Reaction to the Original MV here: th-cam.com/video/r8ZI1Y2vEc8/w-d-xo.html
OK! Just a little PSA: there is nothing here but admiration and respect for these artists. I don't like labeling music based on country/race so I love that JK isn't considered "KPop." ARMY has the right attitude about breaking free of labels - it's all music and art to me. Usher is a legend for my whole life so I am not going to apologize for being excited and amazed about this. Finally, Jung Kook is obviously an amazing, talented artist and I would love to see the original MV/more of his work. Me not knowing about him isn't meant to be a sign of disrespect. I made this channel to learn about and talk about music so let's do that!
Please DO react to the original MV for Standing Next To You. You might also want to check out the impromptu Live at Times Square on the TSX stage late last year. Jung Kook and his backup dancers (who are all well known choreographers and dancers) performed 5 songs off Jung Kook's first solo album "Golden" that came out in November which is all in English. Jung Kook has been the Main Vocalist of BTS since their debut in 2013. BTS has been the biggest boy group in the world since about 2017, 2018 or so. Jung Kook is pretty amazing in his own right. As of December 12th 2023, all 7 members are enlisted in S. Korea's mandatory military service and all will be out by June 2025 and have already signed contracts with their company. Honestly, it's really sad that Jung Kook really started to make it big as a Global Pop Star just before he had to enlist. He also did a collab/remix with Justin Timberlake for his song 3D, for which the original collab was with Jack Harlow. His first song released in 2023 was "Seven (ft. Latto)" and it has gone Platinum.
I subscribed immediately because of your respectful attitude. Thanks! If somebody who calls his/herself Army offended you, I hope you don't think we, real Armys, are all the same, because we aren't. We expect just sincerity (and respect) from the reactors. You did it! Hope you keep digging not just in JK's rabbit hole (it is worth it!), but in BTS', too. I'm 66, a lover of good music, an open-minded woman who, until three years ago, was frustrated with the bad quality of songs currently. BTS came to save my soul hehehe. I met them during the pandemic. Less than ten songs were enough to fall in love with them! Never before I'd taken part in a fandom, today I'm a proud Army
@@silviamunoz6863 hi! Nobody offended me, but I seem to have rubbed a few people the wrong way. My first journey outside of Western metal/hip hop was Blackpink and as a blink trust me I know about being part of a fandom that has a certain reputation! Just like I don't want people judging BLACKPINK or all blinks because of some "fans," I would never do that to another fan base! I am definitely going to watch the original MV for this and I look forward to learning more about JK and BTS! Thank you for watching and for your kind words! ❤️
@@silviamunoz6863 Agree with all. I was going to say I'm same age as you and also found during pandemic, but I just turned a year older. lol
I watched the video after reading your a little PSA. I thought your reaction was a bit extreme. But not at all. You are a person who basically has great respect for artists. Your announcement makes me feel how serious you are and the deep respect you have for music. ^^ Thank you. I enjoyed your reaction.
Usher liked this song so much that he added it on his next album. BTS members are awesome and they are doing amazing collabs with their favorite artists.. JK with Usher / JHope with JCole .. and there's a talk about a RM and Pharrell collab.
Nice reaction!
Oh that's very cool! I can tell from this video Usher was having FUN! They seemed to have great chemistry as opposed to just "working together" so I really loved this. JK is obviously super talented and artists recognize artists. Thank you for sharing and of course for watching!
I will not be surprised at all if that RM:Pharrell collab happens one day.
@@ChainReactionsChannelI'm a proud 42 year old army (BTS fandom). I grew up listening to rock, jazz, pop, R&B but I don't remember being an actual fan of any artist before. BTS is just another level. They kept themselves humble and truly are grateful for their fans. By the way all the members write and/or produce their music (but in his solo album Golden, JK did not write any songs but he does have songs that he wrote and/or produce).
Their songs are not the "usual pop stuff". They talk about self love, mental health, self improvement and more. And they go through a lot of genres (ballad, hip hop, rap, r&b, latin pop..)
If you would like songs recomendations, Army will gladly help you.

Jungkook performed TSX stage in NY, just the second artist there - 5 his songs. Bytheway kpop is industry, you can think Hollywood or American-pop.... lots of genres and different types of performers and if there are few legends that dont mean whole industry is😅.
JK is main vocalist of BTS and BTS are 7 individual, talent, different type of artists. They have 300+ (400?) songs includes solos, different units, mixtapes, singles, soloalbums, collabs, japanese/english songs... own variety shows, behind and making MVs, dancepractis videos, awardshows, live... They have been involved their music since begining which was/still is quite rare in k-pop. BTS has filled stadiums all over the world (even full 4 conserts in LA Sofi stadium). Sorry my english and greetings from the north edge of Europe
lol I didn't realize he was from BTS when I recorded it!
Yes I understand KPop is a very broad term - I just mean that most of the West doesn't know much about it but we should! That's what this channel is all about!
Those BTS numbers are crazy!
The group has been growing from heavy old school HipHop oriented to more popular easy listening stuffs, without losing their color.
So Jungkook aka Golden Maknae (golden youngest) he is the jack of all trades. Black belt Teakwondo, Paints, Draws, Runs track, boxing, plays drum, gitar, dances, raps, loves editing and makes his own video's GCF (golden closet films)
He joined BTS when he was very young 13 years old and debuted with BTS at the age of 15.
His bandmembers raised him and he has a part of all their personalities in him. He is a very dangerously talented Artist when he comes back from the military. Music industry better beware.
