Thanks for this, Enphase is considered a software company by many in the investment arena, the bulk of the employee headcount are software engineers and programers. No one from the installer space spends more than a minute reviewing the software application from a user prospective.
My installer also enabled monitoring individual microinverter voltage input, voltage, current & power output plus individual microinverter temperature. Pretty useful information.
Dale, is "secret" and "hidden" just to attract viewers, or are there screens that the installer needs to enable or that require a special key press to see? Can users see all the data that installers can, or are there things that are restricted to the installer app? Thanks
Yes, “secret” is a bit clickbaity, but it’s true that there is info that you can only get with installer access. You get access to tracking history of voltage, current, power temperature etc of individual micros and a lot of fault finding information that can be useful if something’s not working. But if everything is working okay it’s a bit irrelevant and would go over the head of 90% of most home owners.
Hi Dale, the system you designed for us has been up & running for 2 months now. How do I configure Enphase batteries to export energy to the grid during peak hours manually? I don't want to use their AI optimization profile since their export rates are way off, which would lead to exporting at the wrong time of the day. I rather manually schedule the exporting based on ACC rates (Avoided Cost Calculator) published by SCE. Is it possible to do it manually? Thanks
If the export rates are off you may need to go into the submenu settings to reconfigure your utility rates. Open the Enphase App and navigate to Menu > Settings > Electricity Rate then follow the prompts accordingly. I couldn’t find a direct link for this on Enphase’s website but here is some helpful info: support.enphase.com/s/article/how-can-i-minimize-my-dependence-on-the-utility-grid-in-the-savings-profile
does the app update once batteries are commissioned? my app looks nothing like this all I see is the production Ive been waiting four months for my PTO and I was just recently approved. hoping to get more out of the app.
What’s required to have live status? My envoy is a ENV-S-WM-230 (Europe) running D5.0.62 firmware. The system uses 24 IQ7-60-2-NL micro’s. I don’t have batteries yet.
My new panels installed just Thursday were rocking along and then my enlighten app threw an error code with regard to the cloud. I've checked, and all the micro inverters are connected etc. and I reset the breaker on the enlighten panel outside but so far nothing. Any thoughts on how to reset the error?
If you have an error with the cloud it means the Envoy isn't connected to the internet. You'll need to go into the settings in your Enlighten app and follow the instructions to reconnect the unit.
I am scrolling over the 15 minute graph and when i hover it tell me production ,consumption etc. But why does it not match the information above under total consumption for each 15 minute interval.
Me too, i just wish this issue would have been discussed while my system was in design. Maybe some modifications could have been made during instalation at little or no additional cost.
I got no real data for over 24 hours, just basic production with the bar graphs. I called my installers Service Dept and by the time they got back to the next my app UPDATED itself and was showing solar production with the nifty graphics. I wish they had told me the app needs to collect data for at least a full day of production before it displays all that sexy data we all obsess over. But under GRID it says "IDLE". I'm guessing I will need some more CT's installed. I have requested a quote. About how much should that cost? I wish they had told me that upfront, I would have added that feature to my order, as I did for the Critter Guards. How often does the Array tab update?
The CTs for consumption monitoring actually come with the IQ Combiner 4/4C and 5/5C boxes. We install them as standard because it's part of the equipment/materials. Many installers just throw them away, each CT is ~$30.
Lot of variables to pricing like jurisdictional fees, installation parameters, and if you’re financing or paying cash. But you’d probable spend somewhere around $27,000 before federal tax credit and state rebates.
Pacific Sun Technologies is a privately owned corporation that has no outside investments, so I’m not sure who you invested in but it was not our organization.

You typically need the consumption CTs installed.
Hey been trying to reach you by phone to get a quote and your phone system after your general voice intro hangs up after the prompts.

I am not able to see the details of the grid information and the daily consumption on my dashboard and only shows the Production.

I have Live Status but not Live Vitals. How do i get that?
Live Vitals is only available if you have batteries. It’s located under the Menu -> Devices
App denied me to change some feature like change profile just 2weeks with the system operating
My installer couldn’t install CT’s due to panel size and access.
Any work around or option?

What would 4 Enphase 5Ps with the controller cost to install to an existing enphase array?

My sistem is set to 0 export but sometimes enligten tell my 0.4.…..1kw export. Why? Thank you! Sorry if my english is not very good.
I lose my phone didn't get my app on my new phone don't know how to get it back can you help me please
My app looks totally different ? 😢can someone explain
Not info for a new solar person. Must went over my head
No secret menu here, keep it moving. Clickbait
Where is the secret? ,
There’s a menu with sub menus
What the heck are those crazy sound effects add to your video? Very annoying…
Dude, this was pointless
Absolutely no hidden features, just a scroll through the menu that is available for all to see. Waste of time!
In my experience not many people know about the features.
Huge waste of time here
