Oddly enough, I bought this one from California all the way into the UK - so having been made in Japan, it will have gone most of the way around the world! It's a peach. I'm looking forward to catching up with the 828 project very soon!

Yes, I think I might do that at some point. Once my workshop is sorted, I'll be able to start hooking the audio up to recording software for demonstrations 😊Not really worried about the copyright on the tape, as I do not get paid for videos anyway. That being said, I will be making a tape of my own music soon, as it would be nice to play the cassette units for longer in the future without worrying about copyright 👍

There aren't any 'proper' new radio cassettes being made unfortunately. This one is over 40 years old. Your best bet is to get hold of a 1970s or 1980s model and get it serviced. Thanks for watching 👍

@@retro_restos hmmmm ... keep it, touch it ... feel it .... use it ... just like the blanket they give you when you are in a jail cell ! copy ? But when you get out of the jail, you can NOT take that blanket with you ... somebody will use it ... right ? keep no attachment to material things ... its all temporary ... just figure out who am I ...and learn two basic truth - Earth is Flat and Silver is Money !
