Try out a 2015+ Focus ST. They changed some of the rear suspension components and reduced the oversteer. I have a 2018 and remember reading that about the facelift.
I sold my FiST a year ago for a Focus RS but honestly I do miss my little pocket rocket. The RS is fantastic but the FiST is as fun if not more fun. By the way, Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust has a great, aggressive tone and no drone except for 1st gear in a parking lot and even then it is very little.
Fiesta St’s are such quirky cars but so awesome! Very tiny, but packs a mighty punch!!! This thing would be such a great daily as well getting decent fuel econ and fun to never get bored of it !
There’s a guy here at my local autocross that runs one of these. He absolutely dominates in this little car. His only mod is a set of 200tw tires. I absolutely hate competing against this little shit demon. They are so annoyingly fast because they weigh nothing, take corners like nobody’s business while lifting up a rear tire at every turn.
@@greatferrarimasterplan4836 I just really hate how fast these cars are at autocross. It is almost unfair what they can do with minimal modifications. I’m sure on an actual race track they would fall behind for lack of hp, but with autocross they are essentially like Agent Smith from the matrix, they can bend the laws of physics. Lol
@@postalpancho A lot of the autocross in my area is full of high powered straights. HP dominates here in the series. On the occasion that it's a very tight track it'll do really well, but otherwise it cannot keep up at all, and modifying one gets even worse as it cannot compete in STH as it's power and tire limited where the other cars are not.
Wanting to sell mine to get a JDM Civic Type R FD2 just not sure if a smart move lol -- FIST is just such an amazing cheap fun practical car! Great content thank you
I have a modded mazda3 hatch but the fiesta st is my spirit animal. I even pulled the spare tire and rear seats for weight reduction and got lightweight wheels and summers. In your opinion is it worth switching from 340tw to 200tw tires for a daily driver that might see an occasional HPDE? In Florida so no concern with colder climates. I do have an extra set of wheels atm but not sure I'll really have room to keep them both long term. I should note that the better 300tw tires are not available in 215/45R18 unfortunately.
hello which models of mazda have you ( year and motor ) , do u think a M3 is more fun a civic 10 1.5 turbo or mercedes A 250 2013 ? ( i have this car now )
@@Etonnantnon 2018 2.5l I'm not familiar with the Mercedes. I think the 10th gen Civics have a little bit better chassis and stock suspension but the motor doesn't have any character and it is not as fun imo. I have the 6 speed auto which is way more enjoyable than the CVT but both manuals are good.
@@Etonnantnon We don't get any French cars in the US. I know what you mean though. They handle really well with an upgraded rear sway bar but you really need one to get that rotation. The 2.0l isn't bad, they do alright with a tune and throttle controller and are a little bit lighter.
Was the 2015 too stiff? I’m looking into getting a 15 fiST. I had a 14 FoST but it was very heavily modified, I’m thinking the FiST will be the perfect match of fun, reliable, and usable
@@ValkenDnB i dont know about current gen civic but last gen (10th, FK) had bad rev hang lol fiesta st is quicker on the drop, that i can say for sure.
These fiesta vids make me so indescribably happy
Gives me some pride in the car I own and love
watching a guy who flogs mclarens/porsches, be in absolute joy over the FIST is why i watch this channel.
Third Fiesta ST video in like a month, every video is KILLING me.... making me know I want another one in my life. Good video as always sir!
I own a 95 Miata and a 16 Fiesta st and I completely agree that this is like a front wheel drive Miata.
A father/son vid on Father’s Day. Cool!
Happy Father’s Day!

The passenger had a death grip on the door handle😆. Love these cars. Happy Father’s Day gents
I love my go kart! ...I mean Fiesta ST. It's such a blast to drive. I really don't think I'll ever get rid of it. It's just that fun to drive.
The focus and fiesta are amazing in all forms can’t go wrong if you want a small fun to drive car
I had a focusST and swapped to fiestaST as it just handled better with pretty much the same space, slightly smaller obviously but .. feels the same

If you want a Fiesta ST exhaust that doesn’t drone, Thermal R&D and FSWerks are your best options (zero drone, quieter than most aftermarket exhausts)
I have the Thermal R&D and can confirm no drone. 😎
I have a milltek non res race on mine and it’s just the best.
@@zackdlbest exhaust!! It doesn't upset my neighbours but it sounds great when you give it some BEANS

Gonna be getting my 2018 Recaro package ST this Sunday and I’m stoked! Coming from an NA Miata
Bro this car is insane! 👌💪🏼💯
Just checked fiesta st used car value they r same as MSRP OMG with 50k mileage on
yup, Used market is insane.
Never stop making videos, and i would like to see some 2007 to 2015 cars to be tested by you mostly toyota and nissan.

Penske 2-ways on a Fiesta, good lord. The dampers are probably worth almost as much as the car, haha.
Traded a ‘15 FiST for an ND2 Miata club, I still miss my FiST sometimes, such a fun little car

The cross weight of this car is one of the best from factory. Think it’s within 2% left to right
@TheTopher between this and a used GT86 which one would you choose as a fun cars to use on road?
The fiesta st stock is near perfect
Dude what's the tire and rim size that's important!
What size tire was on there 205/215/225/235?
It’s sad they discontinued this car
Did you notice Rev hang? That to me is a noticeable difference between this and the focus st
It’s similar to the civic si
@@ValkenDnB i dont know about current gen civic but last gen (10th, FK) had bad rev hang lol fiesta st is quicker on the drop, that i can say for sure.
You need to tune it out, this is highly common with turbo cars older than 2020. It is a dumb emissions thing.
@@flush_entity it’s a little less rev hang on the si due to the single mass flywheel but it’s still there. A simple OTS tune will remove it
3v mustang review plz I love mine
These cars were meta not too long ago for HS. But the 10th gen Civic Sport hatch seems to be the new meta for HS.
The FiST!
I think your next car should be a Chrysler Pacifica
