This is my daughters (3 years old) favorite song. Her and her dad are HUGE Fall Out Boy fans!! He would constantly ask me, "Would you rather be a widow, or a divorcee?" I would tell him a divorcee because you would still at least be alive!! Well, unfortunately he passed away June 2023. And to answer FOBs question, I would rather be a divorcee ANYDAY!! This is horrible and I do not wish the pain of a widow on anyone. RIP Thomas #Forever40
I honestly just figured that it was in grayscale because they're a great rock band and they can do what they want. It's cool regardless Lol, But thank you for the explanation.
This is indeed a very good song from them. but there are like more than 20 fall out boy songs that is WAYYYY more underrated than this. Stop calling everything underrated, it's like you don't know what it means. Have a nice day!
Nobody performs or they rarely do and only simplified versions (simplified chorus texture and chord guidelines, only the base has to be near perfect) studio recordings are made up of hundreds of individual recordings pasted together
Mauro Castillo is right, this song doesn't sound like this at all live. This and many of their new songs would be impossible to play live unless you got 10 more band members and cloned Patrick a few times, but that's what happens when you give a band a record label, a producer, and a studio. Songs from Take This To Your Grave are nearly identical to the recording when they're live because that was simpler times I guess.
I'm genuinely curious about what the PowerPoint was about because that sounds awesome lol. This song feels pretty timeless to me as an ancient 33 year old.
I don't care if this came out in 2009, this is still relevant and the boys are still amazing and people who say they're selling out seriously need to get a life.
Especially now more then ever with fake fans comparing patty’s weight to the quality of music and saying their new album is made to fit with “popular” music whenever I see a bad comment calling fall out boy fake and a sell out I send a link to this video it makes me so angry and so sad fall out boy strives to do the best they can and be happy doing so
2009? And I still watch their "sugar we'll going down" at that time?Damn, I feel so old fashioned... Wait, that time when people in my country still using old nokia phone, blackberry, and iphone 3 is still expensive stuff... That's relieved.
My first ever favourite band. These guys music truly helped me get through my childhood a bit. There old songs are a big part of my happy place when I'm feeling down.
@@kingkrysenI was 6 in 2006 when I first heard of them thanks to my stepmom being a big fan. They were my escape band during hard times since the first day I've heard of them.
I think that "seasons change but people don't" is more about how people stay fundamentally the same people, even when they act different or dress different or are interested in different things, that doesn't mean it is a new person, you haven't lost them, they are just in a different season of their life.
For the entire age group of people roughly a decade or so behind me, I'd like to sincerely apologize for not being interested in, or appreciating, the music from this amazing band. I didn't give any of their music a chance until I was in my very late twenties... And went through the most painful breakup I've ever had, go figure right? Here I am now in my mid 40s, jamming out with one of my two favorite bands of all time. I was VERY late on Fall Out Boy... And I'm so sorry for doubting. Cheers!
I think it's amazing how they've transitioned and played with different sounds over the years. They've been amazing at everything they've ever done and I'm glad they've never let the feedback they recieve discourage them from making more music. Fall Out Boy, you'll ALWAYS be great, no matter what you do.
''Baby, seasons change but people don't.'' Yes, that's pretty much true. What the song is saying is personality wise, most people don't change. If you know someone right now that is very kind and helpful, they'll probably still be the same way 30 years from now. That's just who they are. The same is someone is rude and ignorant. A lot of comments hating FOB's new music are using that as an excuse to say they should have never changed. But look guys, they haven't. The guys are all still the same, all still there for us and continuing to make music for us. That's what they meant here, and they were right. People don't change but music evolves all the time. Please don't be angry with them because they simply want to try new things. If you truly are a fan of FOB you'll be as understanding with them as they are with us. Nothing's changed, they just sound a lil different :)
Isn't the whole point of this video them saying that they HAVE changed? Cause they said that....in this video... that opening line was sarcasm....??? O.o Most people do change in ways. Not their whole personality, but noone is the same person at 50 they were at 15. Experience and wisdom won't let you stay the same. Just like them...
Yeah, that works too. I'm just saying that at the end of the day, no matter how much they've changed, they're still...the same. Do you know what I mean? And unlike people, music changes rapidly. People change slowly and not so drastic but music is this living, breathing thing that morphs over night. I don't think they were being sarcastic, but it's lyrics so you could read it anyway you want! This is just my opinion :)
I sometimes feel like I'm the only fan that truly appreciates the new and old Fall Out Boy sound, you can't expect them to make the same exact songs and albums forever.. However the music's changed, they're still the same Fall Out Boy who made these songs and that has never changed. c:

Don't pretend you ever forgot about me
We don't fight fair
Don't pretend you ever forgot about me
We don't fight fair
Seriously I know all of FOB's songs. I used to be obsessed when I was younger. I just stumbled upon them and started to listen to them again. Seriously I love these guys. From under the cork tree was the best album by far.
Infinity on High was leagues better.
I wish that song could tell the crowds that about Folie.
i will never get over young alex wolff in this
I wish that all the people who are complaining *now* about fall out boy changing would go back and watch this.
Same.
exactly
Ikr I was thinking the same thing
they honestly should :/
They need to bring this song back cause it seems a lot of their "fans" act like how the croud of people were.
yeah
So true, it's sad
+Владимир Владимирович Путин Ur calling this music bad? If so, why did u come here? Don't come back, and keep ur mean opinions to urself
+Makenna Phelan dude, do you think he was being serious? also he has a right to express his opinion, even if you dislike it.
+Cassie Atkinson He could have been a bit less rude and homophobic about it though.
One of the most important albums in my development as a musician.
We don't fight faaaaiiiiiirrrrrrr 🎙️🎶
This track has a killer bass and guitar riff.
Whenever I hear people call FoB sellouts I almost cry bc one, they've helped me through a lot and two, like the puppy dog said, people change and you need to accept that, besides, you can look up their old stuff.
Pete is too beautiful in this video
Just tell me I'm not the only one cried when "We do it in the dark with smiles on our faces". I don't know why that lyrics feels so beautiful to me
I received this album for my 8th birthday in 2007. I thought it was something id never forget. I was right. Almost 15 years later, it randomly came into my mind that this album existed. The nostalgia is unreal and the memories are erupting. Such a good time to be alive at that age.. I miss it :(
"Oh Nostalgia, I don't need you anymore".
(But I still want the nostalgia around. This song is amazing.)
Why is no one talking about the guy at 1:00???? I keep coming back to this music video because of him!
the dog is awesome
Here's to everyone who survived their teens (relatively unscathed) & has music like this to thank for it.
We're still here 🤘
Pete Wentz brings about that eternal battle within me, shortness vs hotness
The weary look at the end says so much
i gotta admit that dogs kinda cute
our icons match omg
omg we r meant 2 be
ya'll are phan-mates. see what i did there? i'll leave.
I love AmazingPhil!

11 years ago I was in high school so addicted to Fall Out Boy, now I'm 28 and still in love with F.O.B.😘💜
Back then the music was real music
I'm not "hi", but I swear it took me longer than it should've to decipher your sentence. I was so impressed that you were an 11 year old high schooler for a good minute and a half, like "Wow, even prodigies have time for music."
talaga lang ha
It's 11:39 pm and my dog is whining and whimpering and moving around in her sleep.. I know what she's dreaming of now
"Seasons change but people dont" havent been emo since high school but here I am at 20 years old watching fall out boy music videos
October 2022, I was riding my bike listen to this singing at the top of my lungs and just can say how good it is ❤️
That's rad, man!
Hell yeah