His 6 fellow bandmembers are all Aces to. Have a nice journey one this one, its gonna be a hell of a Beautifull ride 🔥🔥💜💜
Oh wow that's too many talents he needs to share some! 😅 Very impressive, I could already see his singing and dancing and charisma but all that creativity and athleticism too? That's why he's a star!
@@ChainReactionsChannel Oh he is a mega star and his members to 👌👌💜💜
And JK can cook well too.
@@julieharris4700 haha of course he can! People that are good at everything are ... good at everything (unfair 😅) Thank you for watching and sharing!
@@ChainReactionsChannelAll of the BTS members have multiple “hidden” talents beyond singing/rapping and dancing, but Jungkook takes the cake by far. I am in awe of him.
I'm 43. My first concert ever was Boyz II Men. :p MOST of BTS ARMY are 25 and over. All seven members are currently between 26 and 31.
You pronounced his name correctly :) you can also just call him JK. He actually flew to LA for like 2 days to do this remix performance stage and he and Usher also did a "Yeah" dance challenge. The official MV for this is KILLER and JK also did a surprise 5 song concert on the TSX stage in New York time square where you can hear his live vocals and see the full choreography (at the same time!)
Justin Timberlake also did a remix of JK's song "3D"
All his ink is real. He also has a ton of piercings... 6 in his right ear and 3 (I think) in his left. He had two lip rings on the lower right as well, but he had to remove all of his piercings to prepare for his military service. All seven members of BTS are currently doing their mandatory military service; they'll be back as a full group in June of 2025.
If it is on the official channel, bangtantv or HYBE Official, you know it's legitimate.
Hi! I had no idea what bangtan TV is so that's why I wasn't sure if it was real but I saw the # of views so I figured it might be lol! But I'm glad I did. Someone else mentioned the dance challenge - I saw that and it's amazing 🤩. I am going to check out the MV too, I can tell the song is 🔥 even without the epic remix! Thank you for watching and giving info - I always appreciate that!
@@ChainReactionsChannel BTS means Bangtan Seonyondan (bulletproof boyscouts) and bangtantv is their youtube channel. Jungkook is a member of BTS and all 7 members have released their solo work in preparation to their required military service. You should check it out Jimin - Like Crazy, Suga - Haegeum, V - Slow Dancing, Jin - Astronaut (with Coldplay), j-hope 'on the street (with J. Cole) and RM - Still Life (with Anderson .Paak) and there's also loads of great BTS songs too mic drop, fire, spring day (300+ songs catalog)
Please check out the original MV! It is somewhat different from this remix. Also, Jungkook has "3D" featuring Jack Harlow (also Justin Timberlake did a remix of it!!!!) and "Seven" featuring Latto! His entire album called "Golden" is in English and JK worked really hard to get the English pronunciation correct. The tattoo sleeve is absolutely real! Also, JK is from BTS and all seven members are now in the South Korean military as required by law. They will all reunite in 2025 for an epic comeback!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I would love to check out the original. As much as I enjoyed seeing/hearing Usher, I can tell this song has to be fire on it's own too! All seven at the same time must be hard for ARMY I'm sorry but yes I hope they all come back safe/soon as possible!
@@ChainReactionsChannelthey actually staggered their enlistments & the oldest member (& first to enlist) is due out of military in June this year. Next will return in October the last 5 all return in June 2025. ARMY are waiting patiently, well patiently for us 😂
@@tracybrunner863 oh I see. At least the time they're all enlisted at the same time is relatively short! I'm sure it must still be stressful or concerning for ARMYs ❤️
@@ChainReactionsChannelwe really trust the boys. It was really stressful as each left to join. We just want them to be safe and healthy. they left us so much to enjoy while they are away. Please react to all the members. I think you will be happy surprised. Army can be very protective of BTS but if you get to know their history you will understand why.
They call him US-HER-RA-YM-OND. As a day one Usher fan, he is the only reason I listened to this remix. You can obviously see that he is a seasoned performer. I got an opportunity to see him in Las Vegas at his residency and was mesmerized by the performance he gave. A true entertainer. This music video is amazing and so much fun to watch. You can see the mutual respect that both these men have for one another. I also send a shout out to JK and his dancers for doing an amazing job. Also, I love love love your reaction..
Yes! I grew up with Usher as a generational superstar so this is just so cool to me. People like you and me watching this video is exactly WHY this is amazing. Usher is a legend who has been around for a long time, so that tells me the level of respect he must have for Jung Kook as an artist. I think that's beautiful!
Thank you for watching! So cool!
I don’t know if you have seen it, but there is a video when JK was younger and the interviewer asked the guys (BTS) who their inspirations growing up were and his immediate answer was “Usher”, so this was probably ly a surreal moment in JK’s life. I love that they didn’t have them do the choreography exactly the same. I hope you will take the time to watch the original video. JK is an amazing young man and talent. I call him my Korean grandson. LOL
@@Imme_begin haha, that's cute! Yes I am very interested in the official MV, stay tuned!
@@Imme_beginI bet JK was in awe when he knew of the collab! I imagine something similar to eyes when he saw Brian Puspos among the team of dancers 🤣
Nah I always knew you were a real one, but when you said “spin that chain” that solidified it lol. Real ones know that Usher spinning his “U” chain is his signature 😂. I’m not into BTS but I couldn’t deny the greatness of this song even before Usher hopped on. Him being on the track and then this video just elevated everything, HE STILL GOT IT. Shoutout to JK for even wanting him on it
Haha hey! I have to check out the original song/MV because this is 🔥. I honestly saw Usher remix and I had to check it out. I think this is so cool and it's awesome to see him do this! For real shout out to Jung Kook I am really impressed. Embodied that old school vibe and attitude plus those smooth moves? I think I might've offended some Army with my comments lol so maybe I'll have to check out the original without making a video lmao. 😅
JK is on video saying Usher was his inspiration growing up…this was several years ago, so I’m sure he was excited and maybe in a little shock.
