I read your problem about a certain person. (I know different post) I just wanted to say I love your videos. You were my inspiration to get an xmaxx after not playing with RC since I was a teenager. I also got inspired by you to start my own channel and start making RC videos because I also think it is fun. Remember that some people have to crap on everything because they are of a certain hole which bad smells come from. You've got to keep on keeping on. Thanks for being you and I personally appreciate people that are as positive and real like you.

Anyone who thinks this was fake has never seen a Kevin Talbot bash vid. Finally overheated an esc with all that overgearing. About time. I think he just doesn't show us all the overheating that happens when you overgear rc's and just keep going. The high speed wind does tend to help some but it's not that good of a solution. Keep up the daily vids Kev. Me like it.
There's "Bashing" and then there's "Kev's Bashing". The two are worlds apart. Great vid Kev.

Quite possibly best RC video made EVER!! I was jumping some of mine the other day, all perfect jumps, put half the battery power in it and left a 7yo drive it... 5 mins later he hits a curb so perfectly and destroys 2 metal pieces that took 2 hours to fix with 2 people working on it! Bigger wheels and increasing gearing has never worked out well for me... had my first real ESC fire just the other day, 2 of the capacitors were incinerated and right after I took the body off the car as it was smoking the 3rd capacitor shot off the ESC like a bullet at me! I don't care I'm always going "Flat out"!
when in doubt go flat out! haha

They're just saying that because the Arrma fan boys get their panties in a bunch over it. Obviously they're fans of Arrma. That was pretty funny to see the Rustler break like that though.

I seen quite a few breaks. I nothing about Arrma never owned one. So I wont trashed. My Rustler has taken a beating, slash has, and T-Maxx. All stock accept the max. Seen Arrma in shops and they look no better than traxxas. All in all traxxas has to have something good going on to keep up its rep. Not to say karma doesn't deserve a good rep too. No matter what you drive it will freaking break at some point.
@@jafender Absolutely everything will break and that post wasn't about that. It was about the fact that they will make fun of Arrma for *anything* (loose a bolt because no locktite ? "arrma tough baby") and when a traxxas breaks they hide it and don't say a word or just say "It's still alive how can it be!?" like they're the 8th marvel of the world.
This is an old video though and
it started to get better in the latest videos, you don't hear as much "tongue in cheek" comments in the videos and the comment section has way less angry dudes, overall a better experience for everyone.
I don't care about Arrma or Traxxas, i own neither, if they started saying Traxxas are pieces of crap and Arrma's the best i would defend Traxxas.
@@daver18qc they only say arrma tough because it's a meme to them. Back in the day before arrma got its stuff together arrmas would break just by looking at them. Also they say arrma tough because it is quite literally arrmas slogan and they are just having a joke not having a go at the rc. At the end of the day they are only having a joke and a bit of fun. Btw the kids name is Clarke

Holy freaking moly!!! The amount of abuse that good quality RC's can take these days is really hard to fathom. When I first started out, I'd get excited if my car jumped 5-feet. Even now, I don't like jumping more than about 20-feet. Then I watch you and all your mates jumping over the moon, scaring birds, landing, driving away and doing it all over again and it really blows me away.
These RC’s are insane, I would be scared to jump it 8ft :0

One off the motor wires was broken that’s why it was playing up it’s all ready for round 2
Also the max had a broken rear bulkhead and receiver wire was lose all fixed see you soon 👍

@@KevinTalbotTV Kevin, I think you should copyright "Tested Talbot Tough", then sell your services to various RC companies as a test pilot. Only the BEST cars will get the "Tested Talbot Tough" printed on the box and you get a cut of the sales.

@@JohnConnor12 do what I did, watch Kevin's vids and Duperbashs vids. Somehow your balls will grow and you will gain great confidence and fly high like a bird up in the sky. Just do it and you will feel great, the faster you go the easier it gets actually. Momentum and inertia ,eventually skill.

My highest jump is around 13-15 feet in the air. Maybe 45 feet in distance..... landing on wheels is key! Happy jumping!!!

Got a tip for all of you. If you wheelie into a ramp, much of ur energy gets lost because your front wheels hit the ramp and dont roll onto it and thus transfer it "into" the ramp. If you hit a ramp with all 4 wheels touching the ground most of the energy gets smoothly directed upwards into your jump direction. Think of it like a swing set. The faster you swing the more it pushes you into the seat so the faster and smoother you hit it more energy goes into all 4 shocks instead of the front 2 because they hit it harder than the back 2 so the front 2 transfer a good amount of energy into the ramp instead of carrying it upwards. Hope this makes sense
