Epsom not being in London is a giant scam. We're called "The London Borough of Epsom and Ewell", yet if you work in Epsom you pay higher rates on train commutes and you don't get the London weighting pay top up. I work in the Sainsburys in Epsom, one of the top three, if not the biggest supermarket in country, easily taking £1-2mill in trading every week, and we get paid less per hour than the handful of people who work in the small Sainsburys Local store literally 10minutes down the road in Ewell Village. F-ing Chris Grayling for a decade in the oughts campaigned on getting Epsom put into the London region for trains. The clown was the transport secretary for a bit for crying out loud, and it never happened. Nothing would make me happier to see that buffoon kicked out this election. Sadly, this area is the literal Tory heart, so I'm not confident even with all the Tory meltdown he can be removed >_>.
I prefer the term ‘football costumes’ which is made up of a ‘football T-shirt’ and ‘football trainers’. It turns out that the nicest costume isn’t necessarily the team that’s top of the football charts.
Inflation down to 2% is in no way a red alert for Labour prospects. The reason is a drop to that level doesn’t change how people feel with cash in their pocket. That feeling is more real than an announcement
I think the background needs a collection of road signs that were dredged up from a canal or a river filled with sewage overflow of the local water company. A true art piece that reflects the spirit of the hosts struggling to make sense of the state of society around them.
@@0w784g Coventry has a moderate bus service but London has the Tube which is SOOOO convenient. Like one train every 3-4 minutes vs 1 bus every 20-25. The difference is night and day. You can do so much more in a day if you don't drive
@@tbrooke3016 It effectively is a different country. It has it's own pay and renumeration, it's own economy, it's own political preferences and frankly its own increasingly non-native populace.

As well as places outside of the M25 that should be/are classed as London, there are also places inside the M25 that shouldn't be/aren't classed as London. Dartford!
When are we having the very serious conversation about transport in East Yorkshire and which districts constitute as Hull? Is it only what's connected to the A63?
12:20 it's funny when politicians will follow the "will of the people"™ when it's bad for them but not when it's good for the masses. That aside, the people can be wrong! Voting doesn't mean you're right, it's lending consent, which ought to be withdrawn too.
John Redwood ex MP "Brexit has given us important wins already. We are not burdened with the large new debts the EU is taking out and we no longer have to make big payments into the budget. We are free to choose our own laws and taxes. Time to use our freedoms more."
As a tube purist, neither the overground nor the DLR are tubes. The overground has overheard electrical power so is not a tube, and the DLR by definition is light rail, again not a tube. Tubes are distinctly powered by a third rail power system, and for this reason the Elizabeth line is also not a tube. Sorry
I only watch because of Ava. She's gorgeous and intelligent. I think the three of you together are all funny and entertaining so she has to be on the 200th.
There's a slight variation on the second option (in regards to Billionaires switching donations from Conservative's to Labour) - The Billionaires think that Labour's policies are close enough to Conservative ideals that they feel comfortable switching allegiance, knowing it buys access to power as well.
This tight angle on Oli is getting closer and closer Eventually it will go up his nose and we'll be introduced to the herd of beavers and slugs that have been operating him for the last 4 and a half years
Labour might be able to get some Red Wall voters back by saying "Tories did you dirty, Brexited wrong, we'll fix it." But only on the doorstep/at local hustings. Ava is right that no candidate should mention it in an interview, because it'll just suck the oxygen out of the room.
Brexit is just moving power from the EU Superstate to Westminster. You still have to VOTE in a positive government. Look at the EU, it's moving populist Right with every election.
Corbyn should of accepted the result of the Referendum and set out an alternative direction. He was anti EU all his political life just like his hero Tony Benn.
I was a bit confused at the beginning, so I just resorted to my default position of PJ's presenters being allowed to take mescaline. Things were fine after that. And not sure about the camera work...it reminds me of the stuff my class did at college for our City&Guilds in Film and TV.
It's quite a funny "coincidence" that the chancellor hasn't been able to manage inflation for four years, but as soon as a general election comes into view, he miraculously gets it under control.
Brexit? What nobody in the room is willing to say including farage, is that the United States is not going to give the UK a free trade deal anytime soon they haven't even given the European Union a free trade deal.
Buy tickets to our live show at the Apollo Theatre on June 30 here: nimaxtheatres.com/shows/politicsjoe-live/
30th of June or July?
now I need to buy more tickets for the same show, just because you decided to change the date without telling anyone?!
That is a distressingly magnified close up of Oli. I feel uncomfortable.
Funny though
Make the close-up closer!
Came here to say this 😂
I came looking for this. I wasn’t disappointed.
i feel like that type of closeness needed consent.
1) Sack off the fake plants and get some real ones
2) Close ups of Oli aren't close up enough
They hated him for he told the truth
We want Ava on the 200th episode 😊
And to try some smoked salmon.
@@stuartwilson4705agreed to both Ava being there and the smoked salmon 👍
Because without her they talk nothing but non-sense. amazingly we still watch. 😅
How are they going to watch Dune 2 without her?
Ava has to be on the 200th episode, othervise who is going to speak for reform?!
Whats with all the awkward Oli close ups 😂
I think they just bought a second camera 📷 and have to justify it in the edit.
Been watching too much Channel 5 news
Unless rent and mortgages plummet before the election, the inflation rate is meaningless
You guys really need to watch some jay foreman unfinished London
Eva is the best of you. Actually understands politics. She has to be on the 200th.
Implying that the boys don’t? I think they do, it’s just easy for them to get sidetracked
They understand politics, they just prefer talking about the underreported issues such as piss and "what can Oli do with his feet"
Ava*
You're not catching me out, I shall not be sharing my route. In honour of my Opsec icon Ed
Very good 👏
🙌🙌🙌