People MY age would recognized that U chain spin 🤗
Here's the thing, Sir. ARMY (BTS fans) have a pretty legit radar on who's for real and who's there for clout hohoho. And I can see you being honest, obviously ARMY will, too. We're quite protective of the boys due to the history of them being bullied in the west. So sorry if you ever encounter some bad comments from ARMY (hope you never).
One if the dancers, Ian Eastwood (legend in his own right as a dancer) said he and JK we’re just looking at each other when usher came in like “is this real?!” JK was definitely Fangirling
@@TiffKeiller soooo dope 🥰. I’m glad he was able to give Usher his flowers in a way and still be able to work with one of his inspirations. Just a dope collab all around
Yup this is the official performance video. Both Usher and JK even filmed tiktok dance challenge together. One for this song and another one for Usher's yeah!.
The original version got 2 mvs; normal one with storyline and the choreography version.
Oh they did "yeah!"?? that's so cool I love that I'll have to look that up. I think I'm definitely going to check out the MV of this - curious what the full/original vision was! Thank you for watching and sharing this info!
I truly enjoyed your reaction .. thanks for giving this a chance - as ARMY we are so proud of Jungkook - you will love the original of this MV for sure ! And this remix is indeed amazing !
Yes, I am definitely going to check out the original, and I might make a reaction for it too. I'm glad you enjoyed and I'm glad to have you here with me!
Nice reaction! You will be surprised to learn that the members of BTS have collaborated with many well known western artists like J Cole, Warren G, Juice World, Becky G, Latto, Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu, Anderson Paak, and many more. Have fun searching!
Of all reactions, I find you're so real. Just thinking the beginning instrumentation reminds me of Steely Dan's Deacon Blues. The tempo on this track is fast and the chords are similar. At 65, this is at the top of my playlist.
Thank you I appreciate that! I really enjoyed this, and I just posted my reaction to the original which I won't spoil but I think you can guess how I felt about it!
I think it was so cool to see this when it came out cause Usher was my favorite artist as a teenager, and now BTS is my favorite artist, so it's my two words colliding. It's amazing and unreal to see Usher and Jungkook together. ❤
I agree this was super cool and I'm very glad I came across it!!
IMO you were very respectfull. It's not a crime not knowing an artist, and you (and we) are here basically to know new music. I love Usher, and as baby Army (42 years old 😅) I love JK and stan all of the members of BTS, and for me, this colaboration was EPIC. I like original a lot too, but this one for the meaning as you said made me soooo happy... Nice reaction. Greetings from Spain (sorry for my poor english) 💜
I have to watch the original, I know it's going to be great! Your English is amazing by the way, far better than my attempts to correctly pronounce Korean names! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts!
@@ChainReactionsChannel You nice. Keep going (Jimin of BTS dixit 🥰)
This JK Usher combo is fantastic!!! Can´t stop dancing since day one. Amazing performers. My 50 yo soul remembering Disco funky nights.
Not sure I would call it crazy for Jungkook who was one of 2023's biggest pop artists and who comes from BTS, a group which for years has maintained the highest group sales and popularity in the world, to pair with Usher. Jungkook is a HYBE artist and Usher is managed by Scooter Braun who is chairman of HYBE America. Jungkook released this retro Michael Jackson homage and Usher is famed for his Michael-esque presentation. The only thing I would acknowledge as "crazy' is the generational difference of the two giants. Korea does place enormous value on respecting one's elders. But Usher seems to have so much fun he is including the remix of Jungkook's song on his upcoming album.
I didn't say anything bad or disrespectful about Jung Kook or BTS just so we're clear. It's crazy because things like this are new and artists like Usher aren't crossing over very often. And BTS might be huge but there are still a lot of assumptions and judgements people in the west place on them and KPop generally. I'm glad they're changing that.
Saying this is crazy (which I specified multiple times that I mean in a good way) is accurate because most Usher fans probably don't listen to KPop or BTS but a collab like this is great and might make more people give it a chance.
@@ChainReactionsChannel Jungkook released pop album not kpop album.
@@bee12117 fair enough! I don't love labeling genres, music is music. I just try to use the terms everyone else is using lol. Everything is global if it's popular enough and I can see he is!
I never said you were disrespectful. I just felt Western reticence to engage K Pop in certain quarters might have been a measuring stick of how impactful JK was.
K Pop in uninformed Western eyes is a stereotyped box of artists. If this filter is used, understanding BTS is impossible. BTS is a multigenre set of artists only marginally tied to the corporate culture of Idol music. BTS rose from ground level outside the established corporate/media dominance of 3 companies to now financially represent just over 50 percent of Korea's popular music output. This rise was in large measure based on global appreciation of the group, something which distinguished them from the pack. BTS was able to play sold out world tours at football stadiums in Western counties including shows at Wembley. Their tiny essentially one artist company (now rebranded as HYBE) grew on BTS's backs into Korea's largest. Now the firm is integrating major American artists including Scooter Braun's whole stable of artists.
Jungkook as BTS's lead singer actually has been a familiar commodity in the West to those individuals who have chosen to engage the music attached to him. But like with all genres, those who for whatever reasons do not engage won't be privy to what is going on. A few years ago, one could have found JK on the cover of Time magazine, a Western periodical, when BTS was declared Entertainer of the Year. But that honor just as easily could have slipped right by those who were not "entertaining" that kind of music. That does not mean BTS wasn't big enough in the West to receive the year end cover. Just means the growing circle hadn't grown to encompass many people. There is nothing to say who will fall down the rabbit hole.
