Do you know of any way to take control of my 2.3 ecu? I’m also in Colorado and I have a 2007 Mazda 6i, I would really love to put a little more power in it and maybe mess with the exhaust a bit but It’s old so I want to have a proper tune up before I start changing fuel air ratio and exhaust flow.
Get an Accessport, by far the easiest way to tune, and it comes with off the shelf tunes from Cobb.
those drilled rotors look like someone literally just drilled random holes in a stock disc and drilled discs are prone to cracking should have got some legit brakes dimpled and grooved or something these cars are heavy you shouldn't mess around with brakes

I just got my ms6 and theres a brand new engine with 2300 miles but the used ko4 is starting to go out. Do you think the corksport turbo would be a suitable replacement since I wont need a tune? I'm looking for a little more power not necessarily a crazy build
Corksport will be better than the k04 best bet for most performance will be the Garrett or BNR brands.

somewhat yeah. they aren't the easiest platforms to work around and there are parts that can be expensive for sure to be honest with you. just depends on the budget 18 inch tires are more expensive good oil can get up there that sort of thing!

Yeah they're expensive to maintain, when I pushed hpfp, Cobb tip/sri, 3"dp w/ custom exhaust, full etune on E30, dual bov/bpv, 1 step colder plugs. Maintenance was plugs every 6000 miles, oil every 3k, lube bov every oil change. Also not the best gas mileage on k04.

Actually cx racing core is still better then that oem shitty top mount i had cx racing core with bnr s4 and my car survived. Piping was reused for tr8 later on
