Laura, I thank you for this video. I want to be the kind of person who purchases some basic makeup, and other than trying an occasional lipstick, I want to just use my makeup basics and not continually “buy, buy, buy” things. You, dear Laura, have often spoiled this plan because I ‘ll watch a video and think that, “This blush is the one! I will buy this and be satisfied for months with it.” Then I’ll watch your next video and you’ll show another great blush that, much to my dismay, I’ll have to try! So I am going with this video. I am going to add a few of your suggestions and then not purchase another item until spring! Thank you for helping me get out of this cycle of seeking and purchasing the next “holy grail” of products. The holy grail for me is not out there. After a couple of your recommended purchases from this video, I am going to be satisfied with what I have. I love your videos mostly because I love you and your presentation style. Happy New Year to you. “May you live as long as want, and not want for as long as you live.”
I appreciate your sweet comment so much. I think you have a great routine in place. It is fun to add a couple of new things when companies develop innovative formulas and shades. I hope you have an amazing 2025! Sending you much love. xoxo
I mostly agree with your list of best drugstore products. L’Oréal, Maybelline and Revlon have some great foundations, and skin tints as well as lipsticks. The Revlon Coralberry color has been a favorite of mine for years. NYX is wonderful for eye products and upped their game with the butter blushes & bronzers. I appreciate and use Elf’s dupes of higher end makeup. Milani has great products also. Drugstore or lower cost makeup brands are killing it. I rarely buy any higher end makeup.
Thank you for taking the time to share your favorites. I think the drugstore makeup we saw in 2024 was pretty amazing. I am looking forward to seeing what is available in 2025. Happy New Year! xoxo
My current favorites are the Wet &Wild Photofocus Dewy foundation, ELF Hydrating Camo concealer, Physicians Formula face palettes for bronzer, blush and highlight. I love the Milani cream blush in Merlot Moment, lipstick Revlon superlustrous.
Thank you, Laura! For you to say Almay was your most favourite blush, especially being one that is rarely ever talked about, makes me want to try it. I've already looked at the different shades, and plan to get the pink one next time I'm out shopping. I've been steering away from powder blushes because they can look dry on the skin, but this one doesn't look powdery, so I'm willing to give it a try. My favourite drug store product is the CoverGirl Easy Breezy Micro-Fine and Define eyebrow pencil in the shade Soft Brown. It is a dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown. This was the first drugstore eyebrow pencil that actually matched my brows perfectly. (I like a cool ash brown shade.) I also recently tried their new Nano brow pencil (very fine point), and I really like that one as well. I also really like the pink packaging. If you ever do want to try the CoverGirl Nano pencil, make sure to look at the side of the package where they give you a description of the shade so you get a good shade match. The one I chose was perfect (500 Medium Brown)! I highly recommend! P.S. Happy New Year!
I am so glad you found a great brow pencil that works for you! I have tried the pencil and really liked it. Thank you so much for sharing this. Hope you have an amazing 2025. xoxo
I don’t know if I have favorites of all time, but I recently purchased the Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint and really am impressed. I debated about it for some time but finally decided to give it a try. Shade 120 seemed ideal but was sold out. 118 looked too warm, so I decided to try 112 although I was certain it would be too light and cool. Amazingly it is perfect for my winter complexion. It doesn’t look like I have any foundation on at all, just evens out my skin tone with a healthy subtle glow. So glad I purchased it.
I just got 2 of this bbia shadows and I cannot get over how beautiful they are and that price. I wish they had more colors. I love this video and love you too. ❤
I just love these eyeshadows,,I have tried all your recommended ones, and I Delighted with the Results,,your Complexion is so nice and Healthy looking,,,t.y. Laura your a Blessing.with your super videos,,💖💖💖👍🙏🙏
Revlon lipsticks are my favorite! I especially love the Super Lustrous Cream and the Glass Shines. Lip balm favorite is Lip Smackers. I’m also 60 and I have tried many lip balms but nothing can replace Lip Smackers for me. Top picks Vanilla, Watermelon, and Strawberry.
Gosh, I don’t think I can choose just one all time best drugstore makeup! There are so many excellent ones. Maybe the one I consistently use every day are elf brushes. I have an eclectic assortment, but I reach for them regularly, in addition to BK and Real Techniques.
BK Beauty brushes are absolutely my favorite. e.l.f. definitely makes some incredible affordable brushes. I have purchased so many of them too. Thank you for sharing your favorites. xoxo
I enjoy the Loreal Les Shadow sticks very easy to apply, smooth. Love and repurchase the Mabelline thin eyebrow pencil. also gonna grab the elf shadow and give it a try:)
Great video!! I ordered the eye shadows to try & the new elf glitter shadow. I can’t wait to try them. I love Revlon’s lipstick - been wearing them for years.
That Revlon corally lipstick is so flattering on you Laura. Have you tried Rimmel’s Silky Translucent Loose Powder in the container with the blue lid? I have been using it for years, tried others including higher end ones but always come back to the Rimmel one which is so affordable. It is so light and semi matte so doesn’t make your skin look dull and flat.🥰💜
I’m with you Laura - I think I’ve tried every lipstick on the market and I always come back to Revlon! That Coral Berry looks great on you! Thank you for the tip of applying setting spray to the under eyes after concealer- (powder just doesn’t work for me) I’m going to give it a try!
Cover girl has an eye primer which does me better than Milani. I like milani but it’s too good. This cover girl goes on easy. Keeps my shadow good all day. Mascara I’m going out of the box. L’Oréal has a tubing mascara which also comes with a primer. It has really helped my lashes and stays until you take it off with warm water. Does not damage my lashes (warning it you apply heavily it can clump). Wonderful video. (I’m in my 60s)
This kind of video is great. For me I love watching all the new drugstore things but for my personal collection, I'm at the place I just want the narrowed down drugstore best and have my reliable holy grails. I don't have the disposable income to go buy things frivolously. Thanks to you and a few other creators who are able to buy and test and compare etc. I'm able to go purchase what I want or need and don't have to try out a bunch of stuff that may or may not work. It's so important that whoever your taking recommendations from has similar skin to you with similar needs most importantly. Thank you as always for being truthful and doing the testing out for us!! ❤ I only buy drugstore once a year at tax time so I save up the recommendations for a couple different full face looks, the rest of the year I stick to the dollar tree and dollar general. Dollar tree gave us alot of goodness this year, I'm super hopeful for 2025.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad that my videos are helpful! I have always been on a budget, so when I am selected makeup to test and sharing it I always have that at the front of my mind. Your comment really made my day! xoxo