Many won't ever engage BTS. But BTS's Western presence in my mind should be measured those who do. Just as your city can have a team with a large pool of fans, the measure of that teams is not all the people who are not engaged to that team. The actual fandom is enough to make the team's activities significant.
P.S. JK solo collabs with Western artists include Charlie Puth, Latto, Jack Harlow, Sean Mendes, Ed Sheeran and of course Usher in the past year or so. The BTS list is way lengthy but includes many top tier artists such as Nikki Minaj, Snoop Dog, Meghan the Stallion, Cold Play, Steve Aoki, Jason De Rulo, Juice World, Halsey and many more.
@@ericweinman9447 Got it - I just don't want people to think I am being rude or dismissive, that's not what this channel is about. For what it's worth, I blame the Western audience for not being open to new things - xenophobia or other narrow-minded attitudes are not JK, BTS, or any eastern artist's fault. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough about that!
I love the success story, it's extremely impressive, just as JK has really impressed me here!
Thank you for sharing this information, I am absolutely always open to learning and making sure I have my information right!
Usher was a great choice for this collab! I feel that sometimes when singers are already established and successful, they use collabs as mere adverts and don't put much effort in them, but I feel Usher really came through with a quality performance fit for the song. JK (and all the BTS members) are hard workers and push their performances to perfection so if usher half assed this collab... It would show! I was not disappointed, lots of respect for both BTS and Usher 💜 thanks for the video!
exactly! I loved how much fun Usher was having - the way he was moving and adding his own flair, laughing and touching JK. Like old friends I thought it was beautiful to see. And like you said, that shows that Usher recognizes JK's talent. Usher didn't need to do this, he wanted to! So so cool. Thank you for watching!
I don't think Usher has ever half assed anything in his life!
That old school charisma & work ethic which American music used to have has literally been resurrected by BTS and the K-pop industry.
@@djlivvy46 absolutely. My interest and appreciation for non Western music is largely because it reminds me of the sounds, vibes, attitude, fashion, and work ethic from when western music was the best. Usher comes from that era which I think makes him a great inspiration for artists like JK and a great collaborative partner!
@@ChainReactionsChannel - I used to be absolutely obsessed by music back in the day, but I felt as though I was wandering in the desert for about 2 decades. It was only dance (EDM) and rock music that saved me.
When I discovered BTS in 2019, it literally felt like a Wizard Of Oz moment. 💜
@@djlivvy46 one day I might make a post or video about this but I similarly fell out of love with most music until I stumbled across eastern music like KPop, XG and all of the awesome groups and artists I've covered here, now including Jung Kook. I completely understand what you're describing.
Anyone who works with our Kookie has nothing but praise for him. He is known to have perfect pitch and the most stable voice for dancing and singing live in the whole Korean music industry. Looking forward to more reactions to Jungkook and BTS in general. 💜💜💜

The word “crazy” is often used as a term of amazement and excitement. A word to express extreme joy. I saw a comment interpreting the word with the idea that it had a negative connotation, so I just wanted to clarify for those not familiar with American slang :)
@ChainReactions , I honestly can’t get enough of this song ( even at work which I’m a a Critical Care, Nurse) . Music and competition dancing have always been a part of our lives. I’ve seen Usher several times he’s amazing. Jung Kook of BTS and lead singer who I admire very much and see going very far. Usher was influenced by Gospel R&B and MJ . So I enjoy most music A LOT, can’t wait to continue you!👍🔥💃👠🎶🇮🇹🇺🇸🪘🥁🎷🎯
Thank you for reacting to this. What's even crazier to think about is that JK is 26 years old and Usher is 45 years old yet you can't even see it. Jungkook is the youngest of BTS and is currently enlisted in the military in South Korea and will not be back till 2025. Before leaving he released his solo album called "GOLDEN" and did some collaborations with other artist. The tattoos are very real by the way. JK was only 13 years old when he joined BTS and was raised by them so I personally say he is the manifestation of his brothers and JK has said it himself as well.
BTS is world known and definitely not like any other group. The group consists of 3 rappers and 4 vocalist. Their music includes a wide range of genres. Knowing their story help you understand more about them for sure and their music because they write their own songs and there is always a message behind it. If you have any questions about them, don't hesitate to ask ARMY (name of the fandom). We are very protective of all 7 members/brothers and I am sure you have seen that by now. It goes back to their beginning. BTS is also very protective of ARMY. We have a beautiful relationship. BTS debuted in 2013 and just celebrated their 10 year anniversary last year. All 7 members lived together up until 2020/2021 and they consider themselves a family so we see them as brothers. Their bond is like nothing we have ever seen in any group ever. All 7 are enlisted in the military due to mandatory service that South Korea has for all men.

Loved your reaction. If you love funk horns then definitely check out the original mv.🔥🔥 Visuals are amazing and based off of Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet.
Jungkook's whole album Golden explores different time periods and genres. This is the title track and this style suits him.
He does UK Garage with Seven. And a 2000's throw back 3D that is remixed with Justin Timberlake. (I prefer the live performance video over the actual mv, shows more of who JK is💜)
What I love so much about JK is his dancing style. (His voice is a given💜)This mv has some famous background dancers/choreographers and is choreographed by Keone Madrid and Shay Latukolan. Very very well known. I miss these kind of all around performers we had growing up. The MJ torch has been passed from Usher on.

