AFAIK, he mentioned in the recent streams that he will continue FFVII in the future but didn't mention any specific timeline especially with the 10 day Mexico trip on the horizon. My suggestion is to keep an eye on his twitter since he generally post about the content he planned for the streams each day before the stream itself if you're trying to avoid FFXIV spoilers but is curious about what he covers during those.
