It is a mixture of "liver of sulfur" and water that oxidises the silver.

Please tell me one thing that if l want to make 25 inche length of chain, what should be actually wire's length.????

If your wire is 0.8mm (20 Gauge) and the jumprings are made on a 14mm mandrel then you will need about 750 cm (24.6 feet) of wire to make a 25-inch chain.

The pointy thing I'm using in the video was originally a polishing tool but I've switched to a regular awl which can be bought in many different sizes and shapes so I'd suggest you search for an awl for jewellery and find one you like :)