Check out Jung Kook's original music video -- and the separate choreo video with Jung Kook. He's incredible and his vocals are jaw-dropping! Keep in mind that JK started with BTS when he was 15 and he's now 26. He's on fire!!
As an ARMY w/a tat inspired by Usher I damn near died when this happened. Like I almost had to take a U-Turn & Fly To My Room for a permanent Bedtime on a Spring Day.
I personally love this song! JUNGKOOK meshes seamlessly with Usher such an amazing artist from my youthful innocence 😅 I love JungKook ❤he's a true inspiration well this song is❤🎉🎉🎉
What you said about respect and admiration, letting the featuring artist have the spotlight was making me think of J-Hope's song "On the street ' feat. J-Cole" .
He is JK's fellow member of BTS. He admires J.Cole for over 10 years. 😊
I'm like a proud MAMA when I see Kookie THRIVING like this!
Really? You’re upset because he is gushing over Usher? So what? We live in a world where people can react to a music performance however they want, that’s his prerogative. Usher ate on this track and that’s just a fact.. can’t wait for the Super Bowl halftime performance. It’s going to be 🔥… Congrats to Usher, his body of work is f***ing amazing. The longevity, dancing and quality of bangers is second to none. He needs no affirmation from anyone… It will be like attending a concert where you also get to watch a football game 😀😀.
The weird part for me is that I did show appreciation for Jung Kook and recognized his talent and smoothness. Good thing JK isn't as insecure as some fans or he wouldn't have done this remix with Usher at all.
What??! Of course all the members of BTS know Usher!!!!They have learned from his dances, grew up with his music, love his music. One of the BTS members (Jimin) idolizes Usher so much. JK's tattoo is real (though Korea don't care for tattoos. JK had to cover them up, but now he freely exposes his tattoos. Jungkook and his band mates are very knowledgable about Western music. Yes, JK is showing homage to Usher by showcasing him a lot.
When you said “Oh Sh*t, it’s real” I couldn’t help but laugh! I hope you will react to JungKook’s original of this song. It is the title track off of his debut album. Less than 1.5 months after it dropped, he was in the military.
Jungkook’s song, “3D” I as also remixed with Justin Timberlake (audio only)
Haha I really started recording this thinking it would be some fan edit or something that I would just never post. Then I got caught up in JK's performance and forget why I was there originally, and when he appeared I was shocked all over again haha!
I definitely do want to check out the MV I am interested in the original vision for this because he is clearly talented so I don't want to miss that!
@@ChainReactionsChannelThat's a fair assumption, though. There's some crazy edited videos out there for BTS, so I'm always cautious when I see something dubious. I'm glad it was a nice surprise for you. I hope no one's being rude to you in the comments. 💜💜
@@purpleskiesforever haha not rude, just very passionate and overprotective. I was a BLINK and an ALPHAZ before I started this channel though so I understand strong and defensive fanbases pretty well - I know most of it comes from a place of love so as long as people are patient and there's no toxicity, I welcome strong opinions!!
@@ChainReactionsChannel so you're not really unfamiliar to kpop, probably more YG stan...I hope you give BTS a chance, Army can be dedicated and protective to know why maybe you can watch a BTS Taylor Mari Guide. They were from a very small almost bankrupt company and wrote their songs that many people resonated with. They are hard working and really against all odds. With success of BTS come Hybe and all the artists in the label.
@@jimin585 I do love BLACKPINK but I have ended up covering more SM groups actually! I'm open to whatever though, I love the groups I love but I don't really do the "stan" thing in terms of liking a group and not being open to other stuff if that makes sense. I don't care what label a group or artist is from, talent is talent!
Yes, his tattoos are real😂 JK is a member of BTS. They collaborated as a group and as a solo artist with western artists.
Coldplay, Fall out boy, Halsey, Steve Aoki, Nicki Minaj, Benny Blanco, Snoop Dogg, Juice WRLD, Megan Thee Stallion, Erykah Badu, Justin Timberlake and more.
BTS really put kpop on a world map.
You don't need to cover it with that star. BigHit/HYBE allow reactions their rule being you have to start at the beginning of the MV so their BigHit label come's up and not mess around with the MV.
Jungkook's group BTS have paid homage to Usher previously within the lyrics of their song Butter. The lyrics " Don't need no Usher to remind me You got it bad".
I love this remix but I love more the original vedio.❤
I have to check that out - I can tell the song is good even without the remix! Thank you for watching!
If you get into BTS I’ll think about coming back to subscribe but yup I loved your reaction 😂😂 Jungkook the golden maknae 💜💜
Well I know for sure I want to see the original MV for this soon! I mainly check things out based on recommendations/requests from viewers/subscribers and I did gain a bunch of new people from this video who are suggesting things so I suspect this won't be the end!
Well our men of BTS are based in HipHop and R & B and will use whatever genre they fancy and mix them in any way they fancy.
Awesome! Even if you don't officially react to it, there's a "making of" for this video if you enjoy seeing them vibing :) They were really interacting together, so cool to see.
Very much enjoyed the joy you showed watching this MV!😊 It's just so cool that Usher wanted to do this colab with JK! I think it seems as though you're not familiar with Jung Kook. I know others have already recommended that you watch the original MV of the song. I think you would really like it considering that you seem to appreciate dancing. JK has some really fantastic, well known choreographers and dancers with him, and the dancing is awesome!
Hope to see you again soon😊💜
Also, I just looked through some of your past reactions and I see that you like rap. Well, BTS have three rappers who are off the wall great. Check out some of their rap songs. I think you'll be impressed.
