- With all of the escape rooms going around you might have found that they're a tad bit too easy. Well when I got the chance to take on the hardest escape room in Minecraft I knew I had to give it a shot. This is the hardest escape room ever.

The thing I REALLY like about this is that there is NO redstone involved. Puzzles would just get legitimately impossible with crazy complex redstone setups.

There was some redstone involved for the depositing boat and fishing rod, but that's it.

How to beat the last room without the glitch:
1. Use the lectern's hitbox and place it 1 block off the ground to save a block when pillaring out of the first room (2:18)
2. Do NOT break the cobweb to craft a wool block. Use the block you saved from step 1
3. Craft the purpur into slabs to save 3 blocks (8:01)
4. Once you get the boat, you can place the cobweb at the door height and place the boat inside the cobweb.
5. Use this boatweb technique to go back to the first room and collect the lectern, chest, crafting table, and 2 glass
6. Once you're back in the bee nest room, you can break the cobweb for the wool, and smelt all the iron into nuggets
6.5 Spend 2 hours stuck behind an invisible M wall, give up, watch the solution
6.6 Spend another 30 minutes smashing your sandy boat against a wall, knowing its the solution, giving up, and breaking the barrier in creative
7. For the candle parkour, you can start them 1 block off the ground and get onto it using the lectern. You can reclaim the lectern while standing on an adjacent candle (14:25)
7.5. Make sure to use the lectern trick and leave it here as its the last >2 tall wall
7.6. If you're really trying hard you could abuse fire tick jumps to save another couple blocks
9. By this point you've saved: 1 chest, 2 purpur slabs, 1 purpur block, 1 wool, 1 crafting table, 2 glass, 1 terracotta, and 1 useless unplaceable dripleaf
You can 'escape' through the powder snow ceiling using the boatweb technique
You can also 'escape' under the crafting table in the bee nest room. When you break it, there's hole to void. You use the boat to crawl
I figured both of these out before watching the boat clip solution
This was a really fun escape room, I just wish it didn't have the boat clip as the intended solution.. I spent like an hour trying to get the chorus fruit to that point

Using the dripleaf to crawl would have saved lots of time in many areas but you got through it well :)

The solution to the last room
from the previous room where you had purpur blocks, craft them into slabs to get out of that room, youll have 1 purpur block and 2 slabs left
in the last room, you first put a button on the last bedrock, then the block infront, then a sign on that, slab on the sign, then do it once more and you get a 4 block jump to the end

11:15 Alternate way through is the dripleaf. You get put into a crawling position when it goes back up, so its extremely useful for puzzles.
The one block tile is raised off the floor though so I'm not sure that'd work.
@@Quiczor In 1.17.1 you can place dripleaf on most blocks (including sand) so that means it would work. I tested it out myself. Even if he wasn't in 1.17.1, he changed his version to a snapshot, which means he would be able to change versions as well.

@@lkfortheday7251 if it was scripted he would have got the right answer which he didn't, thats not how you complete the room. He just cheated it, he also wasnt aware the drip leaf is what he had to use to get into crawl state, instead of glitching with the boat.
For the last room, you have about a second of immunity every time you log in, so you can jump in the lava, log out, log in, swim a bit, and repeat until you reach the edge of the room. Then use fire tick to damage boost over the last block.
The exit was one block high and you cant jump two blocks high so even if he did do that he would still be stuck

I'm pretty sure the solution to the last room was to use the Warped Signs to make a path through the lava (assuming it wasn't 2 blocks deep). You place one, jump in, place the second, then break the first one, and place it in front until you make it.

Also y would they give that one block that could glitch to water and wait use would the glow lichen be if that wasn't the solution
@@UrMoMsDuck im pretty sure they meant that by placing the signs on the presumed one block deep lava, they could walk through step by step because the lava would be replaced by the sign which then can make the player walk on the bedrock because there is no more lava underneath, not necessarily stepping on the signs themselves. that is assuming the lava is only one block deep though

You could easily past that last room by constantly quitting and rejoining the world, since you keep doing that the world doesn't recognize that so it gives you immunity
There's no way you didn't pick the correct solution for the final room. The coincidence of giving you one of the only items that could possibly help would be unreasonably unlikely.
What about the signs though, is it like bedrock or do they burn in lave bc I would’ve used the signs to leapfrog across

@@ahuman3393 I also thought that but once you would get to the end you would have to jump up two blocks to get into the exit, the creator was probably aware of the lichen glitch and made that the solution to the last level

I think the signs could've definitely been used somehow, maybe the drip leaf as well. I'm not too familiar with game mechanics but maybe it can clear lava? Not sure how deep the lava is as well, I assume it's one block but who knows
drip leaf can make you crawl. if you stand on it and let it fall all the way, then wait for it to go back up again, it will make you crawl.

Signs can clear lava. Like literally. There is no lavalogging so the game just does the same thing as wirh water and doors IIRC.
If it was 1 block deep he couldv‘e possibly gotten trough using the signs. Go 2, break the behind one, place it in front, repeat.

