  • ASMR Leather Carving in real time that a small part of it was in my Leather Breastplate video. Some people enjoy seing some of the more raw footage. There's no dialog, and this kind of falls into the ASMR world of videos. Tool sounds and all that.

      I searched for instructional videos about leathercraft a while ago, found your videos then learn how to carve leather with them (thank you). Today suddenly this one appeared on my recommendations.

      Like others here it appeared in my recommendations. I do favour good craftsmanship videos and generally hit like on those without the gaudy background music or too much chatter. Looks like you hit the google algorithm sweet-spot with this one, hopefully you will glean plenty of subscribers too.

    Very nice Magnus. Chilled and relaxing ASMR. Just to watch you craft up close without all the chatter is great. The music maybe just a tick louder because they always have a good vibe. Again, excellent quality of craftsmanship. 👍🏼

    You tube recommendation, I like the closeup and the opportunity to follow your work closely without talking chatter. Please direct me to where I can find the pattern (as well as similar patterns) and keep up the great work.

    I inherited a set of western style leather carving and embossing tools and always wondered how to use them. Thanks for the tutorial. 👍🏻
    P.S., it just came up in my feed; but that’s not too surprising since I watch a few craft videos.

    How do you like the ceramic blades? I have a couple old ruby blades that supposedly never need sharpening, lol. As someone who has a hard time keeping a steel blade sharp enough for his liking I have considered ceramic but would actually appreciate your feedback on them.

    • @DarkHorseWorkshop
      @DarkHorseWorkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always polish them up a bit, people say I don't need to but it always helps them cut smoother. I like them. Could try polishing the ruby maybe? I didn't like my ceramic until I did a light strop on them.

    What kind of ink did you use on the plastic sheeting? It's really nice that it rubs off a little so you can see what you have done. Also I'm super impressed that you dont have to tape the pattern down.

      That's a laser printer. So I tape the trading film to a sheet of paper and laser print onto it.