Standing next to you MV reaction coming tomorrow and then we'll see what people want! Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the reaction, love the box of the future you editing hahah…. As army we really appreciate honest reactions, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for your support. I hope to learn more!
BTS & Usher met at the Grammy's because one of Usher's children is a fan of BTS. That was the beginning. Usher 45. Jungkook 25. In a business where K-pop artist's fade away early this must give Jungkook hope of a long, fruitful career.
I'll be honest. Wasn't aware of Usher before this collab (I'm old, got into K-Pop because DT and pandemic demanded solace). I'm catching up with Usher's body of work now.
I loved your review too. I hope you continue to look into JK and also into BTS and the other members' solo work. They have 10 years worth of material in so many musical genres. You will not be sorry. They have also been the inspiration for a lot of the younger KPop bands that you have liked. Subscribing in the hope of seeing more in the future - I'm only baby Army too - found BTS about 2 months ago and am still exploring their catalogue.
Loved it. You felt like I did when I heard about Usher being on this with JK. Mixing my old school love of Usher with my (fairly) newer love of BTS. I’d love to see you do more of JK, BTS and other members. They’re all insanely talented and JK is the baby of the group. He had amazing influences growing up with the others. You see bits of them in him, but also his individual style that’s evolved over ten years. Truly a treat for any music lover willing to give them the time.
It's too bad not everyone seems to understand how cool this collaboration is - people think I'm wrong to celebrate Usher and say this is epic. JK agrees with you and me I'm sure, that's why he wanted Usher involved! To be able to work with someone you look up to, who inspired you, is a dream come true for so many artists that some stans might not understand. It works both ways of course because Usher wouldn't have done this unless he liked the song and respected JK/knew how talented he is. It's just a beautiful thing. I do have to check out the original MV to see JKs full performance/vision for this and I can't wait to learn more.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!!
@@ChainReactionsChannel agreed! You should also look for the J-Hope/J-Cole collab, if you haven’t. J-Hope is also BTS and as his name suggests, a fan of J-Cole. So getting that collab was a dream for him! Totally different vibe than this!
Jungkook is magical vocalist and a rapper too who is above the level of kpop and his first debute album is Golden. Please listen to Golden album. More good songs are there
It really is unbelievable 😳 💜💜💜💜💜
So good I'm so happy it got suggested to me!
I haven't heard any of your reactions before and I enjoyed it very much. Thank You. Of course, Usher, BTS and the members are well-known to me. They are seven aamzingly talented young men who work so well together. They are not like a boy band but more like 7 loyal talented brothers who have a range of different talents and some common ones which together make BTS a global supergroup and who independently make amazing music. I'm from a really wet and windy UK. Floods everywhere. I was in a shop where a visitor from the USA commented on how pretty all the lakes are in the area. The shop assistant told her they weren't lakes but flooded farmers fields!
There will always be music you love from BTS /members they are so diverse.
Catch you next time.
Jk. No BTS 🙄
@@messibts1612 Sorry, I don't understand your reply. JK is a solo artist as is all the members of BTS and together they make BTS.
Thank you! I'm glad to have you here. Looking forward to more!
You should check out his band mate J-Hope's video with J-Cole 🥰. Or his other bandmate RM's music with Andersen Paak or Erykah Badu. Or his other bandmate Suga's feature with Halsey. or His other bandmate Jin's music with Coldplay. Or his other bandmate Jimin's feature on the Fast X soundtrack. Or his other bandmate V's feature with Umi .....Or just checkout more BTS as a group or each members solo work 😁
You don't have to apologize for your real reaction. I don't think you disrespected anyone. I'm an Army (BTS fan) and it took me time to realize how awesome BTS is!!! Don't let the bad comments stop you from learning about JK or BTS. It's definitely worth the journey!!! I see you reacted to Suga (BTS) with Halsey also. Check out their live performances. Amazed balls!!! HAHAHAHA
I won't lie, some ARMY have had very weird and unpleasant responses to this. However as a Blink I know what it's like to be judged for a small part of the fandom so I am trying to just appreciate the welcoming and kind ARMYs who are being very cool. ❤️
Thanks for your reaction! JK admires Usher a lot. It's so fabulous he got to dance with one of his idols! I love this "remix" because of its importance in music history, but I confess that I prefer the original 🙂
I would love to see you reacting to the MV and his live performances (he's better live, like BTS): those I like the most are Iheartradio and Times Square.
Mostly i am jungkook sran than kpop.the reason kpop usess technology toncreate idols but jungkook is a pure singer more than normal kpop idols and above the level of them
bts members have collaborative with many artists of the Us from Nle,Jack h , coldplay, halsey
Very cool, I love that!
Well that's is our Jungkook from the biggest global super group on the planet oh and they never lipsync. Oh course it's real. Jungkook is a global superstar along with the rest of members of BTS.
Never lip-sync...hard to swallow...
@@EverRoxas They never lip-sync when doing a live eg concert, award show or TV appearance. Even with hard dance routines if they feel they are not going to be able to hit a note they simply don't sing it and you'll hear just the music and maybe their heavy breathing into their mic's. They have been know especially the Rappers to suddenly hold a mic down and not say anything just to prove they are not lip syncing. You hear if they make a bum note because they pride themselves in singing/rapping live no matter how hard their dancing might be. They had a habit of Practicing singing while on treadmills. They are extremely fit and why Jin and J Hope are doing so well in the military not just to the fact they pass on the shooting range, their high level of leadership skills and high intelligence all BTS have at least a BA degree the 4 older one's also have their Master's degrees but due to their extremely fitness levels.
That was fucking insane. I grew up with usher too. And I’m not big on BTS (you know where my neo green heart belongs lol) but do love their rap heav tracks. But seeing this I have to give Jungkooks solo stuff another chance.
