I’m so glad i came across your channel!! Everything is so loud and fast these days, especially social media. It’s so refreshing to find content that makes you slow down and relax a bit.
I always keep the candle containers, you get rid of the wax with boiling water and clean well and then you can use it however you prefer! i use them to store my loose leaf tea (the candle containers usually come with a lid). and it's just perfect
I'm embarrassed it took me this long to find this. These are the coziest vibes all around. 12:15 Those days when you feel good and it's crazy? What strikes me is that they happen right after an extreme ... or maybe within an extreme. Winter is a good example of an extreme. So rest assured you are making sense.
I've been so sad lately and don't care about Christmas this year (except making it great for my son). This video brought a tear to my eye 🥲 Thank you for these moments of warmth and coziness.
Ooh I really like the idea of giving yourself an advent calendar budget and using it on things that make you happy! I was late to the advent calendar game, too, and couldn't find a chocolate calendar cheap and nice enough, so I ended up buying wrapped chocolates and stapling them on a ribbon to hang in my kitchen. Better chocolate and cheaper than an actual calendar. Also, have you tried the H&M Home Winter's Eve candle? Smells exactly like baking gingerbread cookies. Divine. 🧡 Thank you for another cosy video and for keeping me company as I finish knitting my dad's socks for Christmas!
Leonieeee! You can refill your candle containers with new wicks and wax quite easily! I make my own candles all the time when I find cute vessels at the thrift store and what not. But basically once you get all the original candle out by whatever method you prefer, you can just pop new wicks in there, melt your own wax, add whatever scent oils you can find at a store/craft store and there you go! A new candle has been born!
11:30 sooo relatable! I've been obsessed with rooibos tea since last winter, but while last winter it was more the sweeter types like rooibos with caramel or caramilized almonds aroma, this winter I'm more into rooibos with marzipan, hazelnut or a very delicious rum dark chocolate rooibos tea.
I, too, got my tree at the market. It's a bit bigger than yours maybe but small enough to fit in comfortably on a coffee table. The star top ornament is way too big and I had to stuff the receiver to keep it on place on the trunk. I have a few decorations but the one I'm most happy with is the short string of lights also bought at the market which is battery powered. It was inexpensive and it's battery-powered! I'm thinking of getting another. I sent to my sister two Advent calendars: one is chocolate and the other is cocoa. The only other thing I would like to add for X-mas ambience is round the clock carols but I don't know I just haven't done it. Well, this was fun, so thanks! Have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, too.
Seriously the most calming and cozy video I've ever seen. You're videos make me excited about going to college next year and always calm my anxiety. Thank you (:
Loved the video!! Btw, I save all my candle things as new glasses as bowls eheh. You just need to apply super warm water and kitchen soap in there, wait a bit and then disinfect it really nice. The one you showed would be so cute to eat soup or cereal :D
You should get a tea advent calendar next year. I had one from Cupper, the brand you were drinking in this video last year and it was really fun to get a different tea to drink every day. Plus, they're not too expensive and you're gonna use them up if you're a tea drinker anyway.
I love your videos on this channel. I might even prefer them to the ones on the main channel. They are so cosy and relaxing to watch. Btw, just so you know, (normal) tea also contains caffeïne, but coffee and tea also contain many different other components, which is probably (or that in combination with caffeïne) what often gives you headaches when you drink coffee. Personally, my thrive with coffee is that I get (more) anxious, which can happen with tea too, but is way easier with coffee. Some of the components of tea are calming, which makes tea a way better concentration booster for me personally
Love hearing you speak Dutch and spending time with friends! And drinking Rooibos tea! Welcome to the magic that is tea from South Africa 🇿🇦 with love, from a South African 🥰
Since you like the scented candles but not wasting the containers, you should look at getting a wax burner. you change the wax when it runs out and just use tea light candles to keep the wax melting and diffusing. They're great!
I absolutely love your videos! Been following you for a while now and I'm so glad I found your channel a couple of years ago! Your videos never stop warming my heart and I get so happy when I see that you've uploaded a new one! Thank you for everything, you're an amazing person 🦋✨ Merry Xmas ! 🎄🎅🎁
Leonie!!! I've watched so many of your vlogs that I think I manifested a life in the Netherlands for me. I've got accepted in a internship on the Hague! Give us tips on what to do in your lovely country 😊
You could try making your own scented candles using the containers left over 🍂 I’ve made a bunch of pine candles using cheap wax I’ve bought and then melted and poured into old jars with some oils my mum had lying around to smell - and they are so cute and Christmassy 🎄
EDITING LEONIEE POPPED OFF

🕯Your videos are like asmr, but for my soul... such chill cozy vibes, and I love it!
🎄🎄Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄
you seem like the kind of person who would like tea advent calendars, trying new flavours every day and finding new favourites!

You are glowing this Christmas. Absolutely gorgeous.

It's the candle system for me
Your idea of presents for the month instead of an advent calendar is great! Will be doing that next year! And maybe for my birthday 😅
You should get a tea advent calendar next year. I had one from Cupper, the brand you were drinking in this video last year and it was really fun to get a different tea to drink every day. Plus, they're not too expensive and you're gonna use them up if you're a tea drinker anyway.
The advent calendar budget idea is so good! This video was so cozy and lovely. I hope you have a very happy holiday and winter season ❤❄️
such a cozy vibe! I wish I could visit Netherlands someday! That's one of my dream places to go! 💕
This video was like a hug to my heart 🥺

I love your videos on this channel. I might even prefer them to the ones on the main channel. They are so cosy and relaxing to watch.

Obsessed looking for that clipper tea till I realized that it's only available in holands supermarkets :')
I love it every time you speak dutch. It sounds like a combination of German and English. I'm German and I think some words are very similar

Since you like scented candles so much you should consider one of your new year resolutions to be to learn to make them.Merry Christmas!
