Great video! This is much easier than trying to read the user manual, seems pretty straightforward / about a half hour job for someone fairly competent.
Great job. Thank you! I was able to build it by myself, do a 45 minute burn in, make lunch, and break down all of the packaging to fit in the recycling bin, (which is no small feet by itself), all in 3 hours . I feel I had a big advantage because I had already built a smoke fire
There’s so much cardboard to breakdown! Yeah, not too far off from the Smokefire. This comes together faster than the Smokefire I think because you don’t have to tinker with the glow plug. Thank you for the super thanks. We really appreciate the support. Glad you found the video helpful. - Sam
Great video!! I just bought the Searwood 600 and have been watching videos to decide if I'm going to keep it and build it. Really appreciated the step by step tips on assembling the grill.
I will have a true review video ready in another week or so. We just got our cook unit middle of last week. Have tested a few foods but still have ribs and burgers to knock out. - Sam
Really enjoyed the video. Great job! For us novices, do you need to be connected to Wi-Fi to do the upgrade of the firmware ? Thanks again. I wish you were guys were located closer to where we are.
@@HCraigF you do need to be connected to the internet to update the firmware. Thank you. You can always support us with a small ‘super thanks’ if not local to us. A good majority of the people watching aren’t local to us so anything helps. - Sam
You're welcome. We'll have more videos coming soon that answer questions like this. Grills just started arriving this week so couldn't get any videos made ahead of time. Working on them as we speak! But to answer your question, the grates are plated steel. Not the same thing as stainless steel. - Sam
@@justgrillin I do intend to purchase the cast iron grill grates from the Weber Spirit gas grill E-310 as they fit exactly the Searwood 600. I did the exchange of the grill grates at Lowes to see if they were exchangeable with each other. They were exact,

Thank you. Yes. If you're accustomed to assembling things or working with tools, nothing crazy. Just takes your time is all.