Right?? Usher brought me here and I am thankful - now I know I have to see what else Junk Kook has done because this whole thing was incredible! I'll be covering the original version of this soon and then we'll see what comes after! 🔥❤️
Thanks for your reaction. This song is such a vibe and I love the Jung kook/Usher dynamics. JK has collaborated with other American artists on some of his songs, but truthfully I don’t think they really added much. Usher was different. You may not realize it yet, but you are going to be flooded with suggestions from Army regarding BTS solo and group songs. We’re a determined bunch, but go at your own pace. 👍
If you’ve never explored BTS music, you are in for a real treat! They’ve been around for 10 years and are just starting to really seep into mainstream America. They’ve been nominated for Grammys and have won billboard awards and still there are many many Americans who don’t know who they are, so don’t feel bad. But all over the world they are huge! There won’t be any new music for a while because they’ve all gone into the military to do their mandatory service, but they’ll be back, and in the meantime, there are so many songs and videos to explore. You won’t be disappointed.
I enjoyed your reaction...JK and the dancers (amazing choreographers among them) were thrilled to be dancing with Usher. I''m a 72 yr old BTS ARMY, 6 years. It's never too late to appreciate great music. I love this collab! With all 7 BTS members now serving in the military, it was so great of them to leave us with amazing solo work until they return.
Yeah this is great, can't wait to check out more. Thanks for watching!
FOREVER WITH JK 🌿
Please watch the official music video, the choreography and the performance at the ihop radio…it’s all dope!! Jungkook is the Global Pop Superstar, he’s Amazing 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thank you for your reaction 👍😊
Oh! I just replied to you separately - yes I definitely want to see the MV! JK intrigued me and I am very interested in seeing a full MV from him!
You'll be happy to know that BTS has professed their love for Usher many times. When BTS name-checked him in their song "Butter," Usher acknowledged it in a good-natured TikTok. This has been a long time coming, and is one of those iconic, full-circle events: Usher danced with MJ 23 years ago, and 23 years later JK dances with Usher.
3:39 Hahahaha that was fun to watch 😂. Really, I enjoy watching you fanboying over Usher because seriously what’s there to not being fanboying or -girling. I was a Teenager in the 90s and that coop hit me really hard. I also enjoyed jks koop with Justin Timberlake but this is on another lvl!
Enjoyed this reaction! Can't wait to see more BTS reactions from you! 💜💜💜
Thank you very much for watching! I look forward to the official MV and then seeing what else people are interested in!
There is so much that Jungkook and other BTS members have to offer. You are in for a fantastic ride if you start the journey into the BTS rabbit hole. 💜
Great reaction! Jungkook is only 26 and already a legend. 💜
A ton of accomplishment and talent for someone so young! Thank you for watching!
Please react more jungkook and bts. I subscribed for thiss

Subscribed!! 👍 Thank you for noticing how Amazing Jungkook is…He’s the Golden Maknae of BTS 💟
Welcome and thank you for watching! He is very impressive and I am looking forward to seeing the MV for this song - I have heard good things!
Nice reaction! Thank you! Just FYI most of us BTS fans called A.R.M.Y are not into kpop. In fact most kpop fans unite to put BTS down since they started in 2013. Btw im 66 and a fan of rock and pop in the 70’s. BTS has the most impact in our lives the reason why they have 90 mil + fans around the world.
Hi! Yes I was mistaken. I enjoy a lot of KPop but I do not like the term, it's all music to me regardless of nationality or race. So I like the ARMY attitude about the genre label! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts/experience!
There are plenty of multi stans who are into more than one group though.
@@djlivvy46 I personally think there are too many talented groups and soloists to not love several of them! If course not everyone will enjoy the same stuff but there is a lot of good work out there!
@@ChainReactionsChannel - sorry, I was referring to the OP's comment which said that most Army's are solely into BTS. Personally, I think that narrative makes Army look narrow minded and also negates the work of other K-pop groups.
Thank you for your sincere reaction! I can allready see that you can appreciate all Bts members and I liked your vibe. I saw that you are allready familiar to Blackpink and other groups so maybe also familiar with solos in kpop. They like to get offended by everything conserning their fav without even a reason. And Jk has a strong solobase. We really arent all like that. Real armys love all the 7 members and appreciate genuine, honest and respectful reactions. I hope you check out Bts. Recommend their group songs On kinetic manifesto film, Black swan, Mic drop 💜 They all have released solo songs or albums by now allready. Those show well their own individual styles that they then are able to combine as one group: Rm Wildflower, Agust d Haegeum, Jin Astronaut, J Hope Arson, Jimin Set me free pt2 and Taehyung Slow dancing.
this was a soo nice reaction! thank you i love it 💜
I appreciate your kind words! Thank you for watching, more to come!
need to watch iHeartRadio jk live !!!
The official M/V (without Usher) is even better...

