Yep, it's a little function no one will probably use, but along the aim, dot makes intercepts very easy, which should come in handy to players not interested in theory and proficiency.
@@FlyAndWire It's little things like this that let me dream of a day when we've got adequate fighter control, less than omnicient enemies and potential neutral coalitions.
I totally agree, and the omniscience of the AI will be detrimental, especially when I show intercepts without a radar lock: since the AI sees you at all basically no matter where you are, sneaking up on them as you'do in real life is almost impossible.
Do you know if they'll be introducing iceman functionality for the back seat? It'd be nice to focus 100% on the radar, at least while I'm learning :)
No, I'm not sure tbh. I use the AFCS to keep it stable in my tests when I don't need to manoeuvre.
The Phantom needs both sets on hands when doing A/A vs non-cooperative targets though.
How do you use the Chaff? I can use flares and have the binds but they won’t work??
Hard to tell without more details. Check the AN/ALE-40's programmer. I use only one button and adjust whatever I want to be deployed with the CCU.
