yeah. I had my f800gs for about 4 months. the first trip off road, i could immediately tell it wasn't the bike for me. terrible suspension (non adjustable and non rebuildable), weak frame (i bent the cross tube twice before welding in a super enduro shock mount), and a non existent off-road aftermarket. i traded it for a 12' wr450 and couldnt be happier. the f800gs IS NOT an off-road bike by any means, until you modify the frame, graft on wp forks, and a linkage type swing arm...then it become the most well balance off road machine ever made. it couldv been soo much more, but bmw trashed it for "the masses"
it is! most versatile, very good fuel range, light, capable of real offroad!
F800GS best of the range!!
Good ad/marketing guys - makes me wish you were my dealer .... and have a BMW .... or close enough .... same country, even?

I want very much! The problem is that in my fucking country (Brazil), this motorcycle cost $ 21,000 (U.S. dollars).
