It was a mess less than a year after our first child was born. Just. Don't. Do. It. You can do white with all the easily cleaned surfaces, but not the carpet or furniture.

Kids are usually walking around by one, both of my girls took their first steps at 8 months and was hobbling around at 10 months, walking "professionally" by one. White furniture isn't the best with toddlers. Take it from someone with two kids. Don't waste your money. No matter how clean you are, your white couch will no longer be white a few months after he starts walking, even before then with the spit up and ect. Exactly! Spit up, sticky hands while pulling up and cruising, spilled drinks - even sippy cups leak, muddy shoes, etc. You name it, it will be on the white furniture faster than you can blink!

i know you guys probably know and will do your research but please be extra careful when you fly the dogs to maui. it can be very dangerous and i've read so many horror stories. make sure the airline is nice and takes care of the animals they fly. also alexa we NEED a skin care routine your skin is flawless!

Mom of 3 kids 4 years & under here. Seriously white everything is a horribly bad idea lol. Especially furniture. If they can crawl, they can get into things, & it only gets worse from there. So you've got probably another 6-8 months until it gets real messy lol. We have white walls too because we live in military housing, & I can't tell you how often I clean drink splatters & drawings off the walls. Gotta agree with Los on this one. Congratulations to your sister on her marriage & prayers for good news from her doctor!

If you want furniture that won't get stained too bad for kids I highly suggest having leather couches/chairs that can be wiped down much better and not get too stained even if the couch is lighter. I think a cream or tan like color would probably be better if you want want lighter colors.
I thing you guys should do white floors and ceilings, and then light yellowish-orange walls, with a mix of white and tan or black furniture.. that would be perfect for a toddler, because it doesn't stair so easy, and it is great for the sunshine and environment of Hawaii
I love the idea of white everything... however Carlos does have some good points about Ocean! I think a good compromise would be a softer wall color, still bright but not necessarily white. Some white furniture but get a little funky with decorating. I love to see a white house with amazing colorful art pieces and decor. It really makes a room pop with colorful accent pieces!! Compromise! Lol love you guys! Hope that helps! :)
I have been doing my research lately and I find you guys really inspiring, so I was thinking Maybe on Sundays instead or adding to a vlog on that day you guys do a video on your channel talking about what God and the Bible says on issues in the world today. (There are many so you probably don't need me to give you ideas lol) You guys are incredibly inspiring making marriage and faith work in today's day and age being young. So hereunto from people who live it can be incredibly inspiring to others who look up to you or watch your videos. Just a thought :)
I hope you find everything you want and hoped for in Maui.❤ Also I have a toypoodle and my dog also gets the weird tangled up hair on his body. I am also allergic to normal haired dogs like Alexa. What really works for me to not get the sneezing attacks when he needs to be shaved, is to do it outside. This way the hair doesn't stay in places you can't see it, which causes teary eyes and sneezing attacks.

Im glad you shaved Sasha not against it. We have to shave my long haired dog every few months because she gets matted like crazy and theres really nothing you can do about it. It just happens. So thank you for being a good dog owner and shaving her! I bet she's been thanking you a lot too.
