Your research seemed lacking. Babasaheb already told that only way to remove caste is intercaste marriage. A law should be made which protects intercaste/interfaith couples from their families and assures them their children will be taken care of if something happens to them. Only through intercaste marriage, caste can be annihilated

You should also need to see nd research on rich people from sc and obc also using reservation like happening in ews. Best way to stop this do ews reservation same as obc and sr so they demand to cancelled this. Then everyone gets selected by merits.

I scored 96 percentile in the CAT exam studying for hours everyday for many months and even then, I didn’t get a call from any of the IIMs and top institutions. Meanwhile my friends who are from SC/ST, OBC and EWS got admitted in top institutes with way low marks and hard work. So as a general category student, what am I supposed to do? All my hard work went in vain because of this reservation system. And now, I’m happily settled in Europe where merit and skills matter and not your caste.

In Tamil nadu, dravidian ideology driven DMK kept pushing upper castes people into OBC so much that the general category is the minority now (Also things like brahmins being driven out by periyars has to be considered for low gen category population).
EWS caught them off gaurd as it turns out govt can't take back what they offered when it's reservation. Now DMK can't push BCs to general category to avail EWS. their ideology basically reached it's expiry date

@souventudu6154 well thats the different debate that the caste exists or not, but one can't deny the fact that the upper caste were little wealthy. Yes, but that doesn't mean that there is no poverty amongst the upper caste. My opinion is that only one generation of lower caste should have been given the reservation because even if one generation is lifted out of poverty, then the coming generation have a high chance of not going back to poverty. So, after 1 generation of reservation for lower caste, the reservation should have been only for people living below the poverty line.

    Dear bisbo,
There is 99-100% reservation in Haryana. Please make a video on this issue.
    There is 60% raw + 15% Ex-serviceman + 4% Handicap + 1% Sportsperson + 33% women(in education sector)
So general category is fighting on only 20-30% seats *but wait wait*
Government is also giving *extra marks* based on socio-economics. *So a person without reservation and extra marks is eliminated even after coming in top 10.*
3 lakh candidates appeared for Sub-inspector exam. I know a person who was in top 10. But was not selected.
✓Number of person who were selected without reservation and extra marks in various exams of haryana(selection commission released detailed marksheet of selected candidates)--
    Sub-inspector : 4-5 out of 450 seats
Staff nurse : 0 candidates out of 600+ selected candidates
Constable: 20-50 candidates out of 5000 candidates.
Vlda Exam: 2-5 selected out of 400 seats.
Female Durga Force: 0 out of 1000 seats(even state rank-1 was thrown out)
So basically there is 99-100% seats reserved in Haryana. Even after scoring rank in top 10, there is no guarantee that you will get a job.
(My story - My rank is about 200 out of approx 50,000 students for science tgt exam(prelims). Government released a notification of 1600 science seats(now cancelled, will release again in future). Still I don't stand a chance. Even a person with top 10 rank is jobless in Haryana)
Please make a video if possible. I emailed to various youtubers, TV channels, popular teachers on yt. But, no one is raising this serious issue.
I tried to apply for neighbouring state Rajasthan. In rajasthan, there is 85% reservation.(on paper it is 64%, but in reality there is 85% reservation in Rajasthan, I have counted each and every seat).
*I am born in a country/state, where I am not eligible for 99-100% seats.*
I am *not* proud to be an Indian anymore. I lost faith in everything.
PS. I am not a Brahmin(I am mentioning it because there is a trend on social media to abuse Brahmins).

