Nice to see you brought her back to good health, I live in qld and literally have one that live by my pool for years, they are everywhere here. Such a cool lizard to watch. Qld is NE Australia by the way 👍
I was just reading about female water dragons having calcium deficiency just by virtue of laying eggs which in captivity can lead to metabolic bone disease if proper spectrum lights aren’t used, etc. - things you are surely aware of. Just thought I mention to make sure and supplement her Ca with vitamin D. * San Diego zoo reptile house has a corner enclosure with Chinese water dragons that is huge, which allows the dominant male to get huge.
Im from western sydney, just over an hour inland from sydney.. we have eastern water dragons here there a really cool animal, i raised and kept reptiles my whole life including water dragon's beautiful animal, hard as a pet though, ive seen pet ones kill 2 foot jacky whiptail lizards, there no joke as adults.. how is you one doing today as i see its 2 years later now? Is it 4 times the size yet? Is its mouth large enough to fit your balled up fist in it yet?
@@the-reptile-haven wow thats cool, I just bought a 120*60*60 cm enclosure, hope it will be better in that soon, and what if my dragon is always be frightened when I try to put something in the enclosure, what can I do

Please let me know if you do end up having babies. I’ve been wanting one for a while and Im working on converting an armoire to a suitable enclosure and then comes the process of hunting one of these bad boys down!! Thanks for the information, it’s hard to find legit information that is up to date.
Keep an eye out, as soon as I get babies I will definitely post videos of them!! You can email me too and I can put you on you on a wait list for them to let you know when babies are available. Info@thereptilehaven-wildlifecenter.org

If it is hitting the top of the enclosure than its is probably to small of an enclosure, It sounds like it is scared and trying to run away
@@the-reptile-haven thanks, I bought a 120*60*60 box, I will see if it will be better.
My lone female is in a 3 foot wide x 3 foot tall x 18 inch deep enclosure and she is soon getting an upgrade to a much larger enclosure
