Thankyou for sharing your story, I have the same bacteria and I am in treatment ❤ By the way, I say this with all honesty, I think you have great potential for modeling.
@@tatahg934 Hi! I’m officially cured! The doctor prescribed something called Amoxicillin 1000mg. I took it and saw changes in 2weeks or so. Now I feel great and have 0 symptoms. 🩷
Hi, my results of PCR were positive for mycroplasma hominis and Ureaplasma parvum, since 2019 -2020 I have recurrent infection like you, so now my gynecologist told me that those results are an ETS, and prescribed me doxycycline, azithromycin, ceftriaxzone, but I will consult with other gynecologist, I feel so bad, because this infections had make my life hell. I'm from Ecuador and doctors don't know about this bacterias. Sorry for my English.
I had unprotected sex with a guy I was dating last year and 3 weeks later tested positive for BV and since then I couldn’t get rid of it. I hadn’t had sex for 6 months no matter what I did I couldn’t get rid of the BV. I begged the doctors to test me for mycoplasma and ureaplasma no one would. I had this going on 9 months and finally a doctor tested me and I was positive for ureaplasma now I’m taking doxycycline.
I had been having recurrent BV for over 6 years with no intercourse the whole time. I was at urgent care every month getting medication for it. It wasn't until the symptoms wouldn't go away that I went to 4 different urgent cares. The fourth one was the only one that tested for UP/UU. It's truly unbelievable how little doctors (specifically gynos) know about this infection. I hope you get better soon.
Hi, im in the same boat as you. I just want you to know how brave you are for sharing and taking charge of your own care. My gynecologists just "fired" me as a client because i complained that i wasn't happy with the fact that she didn't test me for ureaplasma/mycoplasma sooner. Now im on my third week of antibiotics, currently moxiflaxacin. I've already promised myself i won't have unprotected sex again because I've had to take so many drugs this past year. Sex was a trigger for my symptoms. Especially semen. Anyways, i hope you get resolution and your health back.
@celestialmind9506 hi, I am symptom free after two months. Tested negative for mycoplasma and ureaplasma urealyticulum. I am still positive for ureaplasma parvum. But I have a hunch to leave it alone since I am symptom free, and I am worried doing more drugs will only do more harm than good as this bacteria is difficult to control.
Have you considered vaginal pH changes from perimenopause hormone changes causing Bv and ureaplasma overgrowth? Well, this is what I sim up as to what is going on with me. I have been having sex with my current partner for the past 3 years and no issue at all. Now that my perimenopausal symptoms have been super active, I got BV and ureaplasma parvum, even with the same partner. I had him get tested for BV, ureaplasma and gonorrrhea/chlamydia but all negative. I was glad his doctor was kindly amenable to do this for us. I believe it’s from vaginal atrophy due to low estrogen. I will do better about using my vaginal estrogen cream regularly and hopefully will keep the BV and ureaplasm parvo from overgrowth. By the way, my treatment was azithromycin 1g once, followed by Moxifloxacin for 7 days.
What do you know about BV in men? Am I carrier, can I infect others and how is it treated? My doctor prescribed probiotics and I was relaxed that I didn't have the bad stuff, but recently I remembered I have something and started to worry about it again

hello. How is moxiflaxacin working so far? Is it better than doxycycline when treating UP? Would really appreciate a reply tnx!
Yes you need to push for Urea plasma testing or just go somewhere else until you find someone that does. That's what I had to do unfortunately.
Please let us know how you are now

@celestialmind9506 I did doxy 7 days and Moxy 3 days. I got scared and stopped early.
So far, no regrets. I am just happy to be symptom free.
