lol Sisu! I know, we lucked out. We spent over 3 months working on the masts, from a complete rewire, and new lights, anemometer, vhf/AIS to painting the masts, and going over all the rigging. So by the time we stepped we had our heads around it pretty well. The vacuum in the raw water was a lucky fix for sure, my buddy had that brainstorm. Thanks for commenting!

Great ideas on the Neon Green paint , reflective tape and standing the Masthead Light off the top of the mast!!
How do you like the Yawl Rig?? Chop Sticks is a Ketch Rig and When I bought her, the Mizzen sail needed to be replaced. Got a new Mizzenmast Sail made last season just in time to notice a leaky stuffing Box which was accompanied by some engine issues. The Stuffing Box on Chop Sticks is way far back in the bilge and hard to access..didn’t get a chance to try out that new sail yet but next season for sure!! 😎🥢⛵️🏴☠️🤙
Thanks Chop Sticks! Ya it was a big day, they always are! I like the yawl rig, though I haven’t had much time to play with it, and it isn’t a sail used on all points of sail. I’ve considered taking the mizzen down actually. The last year and a half we’ve only sailed her a few times, I’ve been rebuilding our house. We’re selling it now and moving to Mexico. Bella Sera is also for sale unfortunately. I’ll be sad to see her go, but it’s far more practical logistically and financially, to just buy another boat down there.
Sorry man, I haven’t sat down and watched any of your vids yet, I’ve been slammed preparing the house, it listed yesterday. Stuffing boxes are always tough, and it sounds like you’re pretty ready to bust a move once that is finished. Your trip is going to be a blast!!

If you find it useful, I'll pass along some knowledge that I've recently learned about how to start and grow a YT channel. To help you get more views/subscribers and eventually be eligible for monetization (if that's the route you're aiming for), adding links to your other videos in your endscreen is an easy way to funnel viewers to your other content. Another thing that's very helpful is to see what meta tags/keywords the most popular videos in your content niche are using, and use those. That way, your videos will be more likely to appear on the suggested/related list of those other videos. Also, here's a link to a website that offers a free, searchable TH-cam keyword database.
