    Anambra has 166 water body across the state, more water body than Rivers State its not a surprise that one plce in Anambra is like this. However this is a blessed it just needs proper planning.

      If I may ask the only resources the state have which the state can use to developed this aera to international standard like developed countries or regions the resources oil Nigeria government have taken it away from the state which the state would have used to build a good standard if corruption is not among

      Anambra has more than 166 water bodies. Aguleri alone has more than 80 water bodies , the same with Anambra west and ogbaru

      River Niger and Omambala River.

      Anam is surrounded by river Niger and omambala river which also connects to river Niger at onitsha

    there's a element of unnatural and unusual pattern of flooding for sure, but looking at the drone shots, some of the impacted areas look like they should have been undeveloped and left as floodplains.

      This is natural flooding which human beings can not stop or block but there is no human planning building of drainage systems in the state
