Wow. Great flutes. I would love to have one, but $67 shipping for a $10.00 flute😳 So unless I go to Bangladesh, not likely, it’s probably not going to happen!!!
I have no idea the value of a Bamboo Flute made in Bangladesh normally is. But if they're selling Clark Sweet Tones for over $21 (according to their website) it makes me wonder about the fair market value of their bamboo whistles / flutes
According to my calculations, they're selling these for 750 BDT which translates to about $8.85 US. Is this correct? That seems incredibly cheap for such an instrument. Additionally, are they reliable sellers?
Yes they are very reliable. This is the local price. The shipping charges might be a lot. The reason is because of availablity of raw materials in bulk and cheap labor.
I had a lengthy conversation with them on WhatsApp. They responded quickly. I requested F bass (low flute) straight flute and they said though not readymade but specially make for me. How convenient. I am ordering all 7, one in each key.
The transverse ones are more expensive than the mouth piece one. And woodwinds in asia are relatively cheap than in western countries because bamboos can be found everywhere and it doesn’t need much labour either

Interesting video - though using flutes from other countries raises issues of style. However, these instruments can clearly be very effective. The reverb added in your renditions made a very significant difference to the effect - very good.