11:20 You could use the dripleaf to be able to fit in a one block hole. You just needed to step on it and wait for some time. Then you can collect it back.
It just works in one version though (as I know)
The last room definitely has a solution that is not scuffed (logging in and out is, changing version is too). Wifies had so many blocks left and maybe some of the blocks used in earlier rooms might not have to be used or you could retrieve them. Signs and stuff could also be used the space the solid blocks out, at best you only need 2 of them, but 3 or 4 might be necessary for the tools you have.
candles also work
He had 4 purpur blocks earlier. He could have used 3 of those to make 6 slabs for a total of 7 building blocks, it would sadly only saved him 2 slabs but that is still much better than no slabs. The slabs could maybe been used to get across the lava if they are spaced out using the signs/lichen.
It said as long as you are in vanilla survival anything goes. So water glitch and relogging are allowed.

You can stand on drip leaf until it is recovers, so you will be in swimming position. And on newer versions you can just put glow lichen and signs in lava so it disappears
At the end, you had two warped signs. I’m pretty sure these don’t burn in lava when they’re placed. Even if they do burn, if you place and break them fast enough, you could have made it to the end. If you used this method, which I’m not 100% sure it works, you’d still need a block at the end to get up the 2 block ledge.
Did no one notice that there was a space with lava but no source block on right when you walked in to the last room next to the bridge. There could have been a container that could have been opened.

When I first saw the last room I thought you might have needed to place the signs and or item frames where the lava was in order to form a path. Not sure if it would work though.

There is a difference though, with escape rooms the challenge is to escape through puzzles that were designed to be solved. With prisons, the challenge is to design one that can not be escaped while meeting certain criteria

Well they're not necessarily wrong? the setting for a lot of escape rooms is a prison break, but for this one there's no story or setting, it's just "hard puzzles good luck" so you couldn't possibly call it a prison
turns out you can pretty easily get out of bounds in the powdered snow area which allows you to not only skip the next room but also get access to multiple chests containing 1 stack of wool and 2 stacks of bedrock lul
But how did you get the bucket we only have 8 iron nugget
@@ForgottenedRBLX i never got any bucket. All you need for that room is the fishing rod, the boat, the torches and the 2 sand you get in that room

@@Joey-hb8sx well the room where you are supposed to throw them away is exactly the one i never entered since i went out of bounds the room before and just activated the command block manually to teleport me.
The point of the map, as stated in the book too, is to escape using whatever you can as long as you are in singleplayer survival.
@@Joey-hb8sx Yeah no lol you cant make "the hardest escape room ever" where you can only escape with "ingenious obscure minecraft knowledge" and ask the player to please destroy some items. If the goal is being completely free to do whatever to the point where you dont even get context except at the start and it can hide string randomly across bedrock rooms it's more than fair to go out of bounds/ ignore every rule that isn't stated in the beginning. It's not making it easier, it's actually you as a player that's making it harder by following unwritten rules lol you can turn any map hard that way

The room were you stacked up using candles you could have saved some blocks by using the lava to take fire damage and get a boost to jump, I believe they'll also was one more room like this.

I figured out how to beat the last room without changing versions or using the exit world glitch
You have to craft the purpur blocks into slabs leaving you with just 3 blocks/slabs which is all you need to escape
You can bridge across the gap by alternating buttons/signs and the 3 blocks/slabs
You'll be left with a 4 block jump :)

If this escape room was made with that specific version's bug in mind then that's not great in my opinion.
Anyway, this actually can be passed without abusing any bug if you know some things in advance:
1. No need to smelt armor and sword in the second room since there is a furnace in the next one. Just take the coal from 2nd room's furnace and keep.
2. In the third room all the armor, sword and the Chorus Fruit can be smelted with a single coal (the iron nuggets are not gonna be used though).
3. The Purpur blocks should be turned into 6 slabs so you leave the 3rd room just by using 4 of them (the Dripleaf can help a lot for placing the slabs).
4. In the room with 2 signs drop the coal into the hole and wait. Keeping the boat is important, but not for passing through walls.
5. In the ice block section you need to climb 10 blocks, so after using candles, terracotta blocks, Purpur slabs and block, and sand you will still have 2 Chests, the Dripleaf and of course the Boat. BTW, the fishing rod can help to light the candles if you didn't succeed with 4 eggs.
6. After falling into the room with 3 routes just turn left, walk 2 blocks and look at the ceiling. You will notice that the barrier block is missing in that exact spot.
7. Just place a chest, stand on it, jump and place the boat on top of the ceiling. Then right click and jump into the boat. Take the boat. Now you can walk on the ceiling towards the last room which is 3 blocks higher than the corridor's roof. Use the boat again to get to its roof. Beware of falling due to another missing barrier block at the beginning and walk to the THE END sign.
I don't know if that barrier block is missing on purpose or not but this allows to finish without using leather and iron nuggets and even keeping useful block like 2 chests, the Dripleaf, and the Boat.
Step 5 does not work as he is unable to obtain the terracotta blocks, but nice solution!
@@gametime9179 I guess you confused these terracotta blocks with 3rd rooms terracotta blocks. I meant the 2 terracotta blocks from the chest of the room that you enter and leave through water. :)

my solution to the last room: do some parkour skills with signs to make some space with no lava, then use the fire boost trick to do a 2-block jump
He didn't have any armour, trying to do the fire damage boost trick would mean he'd have to do it on the first try or he'd die. It's do able, but risky.
Remind me what the fire boost trick is

