- Why Did Ancient Sith Lords HATE Palpatine and Darth Vader?
Palpatine and Vader are undoubtedly two of the most successful Sith of all time. Yet some ancient Sith did not believe this to be the case. In fact some believed that Vader and Palptine weren't really Sith at all. The most direct answer to this question comes from Darth Momin, an ancient crazed Sith who once tried to freeze a city in time just for fun. He believed that Vader and Palptine were too focused on the Jedi, and their hatred for them had ironically made them like the Jedi. Instead of proudly conquering and enslaving through the dark side, they instead built and ruled the galaxy through a technocratic bureaucracy much like the Republic, with even their Sith identities kept secret from the public. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน

Sith ghosts are trapped to a location, unless summoned via ritual. They really do heckle all the newer sith.

Of course the ancient Sith would disapprove and despise Vader and Palpatine's means and methods of ruling the known galaxy with ways that are similar to that of the Republic with government and bureaucracy.
The Pure Blood Sith before the Dark Exile were a society where only the strong survived since their world was a harsh and rough place to live and call home and had no desire for galactic conquest. But as you can see at the example of darth Krayt, no matter how you do it, no sith master will ever be happy with you doing
That's why Darth Viciates time was the best for the Sith, The Old Republic was filled with millions of Force sensitives on both sides of the force led by proud leaders who weren't afraid of meeting their enemies in open battle. The Rule Of Two was a stupid gamble that failed hard.
I agree it was a gamble, but The Rule of two was more of a Pyrrhic Victory. It’s main goal was to prevent infighting against the Sith and operate secretly to eventually destroy the Jedi order. In which it succeeded in doing that even if it was for only a limited amount of time.
The Rule of Two did what ancient sith couldn't - made permanent power vacuum. Whether regarding Legend's ABY or Canon ABY(after the fall of Final Order) it's solely because of this Rule that it's clear sith or dark side users will return to take that power vacuum. Because Jedi and Light side can not exist without Dark side. It means the destruction of Balance
bro what do you mean failed? they successfully wiped out the rest of the sith and then palps destroyed the Jedi with their own republic and turned force jesus to the dark side. Yeah Luke defeated him eventually but basically all jedi knowledge and culture was lost in the purge and the new republic Jedi are a completely new sect. Nah they wrong for hating on sideous. Bro was literally the hitler of Star Wars. Jedi be best friends with clone troopers and sidous made them kill each other, nearly drove all the Jedi to complete extinction, took over the entire galaxy, and brainwashed everyone into thinking the Jedi were bad people.
Thats what makes Sidous more evil than the old Sith. Sidious is evil in motivations and actions. The old Sith believed that you had to be strong to live, so put their people through cruelty to weed out the strong. The old sith committed evil because they thought they were morally justified.
In a way, the old sith were just had very extreme military mindset. How drill instructors weed out the weak recruits. The Sith however just killed the weak.
They weren't selfish power hungry tyrants, they fundementally believed that to be weak was to be disgusting and amoral. They had twisted morality, but they still had morality.
Palps has ZERO morals. He would do ANYTHING to win, just because he wants to win. He fundementally can't just not win. He doesn't even have a reason to fight the Jedi. He literally could have ruled the galaxy without killing them. He wiped them out just because.
Palpatine is pathetic in the eyes of the old Sith, and is Infinitely more evil than them.

@@peaceweapon1933 I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or not, it sort of sounds like you're correcting me, but like based on what you said we should be agreeing because my entire point was that while Sidious is more evil than any other Sith, he also isn't a good Sith because his goals were ultimately Selfish, not selfless towards the Sith's ultimate goals.
Traditional Sith are evil, but not selfish. Power is a means to an end for them, the end being the furthering of the Sith Ideology.
Whereas Palpatine is just an evil bastard.
@@darkrain491nigga one Acient sith was so powerful in the dark side that the planet he stays on is devoid of the force and is a complete husk of lifelessness, on Acient sith stayed alive for years through sheer anger and hate alone you don't do that by not being pure fucking evil
Wait until momin finds out Vader was one of the most famous Jedi of his time. His criticism isn’t wrong. Since both Tyranus and Vader were ex Jedi, the Sith essentially spent their last 30 to 40 years of existence made up of failed Jedi that were embittered with the order, rather than genuine Sith adherents.
Is it any wonder then, that Sidious’s apprentices were focused on expert level lightsaber combat, the state of the republic, and doing as much damage to the other side as possible, rather than building up the Sith order? Sidious is the most guilty for enabling this because he didn’t want the Sith to grow anymore, he wanted it to culminate and terminate with him. He had more apprentices than any previous Sith (3 as opposed to the usual 1 and occasional 2 if the first failed) yet none of them succeeded in fulfilling the rule of 2 and continuing the Sith lineage.
It’s all because Sidious himself was too selfish, even for a Sith. All previous Sith acknowledged that they were merely mortal, and that they needed apprentices to continue their work after their death, otherwise there was no point to any of it. Sidious had no such consideration. He was content to destroy the Jedi and have the empire croak at the same time that he did.

Yeah but killing the Jedi is such a pathetic goal. Palps Empire lasted what? Twenty years? That's a blink of an eye in the broad scheme of things. The old sith Empire lasted centuries or more, proving that their way was better. It lasted longer.
Palp's selfishness is a prime example of how NOT to be a Sith. True Sith are thinking of the the continued survival of the Sith, not their own personal success.
@@darkrain491Sith have wanted to destroy Jedi for thousands of years it isn’t a “pathetic” goal but very close to succeeding in the goal that Sith have always wanted

You know nothing about vitiate and yes i know palpatine is strong af especially in legends but vitiate is literal dark side him self
Ironically pissing off all previous Sith Lords and just doing whatever gives you more power is the most sith thing you could do.
Palpatine was undoubtedly the most successful Sith of all time. The arguement that he "became like the Republic" is flawed and (imo) egoistic. Palpatine infiltrated the Republic from the inside, corrupted it and took over, while every other Sith tried defeating it with violence and failed. And even if a Sith did succeed through violence, due to the galactic scale bloodshed there would be no galaxy to govern anymore.
As for Vader, his hatred towards the Jedi is entirely justified. He was incapable of reaching his full potential because of them. However, Vader was never even meant to be a Sith, even less a successful one. Arguing over him being an unsuccessful Sith is the same as arguing over an airplane being unsuccessful in driving alongside cars in the same roads.
