Oh my gosh, this is one of the joys of re-visiting Eurovision past, I hear things in such a different light. This was so Disney-esque, it could have been straight out of Frozen.

Eldrine from 2011 is my favorite Georgian entry of all time. You'll get to her as she placed 9th in the final. (also they've qualified 7 of the last 12 years so they're not absent!) They've participated all but 1 year since their debut in 2007 (That year bc the song was perceived as an attack on Putin related to the South Ossetian war) and they won JESC in 2008!
Can't wait to watch the live performance next year then!

I watched the 9th and 10th place reactions back to back, and I realised while watching this there were alot of guitars in 2010. I think it was a trend at the time, but I think alot of the ballads had a promanant guitar somewhere withinin the song. Correct me if i'm wrong, as I haven't looked back to check, but from what I remember, I think i'm right 🤔
That would definitely make sense, I'll listen for more guitars as we react to some more ballads!
