They both felt strongly about wanting a family but knew they had plenty of time. They spent a few years together as newly-weds, saved and bought a house together, and then decided they were ready to become parents. Heather and Brandon didn't know how difficult their journey was about to be.
Infertility is more common than you might think. In fact, one in eight couples struggles with the disease, which can result in shame, guilt and overwhelming longing for something others have more easily: children. But sometimes you witness a beautiful story that leaves you filled with optimism and amazement.