💜🇧🇷💜Hi there! BTS 51 years old Army from Brazil. JK is the Mai’s vocalist of the Biggest Group Band in the World!!! BTS is a legend themselves and Usher and a lot of other artists meet BTS few years ago in an American Award Show and so much respect for him with this collaboration. The original video is amazing but Usher just puts the cherry on top. They have a lot of amazing legendary artists with the group and in their individual albums as well. BTS is a group there is being together for over 10 years. They started as a hip hop group, they writes and produces their own songs, so they have a lot of different styles of music, like jazz, rap , R&B, Latin, hip hop, pop. The group is formed of RM ( also known as Rap Monster, in his earlier days when he started the grou at age of 16) underground rapper, main songwriter and producer and also a Líder of the group. ( RM has a lot of amazing rapper collaboration in his solo projects).Suga ( or AgustD, for solo projects), mains producer, writer and underground rapper. JHOPE, is a dance Líder dancer, rapper and vocalist, songwriter and producer ( he also has a song On The Street and JCole collab in his song). JIN ( has a song with Coldplay, The Astronaut), he is a songwriter, composer and a vocalist. Jimin is the main dancer, vocalist , songwriter and producer. V , vocalist, songwriter and producer ( if you like Jazz, you going to enjoy his solo album). And we have JK they youngest and multitalented, songwriter, producer, singer. Our Fandom is Called ARMY, we came from all over the World 🌎, and all different ages. Thanks for your reaction. Hopefully we going to check it out BTS documentaries and learning about the group and the members it self. They are talented each in their own style of songs and amazing individual, that’s why together they are a Global Fenômeno. Thanks for your reaction. 💜💜💜💜
Wait till you see more bts they are influenced by so many artists. I will admit tho bts did pave the way for the other kpop artists and ita so powerful i love it. Jungkooks tattoos are absolutely real from the sleeve to the hand tattoos there all real. He also had lip and ear piercings as well.
Very cool - I feel like I don't see that so much with Eastern artists. Love his whole style and vibe!!
@@ChainReactionsChannelHe has to cover them up to perform in Korean music shows. :( They are not usually visible in BTS’ music videos & performances either, besides the ones in his hand (probably for similar cultural considerations), but we’re getting our fill of them in this solo phase.
This is one of the best reactions I've seen in a long time. You understand and appreciate great talent--the dance, the vocals, the "it" factor. Thank you for loving on our JK and K-pop in general! Usher kills this video and is a perfect pairing for JK.
And yes -- JK's tatoo is real!!
Jk could not promote this as he entered the military service
I hope he stays safe! That must be stressful for the fans!
Brian Puspo (blonde dancer) is a world renowned choreographer and has created choreo for several BTS songs
Congrats to JK/Usher for a phenomenal performance and this the greatest collab of the year. Kudos to the dancer for an amazing job. Loved your reaction. Stay safe. ❤😊
Epic collaboration, honestly! Lots and lots of talent in this performance, no question. Thank you for watching, official MV reaction soon too...
JK is my everything 💓 🌿💓
Cant wait till you check out mic drop from bts and their song ON kinetic manifesto film it goes absolutely nuts. For Mic drop is suggest the Dance practice then the video 💜🫰🫶
Sounds cool, always appreciate recommendations and thank you for watching of course!
Thank you for reacting to JK & Usher remix of SNTY! It is an amazing collab. BTS are Grammy nominated group. They received a standing ovation from the artists at the 2022 Grammys for their performance of Butter which they followed with 4 sold out nights at Allegiant Stadium with overflow sold out seating in the MGM Grand Theatre where the Grammys were held. All the members including Jungkook are now serving their compulsory military service in South Korea & will be back in June 2025.
Please react to more of Jungkook , you won't regret it!
Jk does a song with Justin Timberlake also. Jk is amazing that’s why they want to collaborate with him. Love both collaborations watch jk original of this song Liked your reaction
Thank you for watching - yes I will be covering the original of this I am very curious about the MV!
You really cracked me up. And yeah, when someone from the biggest group in the world asks you to collab on a song, you do it.🤣🤣🤣
Interesting 😊😊😊😊😊
His tattoos are real. Each one also has meaning for him
The sidestep was classic him
Honestly I was so geeked seeing Usher be Usher.
Loved your reaction 💜. I’m a 52 yr old ARMY from Australia. Stats indicate 25% of their fan base are over the age of 40. I would happily watch if you choose to go down this rabbit hole. IMO, JK’s best vocals live for this album were the iHeart radio ones. As well as being a strong dancer, he is pitch perfect and the king of ad libs and harmonies. The Rolling Stone Magazine have listed him in their top 200 voices of all time. For a strong BTS dance performance, I’d recommend “ON: kinetic manifesto film”. It’s epic! Black Swan MV is also amazing, more contemporary dance influence.
Loved your reaction 😊 would love to see more BTS reactions as well as their solo work trust me once you start down the rabbit hole theres no going back 😂💜🫰🏻
Apparently I'm late to this! I don't know much about either Jung Kook or Usher but they both slayed that performance! Plus seeing the vibe between them was phenomenal.

Loved your reaction. And I am glad many people gave you more information about the song and about JK. Not gonna repeat anything. But yes, there is some behind the scenes footage with Usher and JK while making this video and it is clear how much both of them enjoyed each other's presence, as humans and artists (even if they belong to different generations and different cultures, how amazing is this?). I wish I could see them one day performing live this song and why not maybe other songs, too. As for the `kpop' label, it is nothing wrong with this to a certain extent. `Kpop` as an industry and style/genre imposed itself as something great and worthy of respect. It becomes questionable, only when people use the word with derogatory intentions. And that's on them. Even if Jungkook is already a huge global pop star, his early roots are grounded in the complex and stunning world of kpop. Later on, along with his group and during his solo journey/acts, he paid attention, learned and absorbed the best from other cultures, too and he turned into what he is today: a gorgeous global artist, loved and respected by people all over the world. I grew up with MJ, I had my youth marked by Usher and I consider JK the next in line to bear the torch of such heritage further on. :)
I was fascinated by Your😍reaction and I´m a follower now. I'm sure You'll enjoy the BTS/BTS members' solo songs and collaborative songs They've been doing over many years. I look forward to more enthusiastically.
