For being carried more, the anodized handles really hold up nicely. I do wish the 722 came without the recurve, the 726 has a bladeshape more to my taste. The 722 having the larger pivotscrew and four pocketclip options has that for it. Thank you for bringing out the Spitfires again Tom.
Thanks for the very kind shout-out, Tom. It's been great getting to know you. You and your channel have been a tremendous addition to the community and I'm very thankful for all that you do. The Spitfires have a nice clean design thanks for presenting these side by side for comparison. 👍
I did enjoy this video! I was not familiar with this knife, but there is so much I like. I too am a fan of green, but I like bigger knives. I couldn't find the full size with the green handles but I am happy with the green back spacer. I like recurves and aluminum handles so it's almost like they made this one for me. Such a great price for a USA made knife! Thanks for showing these!
You're welcome, Ken! I'm glad that you enjoyed the peek at these knives. You are correct, they are pretty good knives for the money. Thanks for watching, my friend.
I used to carry the bigger one with a green handle for 8 years and this is a tough knife, unfortunately they stopped making the green handle on the bigger model but served me well.
I got a green Spitfire as a Father's Day gift a few years ago, it came with a super stiff backspring that took quite a long time to break-in before I could easily one-hand open and close it. I like how lightweight it is and flat, so it sits nice in the pocket and I completely forget I have it when carrying it. I also like that the pocket clip is 4 way mountable too. Thanks for this review and Cheers!
Yes, the backspring is stout, but I happen to like that. Since I normally carry slipjoints, I don't always put much emphasis on "drop shut" action. And, I should have mentioned that in the video. Anyway, thanks for watching, Toad!
I've enjoyed carrying the mine, but I need to get the full size into the rotation. My problem is that I'm a creature of habit and rarely change my EDC. lol. Thanks for watching, my friend.
I've had the green mini spitfire fore about six years and it's been a really great knife. Thin light, not expensive. I must say it's easy to deploy also . Just a really good knife fore me. Cheers😊
I was just commenting on one of singing toad’s last vids how much I love these older unassuming Buck knives. Thanks for showing them off Mr. Delights, and thanks for the welcoming attitude that you have. Cheers!
I’ve got that same pair of knives, in the same colors! 😆 I carry the larger one quite often, more so than the mini. But that little green bugger found its way into my pocket one day this past week. Both of them are fantastic slicers. Great video, buddy!
Hey Tom I have one of them I remember in Walmart they were selling them for 25 a piece I should have bought 10 of them shoot I was lookin hard at them thanks so much Tom stay well buddy 😊
I finally got around to buying a 722 in May 23 Jury is still out on it since I have the 112LT and the 583 I have other Buck Knives the same size that I use for outdoor work that I’m used to using Personally I’m finding that blade a bit clunky for opening bags of mulch etc but I’ll have to commit to using it to see how it works in all applications Thanks for the trip around the knives Tom
You're welcome, Terrill. I'm not a huge fan of the recurve also, but it's pretty slight on this one. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for watching, my friend.
I think the option of 4 clip positions, as well as carrying it on a lanyard, really make this knife a great option. Not really my style of knife, but if I were in the market for a modern folder I'd be looking at this one for sure.
I like that those Buck knives. Very cool blade shape. Thanks Tom.
The pattern has very clean lines and nice blades. Thanks for watching, Dean.
2 great looking knives! Great video 👍
Thanks, Jeremy!
I have that same gray model. I like the Spitfire. Definitely a good all around edc knife. Thanks Tom!
It's a pretty good design, and I sure like carrying the mini. Thanks for watching, my friend!

You're welcome, my friend. Maybe I can introduce you to TK this Sunday? Have a delightful day, Paddy.
The spitfire is a great knife. Easy opening and solid lock up. Handles are a little slick, but still a great edc choice.
I agree, a little slick. But overall a well built knife that should last a long time. Thanks for watching, James!
Great two for Tuesday Tom! Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome, Randy! I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Thanks for showing the combination. I have been interested in these lately.
You're welcome, Carl! This has been a popular model and I think you'd like one. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.

That's just grand! We sure have great taste, don't we? lol. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your story. Have a delightful day, David.
I like how they did the tang stamp and the other stamped and not laser etched.
I agree. I don't like the current trend of laser etching instead of stamping. Thanks for watching, Matt.
Hey Tom I have one of them I remember in Walmart they were selling them for 25 a piece I should have bought 10 of them shoot I was lookin hard at them thanks so much Tom stay well buddy 😊
You're welcome, Pete! They are a popular pattern. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.

Nice duo
Thanks, fibitabit! Glad you enjoyed it.
