A CLEANER HERE. Use just a little soap. It goes a LONG WAY and use Dawn Original. Floors will be slippery if you use the amount this A.I. says. The soap lifts the oils and residue while the vinegar disinfects and the baking soda lifts and does wonders itself. BAKING soad and dash of Dawn and hot water, let it sit and wipe out Pans & POts for those burnt bits! Works great on stainless steel and let it sit to do its work. Your Welcome.
This is the mixture I use daily for cleaning my floors and such. But, less soap than is used here. That will leave it too soapy with slippery residue. I also add some essential oil to the bucket 🪣 for fresh scent. Usually citrus 🍊 and maybe more bug repellent types in the summertime. 👍🏽
In addition with time the liquid soap residue builds up and the floor looses its natural shine. Whenever you use soap in floor you need to rinse it with water at the end to avoid any build ups
Agreed with the dish soap. I am a clean queen and have tried that before. If you do it, be prepared to have to rinse after you have washed the floors or it will be sticky and slippery.
Even to clean the fridge water and liquid soap, and white vinegar it' works so fantastic like new furniture.amazing work for the smell fridge will disappear💯💯💯💯
I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm a caregiver/cleaner, and I thought that was way too much soap also. I've had a tour rotator cuff, I pray for your complete healing in Jesus's name.
3 vertebrae fractures, knee surgery from a fall, foot fracture from walking, tail bone fracture as I was washing dishes and fell backwards. Coming up, knee replacement. Id rather be safe than shiny. 😊😅 ❤Rinse, Rinse, Rinse! 😂❤
Yesss Always rinse or wipe with damp cloth. You shouldn't leave cleaning agents or chemicals on anything after you clean it. Duh.... Isn't there a rinse cycle in your washing machine and dish washer. Wished they had said to rinse after this hack. That's a hack in itself.
The soap leaves a smeary sheen on windows. Just use vinegar, water and a microfiber cloth....and wipe horizontal only. And I use vinegar only for my floors as I have animals that lick their feet
I was always taught that if you have animals and you’re mopping your floors like that, you should put your animals cats doll in a room with it be comfortable until the floor is completely dry and so once it’s dry, completely get a little air in there and even if theywon’t be wet and they’ll be all right. No problem now I have three cats and a dog so if that don’t work, don’t do it don’t use that shining stuff method for your floors thank you.
Please everyone stop using vinegar and baking soda together! Once you add those two ingredients together, they completely neutralize each other. Just decide if you want an alkaline based cleaner or an acidic face cleaner, and choose either baking soda OR vinegar! Mixing them is POINTLESS.
Unfortunately, people aren't going to listen to you. I have been leaving comments on his or its videos saying the same thing about the vinegar and baking soda. 🙂
Thank you for this tip, m6 floors although clean don’t shine the way I wish they would. Typical products meant to shine the floor just put down a waxy substance that dirt will later stick to . Why I never use those, I will certainly try this method out .🥰
You waste both the baking soda and the vinegar by combining in a vessel (bucket, spray bottle.) They're both helpful in different ways alone or with detergent, but the reaction from combining them is only helpful if it occurs on the surface that the fizzing can help to clean. If the fizz is over there's nothing helpful left of either. Use the true original scrubbing bubbles where they can help.
When you mix vinegar and baking soda, you can see the reaction taking place - an effervescent reaction, similar to popping the cork from a champagne bottle with all the fizziness, and that's the part that helps to lift scale from kettles, burnt food leftovers on the sides of oven pans, greasy sinks, dirty washing machines, blocked drains, etc,. @rozenart5768
When the reaction is over all that's left from the vinegar and baking soda is water with a trace of salts, no functionally better for cleaning than ordinary tap water. The bubbles are carbon dioxide (like part of what you breathe out) which disperses into the surrounding air.
Yes that will clean things…. But if your surface isn’t naturally shiny… it will NOT leave it shiny at all.. clean yes… my laminate kitchen floor doesn’t naturally shine.. it’s brand new unshiny…
This will leave your floors slick and sticky just use a tiny bit of sals suds a few drop up to a teaspoon for a very large mop bucket. I normally don't use more than a half teaspoon you can do the same with a few drops of dawn if you don't want to buy something special for your floors.

This concoction is going to leave the floor very slippery. You will have to do one more plain water mop to remove the soap and the dirt that has been dislodged.
Way too much soap! Not needed. A teaspoon or less in a bucket is more than enough. Otherwise you leave a sticky residue that will attract dirt and leave a haze.
