Taylor tried to escape the palace at first. I never understood why Taylor never really told the part where she tried to escape but Prince Omar had guards placed outside her room. It's so frustrating to watch her not explain any of that.
i agree it was very much downplayed how Omar kept her away . And when the James incident was revealed in the 00s , the circumstances of how it happened again was very downplayed.

Omar played with Taylor's emotions and made her see things completely differently than they were. It's only when Taylor met Ridge in the hospital and saw his dependence on her, that she understood how wrong she had been in not telling Ridge the truth.

She had plenty of problems. Taylor had tried to conceive with Ridge for years but it never took. When she finally got pregnant with Thomas it was rather considered a miracle. And then I guess she kind of made up for it by having twins the following year. LOL
Stephanie’s wish washiness is good for a change…but then she will flip when Brooke, rightly doubtful of Stephanie and her feelings and her need for security as CEO of FC, does not sign over the stock…it is as Ridge said if Stephanie were truly accepting of Brooke the Forrester’s still have 100% of the stock…it is just Brooke and Ridge decide what to do with it…these were the best years for the company when Taylor was gone…

@@bonniek5331 her first death was a leave of absence while she was filming a movie.. it was always plannee to be a “temporary death”, her second death was the the writers deciding to kill off the character because they ran out of ideas of what to do with the character and i think they didnt want to break up Tridge and the family with divorce. They brought Hunter back 2 years later because lets face it , Brooke alone can’t carry the show , bur HT wanted more compelling storylines and Taylor be more of a flawed character
