I enjoy watching your channel. 1st off your so peaceful with your voice . It’s nice of you to bless others giving away records you don’t listen to . Keep spinning 👍🏻
Thank you! Yeah been talking about records for a while now, it’s hard to grow my reach but glad this vinyl tag was able to connect w a lot of new people ✌🏽
There are over 20 vinyl tags, I have never seen it get this crazy. Fun to get an album you fought for! Cure love doing picture discs. I just bought a Tycho album, is that the artist you were talking about. I found it on clearance so I grabbed t not knowing what it is, something I do way too much. Enjoyed your tag Monica.
Ohh nice let me know what you think of Tycho when you listen to it, it’s very relaxing, it’s ok if it puts you to sleep lol it’s doing it’s job 😂 Yea so many vinyl tags!
A belated but novel response to the vinyl tag. Love that Curtis Mayfield soundtrack. I was listening to it just the other day and particularly liked the instrumental with oboe in t. He was quite unlike any other soul artist. Nonpareil, I believe is the term. A quite unfortuitous mention of Melanie at your dinner party. Q: who would be your fourth guest?
Curtis Mayfield is always fun to play. Right I thought the same thing, I just mentioned having her at my dinner party. I wouldn’t know who to invite, Melanie was my friend lol oh maybe Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac, she’s very interesting
Just found your channel threw yourgroove's RSD 24 reaction vids! Great tag! Loving the Nirvana and Dylan picks I have to get that unplugged vinyl asap! Walking into that Dylan cover made me think straight away of the scene Vanilla Sky 😅
Yourgrooves had me laughing at his reactions to all the RSD stuff, glad you checked my channel out. Oh yeah vanilla sky movie and soundtracks is one of my favorites, probably why I wanted to walk into the cover ☺️
Great vinyl tag Monie! You showed lots of my favourite albums and artist… Pet Sounds, Freewheelin, Queen is Dead, Ram, Oracular Spectacular and all the S&G. Never heard of the Radio Dept so will check them out. Just started my own channel if you wanna take a look. Cheers, Jack
It was cool to discover that Ghostly Kisses is actually french-Canadian singer-songwriter Margaux Sauvé. I was unaware of this artist that is local to me. It does occasionally happen while watching videos from the VC that I'm exposed to artists that are from here that I haven't heard. As I always say: "you can't hear/know all of the music know matter how hard you try!" Cheers.
Hi Monie - Loved the Bob Dylan & Cure choices & descriptions. What a deal on that Stevie Wonder album ! I agree strongly with Play Vinyl In The Milky Night channel support ..He & I & many others voted Everything Is Alive by Slowdive as best album of 2023 & he loves Stereolab ! & I know you do to. Have a great weekend 😊
Great job, Money! Great to see you back in action. Thanks for mentioning my channel. Your content is always so flawless and flowing! Props to your wonderful husband, Gus, for being such a great filmmaker. See ya around. 😊
Aloha Monie muse , Another Amazing youtube video! Great vinyl tag questions. By watching these videos I have an idea of what you enjoy listening too. Glad you enjoy the BAD COMPANY record album, I enjoy the whole record album, but my favorites are: Can't Get Enough, Rock Steady , Ready For Love, Movin' On, Bad Company & Seagull. I need to start looking through my vinyl so I can pull some stuff I don't really care for and share it with you. Thank you again Monica for an amazingvideo . Mahalo ed
Great responses Monica!! I appreciate the shoutout. Bad Company's debut was a great release of '74. I 100% agree that Pet Sounds is an essential album! 😄
Splendid vinyl tag. Rob’s the best isn’t he? Not that late, I felt my vinyl tag was late as well, but I had a good excuse, I had to get home to my record collection! 😆 Smiths, «get it one my turntable!» Ha ha, loved that. Ah, MGMT, but even more awww… RAM. I love that album so much I bought it… 4 times 🙄 …and I’m a new subscriber. Have a lovely Sunday and cheers from Morten in a very windy Denmark 💨☔️
To be honest, I was burned out on the 2024 Tag videos, but you knocked it out of the park. Nice editing and great flow. I’m actually thinking about doing a non-tag vinyl tag video (or something like that where I talk about my collection) for my channel. Take care! ✌🏻

I have some queen, you’re gonna be surprised but I never heard one song of kiss 🫣 I was born in the 80s, the 90s kinda passed me by when it came to music since I was a kid. I would make mix tapes from the radio stations which was so hard to find anything I liked, I did discover the cranberries during that time. I did make a ton of cd mixes 😎
Thank you! Been making videos about discovering music through records and CDs for a few years now. I get so many great suggestions on artist to check out too .
Butch Vig, who produced Nirvana's "Nevermind", belongs to a band whose Self-Titled album I wish I never bought because it's GARBAGE. JUST KIDDING! This masterpiece is my absolute favourite album from the 90s and though I've been into it for a long time, it became special in light of something that happened in 2022. I lost my father to lung cancer, but I put this album on one day in the Summer in order to cheer myself up and I KID YOU NOT, THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED AS SOON AS THE THIRD SONG, "I'M ONLY HAPPY WHEN IT RAINS", STARTED: A SUN SHOWER OCCURRED OUTSIDE! The world telling me things were going to be okay.
When the vinyl tag started it wasn’t something done at the beginning of the year. Pick a country is between England and the US. I’ve seen people pick Canada, France and Germany. Get real. Los Angeles alone has more music than those countries.
I have a feeling vinyl tag is gonna be a new January tradition . sometimes I find myself just listening to music made in Los Angeles , I should try and adventure out 😂
As one of those that choose Canada, and yes arguably with my heart, are you discounting it because we have less, or are you discounting it on its content? as there are many, many talented artists from here, there just aren't as many of us. I think the question would have been a bit more intriguing if the UK (yes I know not a country) and the USA were not on the table.
@@RacerRecords I guess I’m personally discounting Canada because of quantity and quality. I’m also just having a bit of fun. Thankfully music is a matter of taste so there isn’t a right answer. In my vinyl tag I suggested the question would have been better if the person’s home country was eliminated. You took it up a notch.
Better late than never! Best way to return is with VINYL TAG 2023
Happy New Year! From the UK.❤

I can answer number 4 so on Cd that's easiest for me what decade would I want to listen to only as good as the 60's were it was basicly the late 60's so the early 60's aren't as classic under any other category it would be the 70's tv shows , movies , sports cards but for music it would the 80's
I know the 70's are very classic but the 80's are to.
so you who were born in the 80's did I hear you say the 2000's?
6. if you mean an artist that released an album in 2023 the answer should be no surprise to you 0 as my newest album is 1992 Alice in Chains - Dirt