You MUST give Laura Geller Blushes a try!! She makes some of the best Blushes I ve ever owned!! She has four types of Blushes: Powder, Stick Cream, Blush & Bronzer 2 in 1 and the Gel Blushes!! Seriously they are so beautiful!! The prices are Drug Store when on sale!!!
Love you! I can't wait to try the Maybelline skin tint. Everyone seems to love it more than the L'Oreal. The L'Oreal looks a little too yellow on me. My HG is Catrice HD!
I love the Catrice HD too. I wore it for a long time. I think you will love the Maybelline Skin Tint. I think it is a bit more moisturizing than the Catrice. xoxo
Hi Laura Ray, l have the same setting spray from Elf, but most of the time, l get Charlotte Tilbury setting spray, and Mac's setting spray too, hugsssss ❤❤❤
Yes. I use a lot of color for eyeliner. I still do like the liquid liner very close to the lashes to make the lashes stand out. The line is so thin you can’t usually see it. I go over it with burgundy or sometimes a brighter shade. I like to switch it up. I talked about that last week in my video Makeup I Am Letting Go Of.xoxo
My most purchased items from the drug store are Milani luminoso blush, Rimmel's stay matte primer, stay matte powder, and their liquid lipsticks. Elf's hydrating camo concealer. However, that has been replaced with NYX serum concealer.
You’ve been on you tube awhile. I watched you way back when. Didn’t recognize you with the blonde hair. It suits you. My tiny observation is the color is too warm/golden for your skin tone. You look great!

I love Lip Smackers! They are such a classic and I love their fruity flavors. ❤️❤️
Love the Milani primer! I usually never wear primer, but I thought I would give it a try. What a bonus! Thanks, Laura.
@@maddieb726 I want to try this but I can't find it!
So happy that you are enjoying it too! xoxo

Setting spray is a game changer for under eyes! xoxo
Your skin looks so glowy. I don’t know if it is the lighting or makeup, but the last couple of videos your skin looks juicy!
Thanks so much! I’ve been trying to incorporate more hydrating products. xoxo
The lip color is pretty with your skin tone!
Thank you so much. It is fun to try shades that are different than ones we usually wear. xoxo
