I think the song has some potential with a revamp. It's kind of low key until the final third, and I think if they bring the guitars in a bit sooner for a more layered sound it could make the song as a whole a bit mote impactful. The rock songs that have generally done well at Eurovision recently have been the ones that are a bit harder, so I think it would be a strategic choice even if their band generally doesn't lean that way. If there is budget for the revamp, then I suspect we will get a fully English chorus given that they used English to get the rhyme scheme they wanted anyway (lyrics according to Lyrics Translate: (Clickbait!) Baš sam raspoložen za hate (Clickbait!) Nikad nije too late (Za Clickbait!) Nebitno gay ili straight Vodim te na date ako shareuješ mi dobar (Clickbait!)). That would solve some of the concerns about the message not coming through for people outside the Balkans along with updated graphics designed with an international audience in mind. I hope they keep the verses in Montenegrin though as I always like to hear people sing in their own language.

Hi Jordan, welcome back 😊! I saw you last season in the eurovision tea a few times, with Shane and Georgi, who I follow for a few years now, so I was curious to see what you had to say. And I agree with a lot of what you say. I personally like the song, the visuals, the guys, the overall look, the catchyness of the lyrics and the hand movement, but yes, it needs something extra in order to not be too repetitive and a not flat here and there. For me, the start is interesting and good, then I get a bit bored and only have eyes for them (which is not a bad thing in this case 😇😉), and then it gets interesting after minute 2 again. So yeah, I see the potential too but it definately needs to be polished here and there. That said, I think Montenegro chose well. Were there other amazing vocalist? Yes, definately. But were they all a bit "ok, that again"? Also in my humble opinion. I personally liked Nina and Tamara, but to be honest, I don't think they would have stand out in between 37 other songs, this one could if they do it right. No masterpieces, and I would be surprised if it's a winner, but definately an interesting entry with qualifying potential, if done well, and if in a semi were they are not burried under other rockers. On audio listen: 1. Nina 2. Baryak 3. Tamara 4. Durda On performance I was very impressed with most of the songs and it became: 1. Baryak 2. Nina 3. Dolce Hera 4. Kejt Half the other women, Isak and most of the bands really impressed me.

It's not horrible or anything I just think Montenegro had some options for qualification, I wasn't huge on Nina's song like many others but that and the televote winner Baryak could've sent Montenegro to the final for a change.

Do you speak or understand some of Serbian? Because your pronunciation is spot on. I know foreigners who live in Montenegro for decades and they cant pronounce our words like that. You got it all right, song titles and artist names, I'm very impressed!!

Welcome back Jordan!🫡 I was pleasantly surprised with some of the quality within this selection, maybe my expectations were kinda low before listening tho😂 However they defo had 3-5 respectable options. In the end i had a clear Top 3 and well when it came down to it, my third place was realistically the one which stood a chance to win and i NEEDED Nina to save me because oh boy was the alternative absolutely horrific imo… Sadly Montenegro decided to disappoint in a way i didn’t think was possible at the start of the evening with this Clickbait choice🫠 They have not only set the bar exponentially low but if another country manages to end up below it in my ranking, i’ll be very shocked🤷‍♂️ My Top 3: 1. One interesting fact... the girl to the right of Jel used to perform in a nurse suit (and she played the flute in the band), don't know why she changed her outfit. Everyone else seemed to play the roles they used to play in the band except for her. To be honest, still don't know anyone names expect for the Duarte brothers. PS. The girl in the red hat is Benedita das Dores and she's an "intelectual" of the band. The guy in the army suit looks like Pôncio Gomes but he used to wear a hard hat and be your typical handyman... but instead he's playing the role of Soldado de Abril... So yeah, it's all over the place with the band.

Not gonna lie, I came back to this song recently, I've watched quite a lot of live performances of this song by Homens da Luta and some of them were performed 100% live with live instruments like guitar for Falancio (real name Vasco Duarte, who is actually a brother of Jel (real name Nuno Duarte, a guy with megaphone)), accordion, flute, drums, triangle (yep, TRIANGLE) and some other instruments with like 10-12 people on stage... and for a comedic band they were pretty good. Still can't understand how their national final performance was so awful. At first I was thinking that they couldn't sing, but after watching that performance once again... they were okay at some points, but at some points the whole performance was a complete mess. There was definitely some sound problems with their performance... and they still won. Jel released some great stuff in late 2010s and early 2020s under the name Tio Jel (Uncle Jel). Sal Grosso and Cagar e Andar are the songs you need to listen... the guy reinvented himself. AGAIN. Homens da Luta wasn't even his first music band. He also was a founding member of the trash metal band named "Kalashnikov" and he performed as Kalashnikov while his brother performed as Cobra.

Another duet that is criminally underrated is Norway's 1994 entry that's literally just called "duett". One of my personal favorite Eurovision entries ever! The song was written and composed by Rolf Løvland, the same guy who wrote and composed both Norway's 1985 and 1995 entries, both of which won the entire competition! And the duet is performed absolutely beautifully by Elisabeth Andreassen and Jan Werner. Rest in peace Jan Werner! Perhaps the greatest vocalist that has ever come out of Norway, and gone FAR too soon! If I recall, he died from heart related issues at only the age of 30. He has a rather sad backstory as well, but singing was his one and only passion in life! Please show him some love by reacting to one of my favorite Eurovision entries ever from 1994!
