Jack won convincingly . Commentary was a joke glazing over josh for walking foward, josh did better but he won 4 rounds at the absolute most. Can’t give people rounds for walking forward when the other guy on the back foot is lighting him up with the bigger shots. Before that fossil Bob Arum criticises British judges, he should take a look at some of Adalaide Byrd's scorecards, particularly the 118-110 in the first Golovkin v Alvarez fight, which I thought Golovkin won.
That was the worst card of all time. When that was announced I genuinely thought she had got the 2 fighters mixed up.

Definitely a Catterall win, watched it without commentary, the jab and follow up hooks were hammering Taylor. Catterall tired a bit more than Josh, but 100% a win by a few rounds at least. Got harder to score as fight went on. Good fight all the same, let’s focus on that.
Lomachenko was robbed 3 times (Salido and Haney unquestionably) by american judges and Bob didn't say anything.

Bob's words highlight the difference between British and American judging and the change in scoring over the decades. In the US, and in years gone by, aggression is scored higher than Britain. Josh was on the front foot for most of the fight and in Bob's eyes should have been scored higher.
I don't agree with him that Josh won, he didn't, but 117 to 111 was way off the mark, and i can see why he was annoyed.

10 point must system is something some don't understand. It doesn't matter how big you win a round if numerically the other guy wins more rounds that might be closer. You still lose. Direction of motion means nothing. Its how effective you are.
Direction of motion does mean something in terms of ring generalship which is high in the scoring criteria. But it doesn’t matter more in terms of clean punches and Jack was the right winner tonight.
At thirty he should be looking for a world championship match-up
