    best demo ever of how awesome just a 303 and 909 can sound, in the right hands it's all you need, less is more... thanx for the inspiration

    Thanks for this nugget of gold. I think I need to just sit on the couch with a drum machine and TB-03 for the weekend and try to build a bank of my own sequences together. I tend to use the default ones a lot and put them in the right key. Awesome stuff!

      Just see if you can try and make one pattern and get it to work. It will be very addictive, believe me. I’ll get in touch somewhere this week and we’ll go over it

      @@AnalogKitchen I got it yes. For £200. It took me a while to get it working. I had to reset it to factor settings so I could get it working with Ableton. I’m currently saving up for either the Komolete Kontrol mk3 or the Syntakt. I have just started making tracks and feel restricted using a mouse.

    I wasn't aware that the TB-03 can be programmed while it runs 🥳 That's fantastic. I am so used to the TB-303 after 25 years of making music with it. Will totally try this feature on my TB-03 🖖🏻 Steplengths of 3 or 5 patterns never disappoint, right? ☃️

    Dope walkthrough as always, Sir. Question: What do you run into your Octatrack or mixer in stereo vs. mono? Obviously, not the mono synths, but I'm curious about the Micromosta, samples on the Octatrack, Juno, MPC and so on?

    • @AnalogKitchen
      @AnalogKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Philip, most of the stuff that can be run stereo I'll run it. I only have the Micro and Tetra be stereo though. Much else will be turned stereo by adding reverb or delay to it. The octa samples (check out my packs for the octa) are stereo.

    Hi. great video!
    I was really interested in all the different patterns you had on the TR-909. Seems as if you had different patterns for different intensity levels and different parts of the song. Could you explain how you go about making these patterns? if you haven't already. I find my self just using one pattern and muting and unmuting things to increase the intensity level and etc. I'd love to see your thought process on the topic and how you build patterns to increase the groove or decrease the groove.
    Also, what headphones are you using?

    • @AnalogKitchen
