  • Answer : Reason:Drain error, water can not drain fully within the required drain time (controlled by PCB software ).
    Solution: Remove and clean the pump filter.
    Check drain hose for blockage and proper installation.

      It’s Gas isn’t it. Worth checking as well that the pump blades go round with your finger. I have seen with cotton buds stuck under the blades. Also Some machines don’t like to start unless there is about 2 litres of water in them. So you might need to add a bit back after emptying it. Rare though.

      good man,yeah I swung the impeller no bother (there was a plastic stick that comes from a hair roller in there,size and shape of a cotton bud.Fecking women's hair lol.If it's not blocking every drain in the house,hairbands and bits of rollers are blocking the washer) I got it to drain itself okay,good strong flow on a drain cycle,leave it alone for a while now and chance a full wash cycle later,thx for the advice,it's appreciated.

    I have a problem with my washer/dryer where when I wash clothes they come out with loads of small hairs on it. I don't use the dryer and have no pets. I've cleaned the filter. Any ideas on why this is happening? Thanks Chris

    Any ideas why the outlet hose one way valve will not open when hose is pushed onto the waste trap pipe connector?
    Pumpworks fine if I manually press the one way valve down!

    • @bootsowen
      @bootsowen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure I understand? If you are pressing the valve flap down then surely you are closing it.

      @@bootsowen Hi, Thanks for prompt reply.
      Just moved to a new house.
      Indesit washer won't pump out.
      Checked filter and perfectly clean,
      Filled with water and then press drain and the outlet hose jerks under pressure but no water comes out but if I press the one way valve in about quarter inch it pumps out perfectly.
      The waste trap is just a plain plastic piece that fits inside diameter of outlet hose but the inside diameter of the plastic piece is bigger than the one way valve so the valve isn't pushed open.
      I don't think I lost any bits when I pulled hose of to get washer out while moving.
      So I'm baffled how a one way valve will open under pressure!
      I windered if the waste trap piece should have something to push to one way open but then it would be permanently open and possibly allow sink water to drain into washer.
      I think a quick fix will be to cut off teh one way vaalve bit of hose and just push hose onto the plastic waste trap pipe.
      I'm baffled.

      @@bootsowen With power off and no water in the hose the one way valv is loose and moves in out about quartrer inch.
      Turn on and select drain and pump sends pressure water up the hose but the one way moves forward and blocks the flow but if I press the valve in just a fraction or fully it opens and teh machine empties.
      It is the oiginal hose fixed to the machine so I just can't think how it is supposed to work.

    • @bootsowen
      @bootsowen  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      is the one way valve part of the washing machine or part of the sink drain?
      most washers have a pump down behind the filter. and where the waste hose joins the pump there is a little one way valve in there usually. I have a feeling that you are talking about a different one way valve and I can't picture your system. I have never seen a one way valve at the outlet end of the waste hose. You can test if the machine is working by placing the drain hose into the sink and running the machine.

      @@bootsowen one way is on end of the original hose that came with machine and its worked perfectly for a few years until I moved last week.
      The flexy grey hose has the big end to push on waste trap piece. In big end is a black plastic piece that jiggles back and forth with machine off but when draining the piece is jammed solid against its seat and won't pass water!
      If I press it in an eightth or quarter inch the water flow.
      It looks like there ought to be something on end of the waste piece to keep the black piece pressed in to stop sink water running into machine.
      If there was a little piece to fit on the prap end that had some sort of spring to keep the one way shut until needed to open for draining.
      I don't think I lost anything when I pulled the outlet hose off the waste trap piece.
