The weather makes it very atmospheric Cool that you can drive through the gate. A very informative tour, as always. 😊 Dover Castle looks a fab place to visit. Thanks for sharing Have a great week Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕 ❤
Like i mentioned, thoroughly enjoyable video, loved listening to you walk us through the various buildings, sharing stories and giving us a fantastic insight into Dover Castle. Such a mighty and impressive castle, we will 100% go for a visit, but i really enjoyed your tour. Thank you Tudor!
It truly is and I didn’t even take in the medieval tunnels, the outer Bailey walk or the war time tunnels. Definitely a days visit if you wanted to see everything - and why wouldn’t you?
@@Tudor_Travels definitely a place for the drone like you mentioned and if there’s ONE reason to join English Heritage it’s this. Thanks again for the walkabout it really does inspire me to get down there on a sunny day and take it all in! 😁
Wow so much to see! Although we can't see all the structures the weather gives it a real medieval ( or my idea thereof) and eerie feel! Just perfect in my opinion!❤
Oh yeah, that castle looks wonderful (Arundel). I’ve never visited - only driven past it. I think I’ll wait until spring time or summer before venturing out that way 👍
Your video just showed up in my suggestions and made me realize that I've never been to a castle in the rain. I did however faceplant in the mud in a castle over here in Germany. Cannot recommend it. Anyway, I'll check out some of your other videos now.

If you ever do it...give yourself a lot of time! 👍
Very beautiful the way you added the music in the church works well ☺️

I know you could do a really good video of the place for your channel. Think of Brett’s drone footage too! 🙂
The rainy day makes it so atmospheric and mysterious. Beautiful and thank you for recording this!
It did create a different atmosphere that’s for sure.
What a magnificent place

The place is immense. Perhaps I’ll do a second video when the weather gets better and take in some of the things I missed 👍
Oh no Tudor you will get soaked to the bone. Hope you had a few hot beverages to warm up. There is a lovely castle down in Arundel.

You know it so well. I’ve taken you at least twice a year for at least a decade. You could now be my tour guide 🤣❤️
