    Cool Video!
    When you do treatments like this its best to clarify your hair first so the proteins can bond to all the spots on your hair strands. Washing your hair twice will help clarify it, no need to buy a special shampoo. Wash hair once then rinse, wash a second time and leave it in a few minutes, 3 to 5 is fine, then rinse, dry and gently de tangle and finally.....proceed with treatment! Putting step 1 into a spray bottle makes applying it a lot easier

    My hair has lost nearly all my curly pattern especially towards the roots on sides and back section 😞 Im pretty sure it's desperate for some protein as I've not had any in my CG routine/products. This video is a game changer I'm ordering aphogee 2 step now. Thanks 👏😍x

    • @rachaelkennedy2134
      @rachaelkennedy2134 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @uh yes and no 🤣 but that's nothing to do with the product! Instantly made my hair more plumped and just felt thicker but still won't hold my Curl pattern!
      Turns out I've had blood tests done and I'm severely anaemic (low b12, low iron, low folic acid & vitamin d) so would explain the hair loss, texture change & dull hair 😭

    Hi thanks for this video I’m about to do this as I’ve bleached my hair myself and my hair looks like wool!!! Your hair looks amazing!!! How long does it last?

    • @mariedevere1232
      @mariedevere1232  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for watching (sorry I've been MIA LOL) So in my opinion, I think you need to do it one time and follow up with a deep conditioning treatment at least once a week for a month. See how your hair feels and looks at that point and then do this treatment again! And then as your hair gets stronger and grows you shouldn't need to do it as often. Hope that helps!!

    • @mariedevere1232
      @mariedevere1232  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bella B hey girl! If you haven’t used this treatment before I highly suggest starting off by leaving it in for 15 minutes max and seeing how your hair reacts. If you notice your hair isn’t as moisturized as you would like apply more and go from there! I’m sure your hair will be fine 💕

    Can I do this right after I bleach my hair?

  • @xxo5294

    This made my hair crumble to the touch and in one day I lost half or over half of my hair to breakage. I was not using any other protein products

    • @Katrn30
      @Katrn30 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have read to not touch your hair at all as it dries on your hair…the hair is fragile with the mixture on it. It is essential to use the moisturizer immediately after.

    • @xxo5294
      @xxo5294 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Katrn30 I did not touch it while it was drying, it didn’t break off in that moment. It broke off the next day. Literally crumbling when I touched it. It was horrible. I did moisturize after, I followed all the instructions and I had definitely not been using protein before so it was not a protein overload.
      My hair is settled back in using only redken acidic bonding complex and K18. Olaplex was no help either.

    • @Katrn30
      @Katrn30 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@xxo5294 omg, that is horrible! It is the next day for me, so I hope my hair doesn’t do like yours did. Olaplex works great for me. I think maybe it’s time to stop highlighting my hair. I’m glad you were able to fix your situation.

    Why did you use a diffuser if you're just trying to get the hair dry? It would be quicker without the diffuser attachment on.

    • @iamnotsomething3027
      @iamnotsomething3027 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Diffuser gently dries the hair without disrupting the curls. It also doesn't apply strong heat to a single concentrated section that will damage hair.

    Hello! How long do the effects last? Do they disappear after a couple of washes?

    • @mariedevere1232
      @mariedevere1232  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mochi Wulong For me, I need to do this treatment once every 6 weeks to continue seeing great results. I also use a deep conditioner twice a week to give my hair all of the moisture it needs!

    • @ameetam2349
      @ameetam2349 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      i’ve done this treatment about 3 times, every 4-6 weeks is what works for me. my hair is around a 3a with some wavier and curlier pieces. my hair was genuinely destroyed after bleach and this has helped so much. my hair feels stronger and healthier, not just curlier. i use a deep conditioner at least once a week to balance out the added protein, after 3 months since my colouring service my hair is SO much better. you do need to be patient, for me results only started to show after the second treatment.
      hope this helps x

    Can you scrunch your hair while putting the protein in to help get curl pattern back??

    • @savannahmancuso2965
      @savannahmancuso2965 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve done this, but it honestly didn’t make a difference. The protein will get into your hair either way. It’s not like a perm (not changing the chemical structure), the protein will not make the shape stay in the position you dry it in, if that makes sense.

    I heat damaged my curls and now they’re straight and falling out, Will this save them ?

    • @Mandoxc
      @Mandoxc 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it'll help restore some of the protein and bounce, but heat damaged hair will most likely need to be cut off

    • @mariedevere1232
      @mariedevere1232  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Restoring protein in your hair will definitely help fight the effects you have from heat damaging your hair. Make sure to follow up with a deep conditioner to really get that moisture back in your hair 💕

    • @mariedevere1232
      @mariedevere1232  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I liked this more because my hair lacks protein and this has sooo much protein in it. Plus it’s super affordable! I say try this out and if you don’t like it then try olaplex. Olaplex is good just too expensive for me 😅😅
