was so alienated from herself in any capacity that didn't involve Christian, that her life became entirely void of meaning, joy and purpose.
I think this scene right here is the thing that killed the true love feelings that Christian had for Kimber, especially that she didn't actually change after that. After wards, he just saw her as a whore he posses and nothing more. I feel sorry for her, she should have changed for the better not the worse.
Every time Christian opens his heart.. someone tears it up and he goes rogue.. until Liz.
that episode was AMAZING.. and so sad at the same time

I really thought that Kimber had changed for the better. She just got worse!
In a way kimber was correct. This shouldve been her changing point but she went back to her old ways.

This was a really powerful scene.