@@dannyboy815 fire damage makes you go in the air a little bit and if you time your jump you can get the firetick to proc when you are in the air to make you essentially jump 2 blocks high
@@_ville even if he went back to the backups, he'd have a very low chance to get it right. Stakes are too high. As I said, doable but risky.
warped signs dont burn, maybe you could've removed the lava with them and maybe the item frames wouldve done the same thing. there was also a missing source blck by the entrance which probably had something useful hidden underneath it
i don’t think removing the lava would have helped though, because it’s more than one block deep

For the last room, I would try using the item frames/signs/glow lichen to block the source lava and all the other lava blocks to see if there was one more block.
I think the last room could’ve also been solved with the log in invincibility thing where you have invincibility for a few seconds when you open up the world . From there you could swim all the way across the lava and use a tick of damage to make the last jump
Honestly at the point where he had an iron nugget on his head was from the button randomly in the maze. He could've pressed the button like until he has 64 iron blocks and could escape 100%
Where would he get enough fuel?
nah it's probably just a piston pushing a redstone block or some 1 press only thing
i think the button had to have a purpose and MIGHT be like (never press that button or else lava get flooded on the exit) or (Put the button on this block and when pressed it will trigger water dispenser or something)

Some notes for next time -
1) you can swap items in an item frame, by holding an item in your hand and right clicking on the item frame.
2) You probably should have searched for chests under the lava.
3) this is a cheeky thing I would've probably done - download a texture-pack where string is some bright color (so you wouldn't have to look for it for ages)
3) I'm pretty sure you can light a candle with a torch... This one I'm not that sure about. Maybe not, or else you wouldn't have been given the eggs🤔.

I thought about the last room, and it may work. In 1.16 and maybe other versions, you can look through lava with F5. This was patched in 1.17+ but I found a way too cheese it. By looking in F5 on a non-full lava source block you can still see through the lava. This obviously is not surely a solution, since it may not be anything under the lava, but it could be.
You and everybody shown at the begining (sipover, rek, mystic) are my all time favorite youtubers. I love how much effort you put into your videos, keep up the good work

If the lava in the last room was one block deep you could have used the signs, glow lichen, button, and item frames to block off the lava
Item frames don't block lava; they're entities instead of blocks.

When you enter the last room at the immediate right of the first bedrock reaching into the lava, there is lava flowing. I think what you were supposed to do is place a warped sign there to expose a chest with stuff in it

To cross the lava in the end you can use the invincibility spawn feature. If you don't know what it is, it's basically when you just spawn into a world you can't take damage for a couple seconds. So constantly join and leave (repeat till lava crossed) and move forward a little each time.
well you would still need a block to stand on to jump to the last room because the hole is 1 block above the lava

Glow lichen lava is such a cool 1.17 glitch, the extra lava source gives it away immediately

The last room: you could use the two signs to block the lava, under the assumption that the lava is 1 block deep, this would essentially make a path for you to walk across, a bit risky but idk 🤷
That was my immediate thought, as well.
It's unlikely a coincidence that he was given exactly two signs made from the only wooden material that doesn't burn in the game.

I pretty likely wouldn't have made it all the way (everything seemed possible except for the last one, that was completely impossible), but a few things I would have made differently:
1. When stacking up in the first room I would've used the crafting table last, as that could be useful (it ended up not being necessary, but you never know)
2. In the room with the rod+lava I'm pretty sure you could've used 1 less sand to get out, by placing the boat on the second sand, jumping down to the bedrock ring, collecting the sand and getting into the boat, maybe you could've gone up even one block more allowing to grab the sand while standing in the tunnel. (that ended up not mattering as well)
my amazing observation skills made me notice a spot opposite that item frame in the last room that there was lava flowing into a single spot, probably that was the answer
Room at the beginning was easy for me- I thought of lightning rods when you got bamboo lmao
using signs and buttons to block lava works. Fun fact: signs cant burn, and warped wood is a nether "wood" so it wouldn't burn if signs did burn anyways, so you probably could have used the button for some redstone system in the last room.

In the final room there was a bit of running lava on the right side, maybe you needed to remove a layer of lava with the signs and item frames revealing an item or something

The warped signs. Because the wood is from the nether, the sign could have been placed for you to super parkour place- jump them allowing you to get to the other side. But good job