The best method of implementing reservation is :- Why can't the government employ targeted upliftment of socially backward people by better and efficient delivery of governance!!
The current system allows a blanket permission for everyone with just the tag to avail the benefits. This results in a huge difference among the different classes within the socially backward classes and rendering only few of them predominantly in the urban areas, or not so socially backward to claim for reservation. One of my friends used to claim for scholarship amount of around 20000 per year during my college days but he was good enough to buy an iPhone (twice), costly play stations, and had a beautifully designed house which I would have never imagined. In another case, a lot of my college students (non general category) used to get jobs with annual CTC of 10+ LPA way more than many of the unreserved category students.
I can bet that they would have never went through any sort of discrimination. (If you ask them, they'll obviously lie lol 🙄).
So what sort of relevance does the socially backwardness have in today's world where class difference is on high rise?
For the actual inclusive growth of India, there must be a revamp in the current reservation quota which is not only harming the highly deserving unreserved category people but also the actually backward people among the so called socially backward people!!
Also, just a fact :- why don't we have any reservation in cricket, movies etc? It's because they are business. Apart from promoting sports in the country, they are money making means too where there can't be any compromise on the quality and the efficiency.
Even the Indian Armed Forces doesn't have any reservation as the purpose of the job is just pure patriotism and serving the country in the best possible manner.
If not everyone, at least we, the unreserved category people should make it a point to force the policy makers to consider the above mentioned issues and bring the necessary changes for the better, faster and inclusive growth of our country.
Another fact :- Ambedkar and the other constituent assembly members had given a periodic review of the quota system after every 10 years.
If a person like Ambedkar who in his life only had to undergo highest order of discrimination had kept a 10 year review, this explains the gravity of the situation!!
Giving too much power on either of the sides is just very harmful.
PS :- this doesn't mean I am preferring a complete ban on caste based reservation as even today we get to see discrimination in North Indian states (South Indian states have performed exceptionally well in eradicating discrimination, isn't reservation a kind of punishment to them for doing something good!?) and rural areas.
The point is, a blanket permission for all is not correct and this also results in snatching of the opportunities by those who never have faced any discrimination from the actually backward people who needs social upliftment (ex :- people involved in the unimaginable act of manual scavenging, tribal people, rural citizens, etc and not urban people).
I am not even asking the government to reduce the percentage of reservation for the time being at least. But the actual point to worry is, the eligibility criteria to avail the reservation benefits should be made stringent so that those underpriviliged from the backward castes can lead a better life compared to the current situation where well-off people from their own castes are snatching away the opportunities.
Also if a person has availed the reservation benefits once or let's say even twice in his/her life, then what's the need to keep availing the benefits again and again and again!?

Since i am doctor, my example is A person who studied in a medical college after his undergraduation he can get a nice job which uplifts his standard living for sure, for what sake did they are giving reservation in postgraduate neet exam? Just imaging getting treated from an unqualified doctor? He is unqualified so he shouldnt get the seat. Ask these political
Leaders who are amending law to get treatment from them, why are they ruining peoples life? Two people from same college did UG with the help of same professors, during neet pg one got nice rank for which he didnt get a desired college, but the other from same college with reservation who got 10-15 times more rank(means less marks) when comparing to the first candidate is getting amazing college. This video raised an important point. We need to go beyond the social-economic binary when it comes to reservation
    - Adopting a purely social criterion would allow excess discretion which will see even land-owning communities get benefits due to vote bank politics
-Adopting a purely economic criterion would be impossible to implement as documents can be easily fudged to reflect a lower income level, it would require constant updation following changes in the cost of living and actually serve as an incentive against economic upliftment of the community on its own.
Hence the solution is to add an economic filter to the existing social categories so that we’re not faced with situations where children of IAS Officers are claiming SC/ST quota ( something like a reservation impact assessment)

Reservation purely based on caste was such a pathetically idiotic and regressive move at first place, that is what you get when most of your country's unsighted founding fathers only concentrate on social issues than actually rapidly developing the whole country that would eventually benefit everyone in the society. The 2 biggest factors/catalyst that actually benefited all Indians (irrespective of caste/religion or socioeconomic hierarchy) since 1947 are, the green revolution of early 1970s and bankrupt India opening it's doors to FDI in 1991 (a step that communist China took back in 1971). In both these factors foreign innovation, tech, investment played THE crucial role to pull out maximum Indians out of malnutrition and poverty not the soviet style idealistic welfare state which can't even provide good basic infrastructure but notorious to milk less than 2% of country's taxpayers who are actually THE real minority by every single means. Our over the top population explosion has only added fuel into the already raging wildfire. Then you have countless cases like that recent IAS officer khedkar who comes from super wealthy background yet managed to exploit obs and other disability reservation quotas meant for those poor who actually needs it the most.

