I only uploaded this clip to remove space on my phone as I had it there forever. Glad to see it’s being watched by so many. Long live Phil Hartman and his amazing characters
@@timfortune9 Even stranger, SNL rapidly declined after Hartman left. And the final season of Newsradio after he died was terrible, the show's only bad season. None of this seems like a coincidence.
Look up Phil's SNL Robot Repair sketch. It has very similar jokes about misinterpreted words and punctuation. Makes me think Phil wrote this Hutz bit himself.
All of his diplomas and certificates are pinned on the wall rather than being placed in picture frames
god i love old simpsons
And I'm betting absolutely none of them are legitimate.
@@TinyDeskEngineer Oh, I'm sure Hollywood Upstairs Legal College is very legitimate.
I appreciated the reference to this joke in a thumbnail for a negative movie review. "James Bond? No, time to die!"
best character ever
Yeah
The importance….. of punctuation.
The way he says the comma in "No, money down!" is hilarious.

That paper sounds delicious.
Old Simpsons were so good
It's a funny thing to think about, but when the show started it's downhill slide (Season 11 onwards), it was after Phil Hartman died.

I'll sell you this one it's almost full.
Well why don't I just drink out of a toilet bowl
@@vatorhunters he'll be back...
If only Trump’s lawyers were smart enough to ask for money down lol
Greatest lawyer to ever exist
He has argued in front of every judge in that state.
Often as a lawyer.
Look up Phil's SNL Robot Repair sketch. It has very similar jokes about misinterpreted words and punctuation. Makes me think Phil wrote this Hutz bit himself.
My attorney, ten thousand dollar retainer
The real joke here is Bart actually k owing what contingency is
The comma should have been a semicolon, but still hysterical.
And to think he would have gotten millions since the won the case lop
Terrible lawyer, but they consistently hired him. Mind boggling.
He was the only one they could usually afford I guess.
i dont think it would be very funny if they hired a competent lawyer. maybe though
He calls himself a lawyer yet he has no money. He should be living in the streets, surviving by only eating rubbish.
He does. We see him digging through trash.
He will accept any job, including getting paid in drinks when he baby sits the Simpson kids
Oops shouldn’t have this bar association logo on it. Yeaaa that proves he isn’t a real lawyer
Wait, he doesn't work on contingency?
No, money down!
No, money down!
Shouldn't have this bar association logo here, either.
(Peels the phone number off and eats it.)
If only he did, he would have cleaned up on the $800,000,000,000.00
