Wow, incredible. I also didn’t know you could fix colors so easily in the colorize filter. Excellent tips.

Very nice tutorial. Not only explaining the neural part, but also breaking down a logical and effective general workflow that would be used without the neural filters too.

I find the Neural filters a great addition to my restoration process. Doing some restoration work before going to the Neural Filters then after makes for a great restoration outcome. Thanks Julieanne

Excellent tutorial, especially the techniques to modify color after the Neural Filter does its job. You answered questions that I have had with the color Neural filter deficiency and how your techniques can solve problems. Thank you.

I think we are getting a bit picky about the images we are restoring. To be fair this "restoration" does little more than blur a few scratches out. Its a slightly improved dust and scratches and yet at the same time removes more of the important details. It just doesn't work very well. For images that really need restoring, large cracks and bits missing and edges of objects or faces that need shaping it is just no going to happen. Colouring seems to have imporved though :)

This is great but when I select U to make the matte, I cannot bring up the marquee, just a black arrow.

Can you automate this for batch processing?

This filter has lots of potential, but still it has many problems. I tried to use it to restore old images with lots of dust and scratches, and it destroys the image. Grain is removed, the image is much softer and it removes parts of the image that thinks is dust but it is not. I get much better results with the old dust and scratches and masks. But I am sure it will improve a lot in the future.
I don't use the enhance feature as I think it invents data that is similar but has nothing to do with the original image. Now I am constrained to editorial images where truth is important but for creative images it is a good tool

This does not work well. I need to select a color withing the colorized photo and I can't. It goes to the picker but you can't find the exact color there. Driving me crazy. For instance, chose the color of the face and drag it to the legs...HOW?
