I watch this old show from 2015 and I absolutely love how Stephanie hugged and loved seeing Taylor. It was so refreshing to see a mother in law with her daughter in law at such great and affection for each other!!
It is so nice to see a consumate professional act. I love Susan Flannery. Bell Sr. was so brilliant to cast her in this role. She can make any script look look good.
I was so happy when Taylor came back, I started watching the show again. But I became thoroughly disgusted with the story lines Booby Bell wrote for this character. It became pretty apparent he was hell bent on destroying a much loved character and the legacy of Tridge.
Yes so much so I had to stop watching...from these few scenes onwards the show me bored to tears..😫🥺 I began to despise Ridge & I already hated Brooke so.....

It’s not the best plastic surgery one could get, but let’s not forget that a number of other actresses on this show have gotten a fair share of plastic surgery as well. They had certainly lots of fun turning these scenes with all these people being shocked by seeing Taylor back....it was not acting....they just repeatet how they reacted when they saw Hunter Tylo coming back at the B&B set .....l'm sure they ALL have been scared to death when she showed up....and KKL happy that the most beautiful girl of the show had disappeared
So the writers had no problem do the exact same thing again where Taylor comes back from the dead while Ridge is married to Brooke who says he should stay with her because of their family and he has to choose between them , and it once again had to do with Omar who for some reason wasn’t charged for kidnapping and stuff, even this they didn’t change
Damn, but Susan Flannery is good. Everytime I watch a scene with her I'm more impressed with her talent. Did she ever have an unconvincing scene in her whole career?
You could visibly see on screen as Hunter was on the show prior to Susan leaving that the same chemistry they had in scenes back then faded slowly away as she an Katherine became closer.
My favorite part of this Taylor returns storyline is that the show FINALLY pulled her off of her pedestal after years of her sitting in hypocritical judgment of everyone else, especially Brooke. I LOVED how Bell finally let her get her hands dirty and be scandalous instead of making KKL having to constantly carry this show and all of the scandal. Taylor fans think the show caters to Brooke now, but Brooke fans lived through 2 DECADES of this show completely catering to Taylor and Stephanie before that.
This reminds me of the time when they took Genie Francis off GH, and she was SUPPOSEDLY kidnapped by that Stavros character, she left the show to go to drug rehab.
Geez looking back maybe Taylor should have stayed with Omar. At least he put her first. Before anyone starts yelling, I mean still make sure her family knew she was alive but without the reunion with Ridge the Waffle King.
This is the folly of b and b in rehashing an old storyline. It was great writing and acting that made the drama of Omar and the Arabian Knights succeed but redundancy is just laziness from b and b and disrespect for thrir audience who are not stupid.