Money isn't everything even in this era. There are places where marriage of 2 people isn't accepted because of difference in caste despite groom being in a well paid job. Even if caste matches , because of obsession to govt jobs , family's aren't ready to commit to the marriage despite private jobs paying more than govt. Hence people depend on reservations to get into govt in these places.
Need of the hour is educating people. Unfortunately education is the last entity to be focused by govt of our country

Being born in the "Upper Caste" Family? Reservations are meant to break these Upper - Lower differences only. Both of us are fighting for the same cause, that is 'Social Equality & Justice' Reservations are the only way to achieve it, believe it or not. Do you think, giving reservations will affect the quality of the healthcare of India, when having purely Management Quota seats for both the UG and PG in the medical field, doesn't even affect the quality of the healthcare? There are more people getting qualified as MBBS doctors per year than the people who are getting qualified as MBBS out of reservations. And also, think about the concept of 1st Graduation in the family. People of the present generation & belonging to the so called 'Upper Castes' would have not even heard of that term, because even your grandparents or great grandparents would have got the necessary education then. But in most of the SC/ST families, it's only the present generation people are available this 'First Graduation' certification. The constitution of India was not written to equalise people on the economic basis, it was clearly to give Social Justice and Social Equality because those are the ones that were lacking in India then and even now (because Indian people are still having this Upper Caste & Lower Caste things in their mind)

    Obc: 28%

However I have also seen so many lower caste fuerdai filthy rich who snatch away the opportunity from the deserving upper caste who ultimately settle abroad. India and all countries of democracy function for vote appeasement and are destined to remain mediocre. The system is designed that way and not a thing will change till the nation remains a democracy. The western world will thrive because of the brain exports and will remain that way forever. So the prudent thing for any upper caste is to quit India and prosper rather than listening to the BS of dheshbhakthi and giving it back to India.

Yes ,create reservation for "poor SC , ST" by cutting away from the SC, ST , OBC reservation , respectively. For example, let there be 100 seats in a college . Acc to law , 15% reservation for SC. So there is 15 seats for SC candidates. Then take 10% of 15 seats to "Poor SC" candidates, thus creating SC-EWS. Same goes for ST and OBC reservation. That seems pretty logical, because GEN-EWS seats were carved out from GENERAL seats , to help the economically poor general category students. So, should be the case for SC,ST and OBC.

The purpose of reservation was to provide substitution for opportunities which the lower casts did not get , after 70 long years of reservation & opportunities in name of it ,if sc st are still backward then its not about the missed opportunities. If OBCs can improved their level by so much that they had to differentiate the creamy layer, why can SCs & STs not make progress ?! The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice. Correcting a historical wrong by perpetrating another wrong today won't fix anything because two wrongs never make a right.
Like the video explains, a rising tide lifts all boats. The focus should be on collective development of the society and we cannot do this when reservations are weaponized for political gains. There is no justification for children of parents who've benefitted from reservations to still claim benefits while others in their very community still remain left behind after 75 years of independence. And to do this at the cost of meritocracy and growing resentment in the merited youth who're now seeking to take their talents elsewhere in the world, is just plain criminal.
The more appropriate response should be to focus on truth and reconciliation rather than retribution. The darkest aspects of our history must be brought out into the sunlight and current generations should be taught about the injustices of our past so we can acknowledge them and let the healing process begin.

Unsubscribing bisbo. The video is a view from an upper caste perspective ignoring the hardships and social exclusions of lower caste people. How even rich sc/st face discrimination, how caste itself is a problem and reservation is a side effect of caste system. Truth is having a so called higher caste is a life long reservation hence even upper caste people doesnt want caste system to go.

just saying only 30% people are getting into colleges who actually wrote the exam. This is just dumb now
other 70% just came bcos they are socially backward
this is why uneployement is rising

The government should make 100% reservation. Why care about the general catagory? They are the second class citizen of the country. They do not pay any taxes nor have they contributed in any way to nation building. Hope you get the sarcasm.

Sad truth is no party ever will even dare to eradicate reservations coz that party will immediately lose power. Reservations are here to stay at least for the next few decades. Even Modi wont do anything since he's OBC himself. General category students should establish a future in USA or Canada or any western country