PLEASE DON'T BUY PLASTIC PLANTS. KEEMON ollie you stand for the environmental issues we face.
whoever edited this one was absolutely merciless to Oli
You have to appreciate the irony that the first prop you get for your set is long grass

I don't mind Oli's close-ups but where are Ava's? Where's the equality here?

I must have clicked on Oli cam in error
Drop the link for tickets to the live show pleeeeeeeease
Love the extra zoom cam now and then LOL. You're both very clever 🙏
put the ferns in the seats then you stand behind them

Draining the swamp, wood for the trees, that green screen visual has legs!
Okay. So I just took my glaucoma medicine and the first few minutes of this was trippy as badger badminton.
We want Ava to participate! 😂
I think the close ups are funny
5:06 “Watch this, Lise. You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half!”
I've been into London for the day from Coventry. It feels like flying to a different country with infrastructure and public transportation
Have you never been before?

Ollie slowy turning the studio into a small holding
You don't commute to London you commute to WORK. I agree with Ava
did they actually mention where to buy a ticket?
Nope, again 👀
Always wondered what the pores on Ollies face would look like up close.
🤣
Incredible how downhill the OpSec gets when Ed is away. Full routes to the event? Crazy.
More £s in the budget for staging and props following the Reuters ranking I see 👀. We going up in the world.
10:44 love the self soothing nose stroking of Oli.
Don't like that the plants are directly behind each person, looks weird. Have them more on the outside of the person, frames it better
No Ava no party, save it for Monday
Which one of them is Joe?
Joe Mama
Both. They're all Joe
*We're all Joe
I genuinely thought Oli’s name was Joe for a while when I first started watching
@@tobypettit6417 (so did I) 🤫
Epsom is not in a London Borough.....
Something I've often wondered is what the numbers mean on the backs of the football suits
Please move the plants further to the sides of the frame and not directly behind you. Thanks
Amazing Oil cam content, please provide one for every member in the future
Oli looks cool today
Plants are fine but the placement is off- looks like they’re growing out of your heads.

Damn the close ups on Oli when he’s being sassy is slayyyy
loving the olly closeups 🤣
The English got the Brexit they deserved
You trusted two known liars.
Have the tickets been released for the live show ?
Every time the mega close up happened I was expecting the music from the dramatic gopher meme...
To be pedantic it's Bamboo.
Also it initially looked like to big cannabis plants.
is it (k)not weed? ,, lol
I don't see the resemblance

Surely ýou spotted that before now, I did haha just wish he would drop the caps and show his nice hair off more.

Labour M.P. Stella Creasy has made some v. sensible comments on a recent podcast about Brexit. Food for thought for these who are pro Europe/ Trade.

The plant on the left, I'm fairly sure it's cotton.😂
Love the Witcher 1 close-ups on Ollie, feel like Ava should have a few as well for equality sake
Ava closeup when?
Ava is on fire today😂
Underground, overground, Wombling free... oh, sorry, flashbacks.
Day 30 of asking for a production team mic 🎉
Ava should participate!
My question for the 200th show , why the clap at the start
Really beating the London-centric allegations 💀💀💀
I can't understand why your show is being broadcasted?
Those close-ups are tickling my fancy ^^
can we only have Ava on monday? is that an option
Ava and Laura episode…?
Would be good for you to do something in the Midlands
the wierd green glow on the hair is what always made me think it could be a greenscreen
Central London? I don't even know where that is!
says less about tories and more about where Labour has moved, this donor trotts out the usual crap of "expelling loony lefties" etc.
Labour Party closer to the Bankers than the Unions? Surely not!
This tight angle on Oli is getting closer and closer

Won't be disclosing my travel arrangements for op sec

the epsom and ewell lore from ava was great
the oli close-ups will only be close enough when I can see into his soul x

Kingston is London, it ain’t no commuter town. If Kingston is one, so is Croydon
Conversation about where London starts and ends is not politics (or interesting).
NO!
Schtoppit!
The podcast playlist says theres been 134 episodes. The episode title says #70. They're telling me it's nearly the 200.
