Hello, I tried the cover girl mascara on your recommendation and I love it. I went on to purchase a new one from amazon and they have an ultramarine black frost 🤩 *mind blown* haha. This coming from a 45yr old who has already informed my kids to make sure I have glitter/shimmer/metallic on my eyes when I am buried. 😂 of course I ordered the new mascara, but I have not gotten it yet so I cannot say if it is good or bad. The one thing I can say for sure is that I will be rocking that mascara as soon as I open the package.😂 just wanted to let you know. I'm so excited to see your thoughts about the new elf matte power grip primer! I like the original but I have such oily skin so I'm hopeful this one will work even better for me.
I used to be a high end only person but have been getting more into drugstore now, as finances are tight. I have managed to find a drugstore alternative to almost all my high end ones for every makeup category, even foundation which I never thought I would (thanks elf!, I love their CC camo creams). Almost all my faves are from ELF and NYX, with a few things from Maybelline mostly mascara and powder, and Milani too. But ELF and Nyx remain by favourite drugstore brands for sure
THANK YOU for continuing to focus on affordable and drug store beauty products. I am going on a no buy/low buy, at least for the first 6 months and then I will re-assess. But I have fully vowed to only purchase affordable and drug store products. They have just upped their game so much that it doesn't make sense for me to pay luxury prices for products that sometimes barely rivals the affordable stuff.
I want to share how important it is to use sunscreen on your lips. My husband had lip cancer, and had to have plastic surgery and treatment. Thankfully that was over 10 years ago, but he always keeps a lip balm with sunscreen in his pocket, and applies it often. I'm really glad to see Elf making a lip product with sunscreen, and I will definitely be buying a few! I actually like seeing the makeup being applied...but I'm sure that takes more effort on your part to make the videos. I love TH-cam videos, and am not a huge fan of short video content. I appreciate your videos so much!!❤

Can I ask when you are refering to product to keep mentioning the name of the product, sometimes I am playing videos during driving and you will have started talking about a product and only mentioned name once, and I can't see it, but I don't know what the product is because you only mentioned it once! I just got the essence caramel latte blush and it’s so good! And they even had the meta glow highlighter and I’m blown away at how beautiful it is. ❤
The Essence blushes colours vary a lot in finishes, but all apply beautifully. There are most matte variants.
