CRF250L was released in 2012 here in the UK and is still in production and just released the CRF250 Rally version as well, there are plenty of OEM spares and aftermarket spares..............this fella obviously is misinformed
For all of you K&N haters. You all need to do research as well. Proper care is required on a K&N, but most lame asses don't do it. Not cleaned or properly oiled equals poor performance. Every test I have seen, posted by your father...Google, showed positive results. That said, I don't use them on my CRF250L...why spend that kind of money, ($54 to 70 USD here) when the dealer sells OEM filters (in Thailand) for less than $6. I just bought 3 for THB 180 each. ($5.91) Enough for 3 easy changes. I can do ten or more changes for the same money as a K&N.
Thumbs up. But what does this filter do except from cleaning the air like the original one? Is it better? Gives it more air? How so as it has ECI? Please explain. Why is it worth changing the original filter?
The replacement of the original filter by the K & N is worth it? Is there an improvement in benefits or response? It´s quite expensive compared to the original, even if it is reusable, that is why I mention it
never put a k&n filter on anything. they let too much dirt through and will ruin your engine, just google k&n filter damage and see the carnage. It astounds me that people think they know better than the engineers at honda
You should consider redoing...or deleting this bull squat. You are a mechanic? Motorcyclist? That filter is on most shelves in every country. CBR250R/CRF250L share an engine.Released in 2012. In 2015, the CBR became a 300. (286cc) Larger bore, still the same filter. Know your bike before opening mouth.
Umm did you ask to put a sticker on your customers bike? I understand your trying to save people money but I'm not a big fan of stickers especially ones I don't like and I'm not sure I would like it rather you could see it or not
Anybody that puts a k&n in their bike is a moron. They do nothing. Just look at the size of it compared to the stock filter, it’s tiny. Way less surface area for not only airflow but also filtration
'Don't make a ton of parts.' Is he serious?

do you guys know about filter's micron value ? thanks.
They r shit. Use the oem filter.
If you like rebuilding your engine soon than later us a K&N filter.
Only a couple of years? Did they discontinue it for 2016?
+Robert Hicks They are still making these. This version has only been around since '13.

these are still been made and are a top seller for Honda.... parts are plentiful..... will not Be going to powersports they are ill informed..
Does this fit the 2017?
DO NOT...EVER...USE A K&N! The amount of dirt it allows through is amazing. And good luck cleaning/re-oiling "properly"

You should read up a little bit before you go tearing into a bike you don't know anything about.
